the colors are better and there's more lighting contrast that's why, the rim lighting pops more and gives character depth, while in T7 fr the addition of filters makes everything look flatter and duller

And idk how you could say this looks worse than TTT2 and T6...yes the visual style was better in terms of body proportions and whatnot, but this beats it on a technical level totally.
It’s crazy they kept it for that long. It became even crazier in FR as it added rage drives, which made CH Hatchet Kick’s damage potential even higher (it could flat out TOD you on a wall break stage).

And yes, the input lag on the arcade feels way higher than it should be, thankfully thats an advantage if you play locally on consoles Other honorable mentions are Dragunov and Jack, those mofos were a PAIN in vanilla alongside Shaheen and Kazumi. Chloe's Caliroll combo damage on Vanilla was also absurd. And last but not least, Josie's ub3 Butterfly Edge(which used to launch up until FR Season 2), it had insane range for an ub move, and can crush certain mids even deathfists.
@@Jermainskee yup, the entire SEA region and other countries never got FR... only Japan and Korea got FR, but Korea didn't get the Round 2 updates because no more arcades supported it(Green Arcade shut down before Round 2 dropped)
Very happy they balanced the game since this iteration lol this is basically what t8 is like rn everything is broken but I'm sure it will be balance just as t7 was eventually balanced

I live near an arcade called round 1 and they got vanilla 7 there. Everyone does insane damage without rage, especially the Mishimas

Sounds like it was just your region. Koreas last update was FR. States only had vanilla irrc
