One video I'd recommend you watch is Designing For's "The Regal Heart of King Dedede - Designing For Kindness". It does a great job explaining king Dedede's franchise long character development from being a glutinous tyrant to being almost as much of a good boy as Kirby himself.

Woolie Vs' Kirby lore videos are some of the best atmospheric lore vids out there
Watched them after seeing this comment on the previous video. His video on the Dark Matter Trilogy is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere of Cosmic Horror is perfectly conveyed.
In the English lore about Susie (from the beginning of the video), it never explicitly said she was continuing Mechanization like the man said in the video. It specifically said she was “continuing his work.” Which was meant to imply she was continuing his goal of “Eternal Prosperity” in the real way. By helping other planets using their technology. It was intended to be correct in the English version, but because it was only implied; it can be misinterpreted quite easily.
Actually, even the screenshot of Star Allies' English "Guest Star Allies" pause screen for Susie in the video says "Following in the footsteps of her employer, she uses science to advance her mission - mechanizing new planets and peoples."

There’s a TH-cam channel called Designing For that has videos on Kirby, King Dedede, Marx, and just recently Waddle Dee.
They’re called Designing For Friendship, Designing For Kindness, Designing For Corruption, and Designing For Deevotion respectively.
Those vids are pretty good, worth checking out as follow-ups to these lore vids.

Just a heads up, in Japanese symbology Butterflies represent "Rebirth". Or so I heard awhile back. But it'd make sense that the butterfly is taking souls and being reborn in a newform.

Kirby is the ultimate protagonist. His power level is beyond omega yet he's this sweet cute little lad. He's a good boy who will protect us!
Something that this guy didn't seem to mention is that the butterfly doesn't just absorb power. It "feasts on the most powerful soul it can find". What this means is that galacta knight's soul was devoured by the butterfly which put him to rest while in Elfilis' case the butterfly was unable to fully consume the soul because Elfilis wanted to live and was powerful enough to extract power from morpho knight.
I would like to recommend “Designing for” (that’s the channel name), specifically his videos on Kirby!
King Dedede isn’t mentioned much in these two videos because he doesn’t affect the lore much but he’s a damn good character and “The Regal Heart of King Dedede - Designing for Kindness” is an amazing video that does a great job talking about his character over the years.
Since you're jumping down the Kirby rabbit hole, I humbly suggest a search out some of Design For's, specifically the one he did on the history of King DeDeDe throughout each game. I think you'd really get a kick out it.

If you’re looking for more specific aspects of Kirby lore then I recommend Meteorz’s “What is Kirby Canon”.
Ok so this wasn’t in the video (presumably because it was before Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe was released) but in the new mini-story mode in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, which takes place immediately after the main story of the game, Super Kirby Clash is revealed to be canon, as well as the true arena of the game being confirmed to be canon. Both of these things have massive lore implications
friendly reminder that canonically Kirby is theoretically rebuilding the star warriors with each new game as seen by the anime, which means one day we may see a whole star warriors vs something really reality threatening
aka Kirby might kill whatever it is that is dangerous before lunchtime
Kirby lore IS so cool. I think one of the things it does that allows it to be so cool while still be accessible to everyone is this: Kirby doesnt care. For all the crazy backstories and dark gods, kirby remains pretty much unbothered by it all. Hes got no clue whats going on, all he knows is that theres a bad guy doin bad things and hes gotta stop it. Theres all this crazy lore, and if you think its interesting, you can absolutely engage with it. But if you dont want to, you dont have to, because kirby doesnt really care either.
Guh, Galacta Knight is basically what would happen if One Punch Man was about Saitama trying to find someone who could beat him/kill him, instead of trying to find someone he could fight with

Ah yes, so the commonly known thing from Kirby: Right Back at ya! where King Dedede would say 'I'ma Clobber Dat Dere Kirbeh!'?

Kirby Lore is my favorite for a simple reason. It's complex and in depth, interesting and all that, which is cool...but it doesn't SHOVE THE LORE DOWN YOUR THROAT!- The lore is entirely optional, and you can enjoy Kirby without understanding any of it. It's perfect!
So he didn't really mention it but the translated lore for Morpho Knight and it's Japanese name being a portmanteau of Valkyrie and Butterfly basically says it's a sort of Harbinger of the end times. A grim reaper of sorts that absorbs the souls of the exceptionally powerful and forges a vessel to bring about Judgement Day.
Basically Kirby fought what you could very well describe as a Kirby-Multiverse Angel of Death.
About Shiver Star, as well as Halcandra, it's possible that when the Science Ancients first arrived in Kirby's universe, they probably terraformed these planets, meaning they took preexisting planets and manicured them to their needs. When they went extinct, it's likely the tech they used to reshape the planets eventually failed, causing them to go back to their original climates.
On "Chaos" and Morpho Knight's possible origins, while it has been implied that Void is the progenitor of Kirby, what if it's also the progenitor of Kirby's species as a whole? That would mean, the pink puff himself, Meta Knight, Galacta Knight, and possibly Morpho Knight if you consider them to be of the same species as the others. It would fit, as Kirby himself is a very chaotic entity that changes forms constantly as he absorbs copy abilities and new powers as the plot demands, so it can be assumed that the others also naturally have the ability to gain new powers.
Adeleine theory: What if she's a clone? While the Science Ancients probably died off because of conflict, it's also possible that they simply couldn't adapt to Kirby's dimension. Maybe magic was toxic to humans because the Forgotten Land itself didn't have magic natively, so they created artificial humans that could live with it, but died off before they could integrate these new humans into their population to spread the magic resisting genes around

You need to react the TH-camr Designing For's Kirby Videos: Marx: Kirby's Calamitous Clown - Designing for Corruption, The Lore of Kirby - Designing for Friendship, The Regal Heart of King Dedede - Designing for Kindnese, and his latest Kirby video, All About Waddle Dee - Designing for Loyalty. Most of them are individual character analysis videos, with the Kirby lore one focusing more on how the lore contributes to the series themes than on just summarizing it like RPGmonger does (also there's this one part of that video that goes really hard). His Dedede is my favorite though. It's just so good. Designing For's content is just so good in general I just want someone to interact with it.
There is theory that BUTTERFLY is basically Harbringer of Death, Angel of Death or just simply DEATH.
'Cause the ones who got consumed by it were two beings long overdue to be in the grave and it came for them "to restore the balance"...
And then there is constantly Death Defying Kirby, Ancient Eldritch God of Good Vibes and Feeling Good'n'Stuff - that just won't die no matter how many times BUTTERFLY tried to consume him (it literally sometimes sits on Kirby and it does NOTHING to Pink Eldritch Puffball where all others get instantly consumed)

Galacta Knight is such a sad but cool character
-Dude was a hero, later feared because of his power
-He got sealed because too strong
-His history and name got forgoten and changed ("Aeon Hero" One of the hero who sealed Void -> "Galacta Knight" The strongest warrior of the galaxy)
-He has been summoned countless times, for challenges or just for his power
-Without counting the times he got sealed again, he was KILLED in a few games (he litteraly explodes)
But he still is summoned, because he is the warrior who transcend space and time
The amound of Galacta Knight is as many as each moment of his existence

But he apeared again
As the "Aeon Hero"
I think we will never see Galacta Knight again, but the thing is: Morpho Knight and the Aeon Hero CAN exist at the same time
There is a theory that the body of Void Termina was actualy a hero too, but Void absobed him (like kirby does) and stole his powers and looks.

If you're interested in more Kirby, I'd HIGHLY recommend "The Regal Heart of King Dedede - Designing For Kindness". It's essentially a character analysis of Dedede and his arc over the entire series from a tyrant to a true hero. I think it serves as a good companion piece to RPG Monger's videos, focusing on the more personal elements of the series rather than the facts of the lore
And these were just general summaries without getting too deep into the in-game plots and excising the games that so far haven't proven too connected to the overall lore like Yarn and Canvas Curse, imagine if Alicia went through something that went in-depth into every game chronologically and the little details and implications and oddities therein. Kirby lore be wild, man. And even this video is slightly outdated now that we had that last new game adding a bit more to Magalor's stuff.

I discovered that the orange butterfly appears in Link's Awakening. I even checked the hex color (yes I am that dedicated to this kind of stuff, Mat Pat style). I believe that it is possible that Link's Awakening from the Legend of Zelda franchise is connected to this. I have found besides the tidbit Kirby references in the game, like the spike balls, I have discovered the orange butterfly (I confirmed it by checking the DX editions color, which is ORANGE), and it has lead me to one conclusion. Koholint was real to some degree in the Kirby verse, or at least the Dream Dimension.... and what happens at the end of the game? Koholint is destroyed....but Link wakes up like it was a dream, even with Malon being reincarnated as a seagull, i.e she died (and butterflies symbolize transformation, in a literal and spiritual sense). I honestly don't know if this is true, but it shakes me to my core. I want to be wrong......

Other lore videos I would enjoy are VaatiVidya’s videos on the lore of Dark Souls and DuckBricks lore videos on Bionicle. Both are really insane and rather dark. Both give me Warhammer vibes at times honestly.

Kirby lore is just one of those unexpected rabbit holes you never really expect, the only one even more insane that I can think of off the top of my head is Mort from Pixar's Madagascar series. That is less of a rabbit hole and more a bottomless abyss owned by the March Hare, and dug by the Joker while he was on some kind of high and binge reading H.P. Lovecraft.
Yep Mort has lore, the best version of that I've have seen is by The Theorizier, fair warning you'll be risking having mental breakdown.

Nintendo localization is a double-edged greatsword, you can get personality stripped from Link giving first-person commentery in BOTW Quest Log to third-person instead; but still get Riku (a Nopon, a fluffball) in Xenoblade 3 to have a deeper voice casting that works for his character type, and Eunie talking tomboyish in Japanese was adapted as a South England unfiltered vibe worked out tremendously. (Xenoblade is localized by Nintendo of Europe/UK)

Interestingly enough, Kirby could be an incantation of Void Termina, but he also could not be. After all, what's Meta Knight? It's been thought they're the same species for basically forever, but we don't really know why Meta Knight acts the way he does or what his larger role is. As for the similarities between Void and Kirby, there are plenty of interviews or details in-game that suggest that the Void imitates it's creations, so merely acted like Kirby because Kirby was there feeding it positive energy, the first thing it saw after rebirth. Not to mention Void is supposedly just one being, so Kirby being the same thing may or may not contradict that we don't actually know. Still, both interpretations are interesting and valid.
Kirby lore can be compared to the emotional responses of say, Dark Souls. It sounds odd I know but looks can be deceiving:
A simple orange winged butterfly is the personification of Death and Judgement.
Kirby and Dark Matter/Void very likely being of the same origin, one born of all the good in the universe and the other everything bad.
The possible origin of the Ancients and their descent into myth and rumours.
I could not do this series's lore justice with my own words, if you want to learn more I highly suggest watching a channel called Meteorz. He has spent years talking about this series.
