    Tyvm as my wife passed and just got a ninja 8qt air fryer. Your site should be super helpful after I get really organized. If I like my food medium rare like burgers or red meats what are the temperature differences TYVM 😊?

    I've never seen a TH-cam video "Coming soon" like this.
    It's set to premiere in 21 hours. Can't wait!

    A wireless digital food thermometer is the best. Stick it in your food, cook until the timer on the app beeps.

    I just got my dab blaze as well, but I thought you didn’t have to turn it over that the bottom element would be cooking at the same time the top was?

      My question also

    Hmm... I thought this would show if they cooked differently. Such as the silicone has holes, but the parchment paper does not (preventing air flow).
    Are we to presume they cooked exactly the same?
    Therefore, the only difference is in the clean up?

      Actually, that's a GREAT question! With the parchment paper and silicone, they cook the same, but in my experience the burgers cooked on silicone are a little crispier on the outside, which I love. Makes the texture remind me more of a grilled texture. Hopefully that made sense? - Jen

      Actually at :09 the parchment does have holes. I just ordered parchment without holes….is no holes going to matter as to air circulation? Thanks

      @WaltDittrich They did cook the same. It was just cleaning up the basket a little bit and tossing parchment paper or cleaning up silicone liner.

      @@claymaness288I cook buns and rolls in the airfryer on paper with no holes. They cook perfectly fine.

    Was the parchment paper & silicone liner sitting on top of their individual detachable crisper plates or were they just placed on the bottom of their buckets?🤔

    Does grease splatter onto either of the two heating elements? Or are they somehow protected from splatter?

    • @airfryingfoodie
      @airfryingfoodie  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Codger2015 They aren't protected, but the grease doesn't splatter that much. And I wipe down the inside after it cools off when I cook something like this or bacon. Just so there isn't grease build up. 😁

    how about the silicon baskets you place food on, can you wash in dishwasher instead? and does material you use matter in taste?

    • @maxineb9598
      @maxineb9598 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Treat all silicone bakeware the same. Its not special for airfryers. Should say of its dishwasher safe or not.

      @@maxineb9598 well it survived, so I guess yes, does material you use matter in taste?

    Unless you're cooking something like cheese, there's really no reason to use either of them. The main purpose of an air fryer is to use less fat, so having something that keeps your food in contact with excessive fat doesn't make much sense.

      With holey liners, the food isnt sitting in excess grease or oil especially if you only give a light spray of oil.

    Try again ladies!!!! Not very clear and no comparison that I could see of times and actual cooking. A thermometer would have been helpful. Sorry a BIG thumbs down!!!!!
