A minimal linux distro would've given way more fps, and consider using the nvidium mod for modern fabric as it is one of the best.

Hmm, if alpine dosent have mc in its repos then arch/gentoo with xorg and mc with fabric. use starlight, sodium, lithium, ferrite, nvidium, + like 20 other mods im too lazy to type

the fact that its on core i7 and rtx 4070 (nstead of core i9 and rtx 4090) is making the thing even more impressive
bro i7 and i9 doesn't matter an i7 can be faster than a i9 and the latest gen i7 is faster in single core performance than the latest gen i9 is and java runtime is optimized for only dual or single core.
With Minecraft being more cpu then gpu heavy a better choice might be from amd with their x3d chips like the 7700x3d.

a new i7 core is better than an old i9. there are extra models that defidently matter as well. just an "i7" isnt a cpu model.

overclocking, linux, custom cooling should do the trick with the 14900k + 4090 and 32gb ram with some decent speed and timings

No matter what atlas does for optimization, a basic barebones version of linux is much better. I would recommend a version of linux called Arch Linux. It comes without a desktop environment, so you have to install one yourself. I recommend something super lightweight such as LXDE. This will yield much better optimization than atlas, or pretty much anything else other than a custom buildroot image with something like i3WM. Also, 3200mhz ram is a slight bottleneck. if you got a cheaper AIO you could have spent more on RAM and your motherboard, which could yield negligibly higher temps, but a lot more RAM performance. Intel 13th gen supports DDR5, which gets up to 8000mhz :).
I would not be so sure about nvidia drivers though

I actually don't use arch, it's just an extremely well optimized and not extremely complicated to set up OS.@@BunnyBoing
Actually@@AyushTH , nvidia is very good with their nvidia drivers. Because nvidia not only supplies gamers with GPUs, but they also supply data centers with GPUs, they have great drivers for linux.
If he was using it for a second operating system just for this video, sure. But Arch basically sucks ass for anything that isn't AMD. He also edits videos something linux isn't great for.

I found that making the Minecraft tab smaller you can really improve FPS. Hope this helps!

You should try upluging the second monitor, it's less stress on the gpu.
i think you can lower the amount of processes by alot i have 92 processes in windows10 while running 2 chrome windows and the task manager, lowering the processes could probably help you increase the fps by a bit

so i tried it and there was no difference until i turned on 'minecraft mode' where they even pair with lunar and badlion. i went from about 300 to 380@@SkillJumpYeaIplayObbies

just a question, but wouldn't running the game not in full screen on a smaller window and further lowering the resolution increase fps?
I tried! That was the case last time but not with this computer for some reason
Going out of fullscreen is like the same as lowering your resolution so it doesn't matter
Idk if you had lower resolution in the final test, but still.

You could get much higher fps with fabric and mods like sodium on later versions like 1.19, 1.7 is the least laggiest on a normal survival world because it doesn't have to load things like deepslate, but 1.19 is better on a void world. Edit: I'm pretty sure you could also get much higher fps on a server, fps could also possibly be increased if a plugin that decreased the world build limit was used. Fabric is way less laggier than forge and there's many mods other than sodium like lithium and nvidium, but mods that don't increase your fps in a void world would decrease it slightly.

quick tip: load a void world (superflat configs > void preset) which doesn't have to render a single block when destroying the spawn platform. may improve framerate

Step 1: Switch to a linux installation
Step 2: Uninstall all unrequired packages
Step 3: Install a minecraft launcher
Step 4: Install forge on minecraft 1.7.0
Step 5: Install all performance mods that make a significant diference
Step 6: Shrink minecraft window to a few pixels
Step 7: Turn off unrequired background procceses and startup aplications
Step 8: Minimize resoloution
Alternative option: delete all files except those that let Minecraft run and then do the steps you mention

If you remvoe all files that don't let you run minecraft it should let you run minecraft faster because you delete files like chrome opera gx or whatever browser you are using and also other program and startup files that don't neccsury to minecraft@@Sestain

havent finished the vid yet so u may have covered this... capping your monitors refresh at its lowest amount boosts fps (sure u cant see the actual frames but the silly number goes up)

You can still lower in game resolution too 800x600, making the windows as tiny as possible and also desktop resolution as low as possible

yes but that also makes it use less gpu, which in some cases CAN actually make performance worse as it isn't using as much gpu so the clock speeds will be running at a much lower speed.

you can also zoom in on something so its just one color and then press F1 to gain about 700 fps for a couple seconds
imagine if he did this and unplugged the second monitor and made the minecraft window smaller

Now all you need is a 15.000 hz monitor.
To optimize minecraft you can use custom JVM command line, Java alternative (like OpenJDK) and mods for reducing the refresh rate of GUI in Minecraft !

BTW, do you know any dual socket lga1700 boards? Optimal would be with 3-4 pcie (Optimal x16) slots and 8x ddr5.
