Gosh I miss this kind of big space stages it was realistic back then like the open space and u hit a wall based on ur combos range or just by the object/stuff standing in the middle of the stage (like a real street / mall , whatever.
Back tackle in this game is actually look more realistic than T7's back tackle. In T7 he reverse the opponent's body to supine position. Also on paper his tackle looks super broken in this game but I assume he didn't have fake out in this game so you can react all of the 3 options.
Thankfully back in the day I played against friends and my cousins and all of us were casuals who were playing pretty much everyone except Bears, Marduk, Julia, Lee and Christie iirc, so I have no recollection of even playing against this murderer and cheap op beast tbh😅 Very interesting and nostalgic video as usual man, thank you for the great content 😀
Wait does he have a different voice for the japanese and international version? I heard a different laugh when marduk does the tackle parry in maina highways tas vs tas (Also give him back the laugh when he traps you)
some of them are available on yt(usually mainman swe) does it in a 15-20 minute video I compress it to 4-5 minutes but some are not available on yt and any other place from tekken 1 to tekken 5.0 there's no frame data available on the internet so I face a lot of difficulties in making those videos but I still make them for you guys

Then a random guy showed up and challenged him. (Think he picked HWO) Anyways my brother destroyed him... Then I heard a bunch of chairs move, I turned around and 4 other guys got up and got in line to fight my Brother... We were there for quite a while be he ended up beating ALL OF EM.

@@rmnhn There certainly isn't much in it, but I think Marduk just about edges both of those characters out due to having no fast CH launchers whatsoever, an i10 (as opposed to i8, or, bizarrely, in King's case, i9) standing one jab, and being one of the very few characters in Tekken history to lack a true mid from standing faster than i15, which would be bad news for a character in any Tekken, but is especially bad in the famously poke-heavy T4.

Oh yeah, me and my friend used to call it Marduk's head massage.
Didn't know what they were thinking with his inhuman sounding grunts which sounds nothing like his voice.
Marduk's speaking lines were dubbed over by a different guy in the NTSC version. Hence why his quotes and grunts don't match.
The voice actor couldn't make it, so they replaced him with a German Shepherd.
Maybe they were trying to tie into his "killing Armor King" story by making him sound monstrous. (shrugs)
That was his original voice. It was changed at the last second (only for his ending and intros/outros) for the international version of the PS2 port.
