Never set the priority of a process to "realtime" since that means the cpu could only focus it's resources on that one process, meaning your mouse and keyboard drivers could take an eternity to respond or just stop working until you power off your machine.

Finally someone who did an actually comprehensive video with every possible optimization, I'm also 90% sure I have the fps record for my specific hardware config (i7 4600M ~3.50 Ghz, Intel hd 4600) clocking in at 1300 fps. I think I can probably boost this even higher though.

@@Dimensions899 Lubuntu isn't close to lightweight. Just compile your own kernel and compile dwm and then make your init=/bin/dwm and then just compile java and edit dwm's code to launch javaw /bin/mc on startup. I simplified that a lot.

The difference between version is mainly that you're using frickin F3 to show fps the F3 menu tanks fps by a lot and the fact that 1.8.9 has a lot less stuff then newer versions in F3
The problem's with Fraps is that they don't go beyond 9999 fps aka that's low while afterburner can go above 10k but it kinda tanks fps as well if we are talking more than 5k fps

@@fishspinninglol3497 With Vsync you can go above 60 fps. Vsync locks your fps to your monitors refresh rate which can go above 60. If you have a monitor with a refresh rate of 60 than you wouldnt be able to go above 60 fps with vysnc. But if you had a monitor with a refresh rate of 360 wouldnt be able to go above 360 fps.

In fact, what you've done is just the tip of the iceberg. If you used Linux, then the FPS would increase by at least 80%
we also have to keep in mind that the F3 menu on its own decreases the FPS substantiually

my computer's max fps is 60 and my average fps is 10. not only that, my average ping to any game out there is literally 800
the main operating system optimisation is using linux, probably alpine or arch

The highest playable fps possible would probably be on a computer with an Intel 13900K(S) for the incredible single core performance, the best Radeon Graphics card (7900 XTX as of now) and Linux, preferably using the newest software and kernel avaliable (so ideally a distro like Arch). Along with that some lightweight DE like XFCE4 or a Window Manager, and from Minecraft you'd probably get the most FPS on 1.7.10 with all the crazy performance mods avaliable on it
I'd love to try this myself but I can't get a good pc right now so I'm stuck with a 6700k and its iGPU which can get about 3200 fps with a bit less performant software (fedora linux + kde plasma) on 1.7.10 with optimal mods and basically nothing being rendered (as was done in the video). Though that was at 1080p because idk how to reduce the resolution on 1.7.10 lol

why are you using microshit windows at this point? just install arch Linux, or even better, the pure Linux kernel without systemd, that runs java. Or EVEN BETTER - hand-compile minecraft to raw machine code, that runs directly on an Intel Core i9-13900K, paired with a 4090, under a singular SoC, overclocked to 6zettahertz running the same benchmark over and over, until the electrons in the SoC jump exactly where they need to jump to, to guarantee optimal performance, and make sure that quantum physics don't interfere with the SoC.

It is possible to get 1m fps but you need a way better PC . I just want the one you have . . . On java edition Minecraft gets more fps then bedrock that's a fact 🤯 yeah. Dat is just coming from a good bedrock PvP that plays hardcore on java!
VulkanMod is a mod that gives my 2017 21.5" imac a stable 60fps. In sodium I got ~30 and vanilla ~10 in the hypixel bedwars lobby. If you couldn't already tell from the name, it translates opengl to vulkan to gain fps.

it depends, if your cpu is really bad but your gpu is good, then lithium might actually help more (most people compare sodium to optifine not noticing those are 2 mods by the same creator, just split because they are doing different things) as sodium is for rendering mostly

if you guys wanna increase ur fps use a client, optimise graphics and lower your resolution then do fullscreen mode i got an increase of around 350%
1 tip dont use the f3 debug when trying to look at fps since its programmed to lower/cap the pause and debug menu fps. use a mod or a program instead. keep up the good work!

That's wrong - plain and simple.
There is no snippet which is responsible for capping or lowering the FPS in the debug view.
The performance degradation is caused primarily by the large amount of string formatting and text renderer drawcalls, which both inherently affect performance.
