The extra kicker for the helmet is that, apparently, some of the helmets ended up growing a deadly (or at least illness-inducing) mold in the terrible padding.
I remember hearing that it was a limited 3rd party version of their regular ones, so apparently it was another company's fault. But I'm not against the idea that it was a shell company for Bethesda to try to start a zombie apocalypse.
@@cutman15 yeah, all of the "bad" helmet were the ones coming from a couple of specific factories that used material they shouldn't have to cut corners, that one was hardly on bethesda, but became a pile on of bad luck
Now compare this to how Sean Murray handled No Man's Sky's failed launch. There's a huge difference between developers that care and developers that don't.
I'd consider it less the fault of the devs and more of the marketing side of things. People always dog on devs but the people making the game itself don't have any control and are given a brief and a deadline and told to do that.
@@Storse I agree. For AAA games like this I'm referring to the dev as Bethesda, since as a company they had the power to set the time tables, the budget, the overhead, the marketing, pretty much everything that goes into making this game work. The actual dev team making this were just cogs in the machine, and don't deserve the flak. Unlike Sean and Hello Games, Bethesda as a company had full control of the project. If time or technology was an issue, they could push the project back, tell the people what's going on, set a date when you know it will be done, and put it out when it's fully finished. But that costs more money and time, and most companies are greedy and just want as much profit as possible as fast as possible, regardless of any long term benefits of doing it right for the benefit of the consumers like us.
@Aliciaxdeath Seeing you still believe Bethesda was gonna somehow clutch...... Was like watching you react to Edgerunners while knowing how it was gonna end
Alicia be like “If you’re dealing with depression and cleaning up your home feels overwhelming, just take it a day at a time. You’ll get through this, you f*cking virgin”
I have a nearly 20 year chronic depression - while I appreciate the sentiment, I've found that the only real solution was to hire a cleaning agency to come by once a month, because I simply cannot handle it longterm. I might be able to take a bit at a time, but inevitably it will just pile up all over again, and I will feel all the worse for failing again. Hiring a professional cleaner has been a huge relief, probably one of the best and healthiest decisions of my life - even if it means cutting back on other things to buy to afford it. If you can't handle it yourself, get help instead of feeling guilty about it - even a one-time cleanup can be a significant boost to your morale, if you can afford it.
Alicia: Makes fun of me for being a virgin. Me: HaHa so true Alicia: Excuses people for having messy rooms because of genuine and serious issues. Me: How dare you!
it’s like those internet hagglers trying to get you to lower prices to absurd amounts by saying “i saw this for x low price elsewhere” like okay, buy it from there then.
Alicia is so pure hearted, feeling anger on behalf of those who had their accounts swapped. Meanwhile I can only recall Pat of the late SBFP going "eh fuck'em, thats what you get for supporting this piece of shit" xD
Yeah, I don't understand why people were surprised. I mean, even if all the code and features were perfect, and the core gameplay loop was going to be the best thing ever... Hackers would ruin it. Mmm, yes, that's what I want. I want Fallout 4 that I can't mod, but where every NPC is hacked to nuke me the second I get even near them. We've already seen Rockstar fail on this front (to the point people lost their accounts to script kiddies). The writing was all over the wall.
30:00 this genuinely made me cry. I've been in a really shitty mental state for the past few months, and I haven't had friends over in a while because I've felt ashamed of the state of my house. I'm scared to ask for help because I feel like my friends will judge and it hurts so much. Thank you for the support. I know it wasn't directed at anyone in particular but thank you.
Hey I hope you’re okay, and I get it. My new job has had me working in this heat wave 10 hours a day 6 days a week and that on top of my unmedicated depression has made me just pass out as soon as I get home. My room looks like hot shit, and I don’t even want to look at the kitchen. But we got this. Little pieces at a time.
Even without help, just cleaning up helps a lot with fixing state of mind. But the trick is to focus on one area or one spot at a time. If needed, the kitchen or bathroom sink first, that way you can clean the recyclables so you can have them taken away separately or take to the center yourself; this will greatly speed up the process of cleaning up.
Regarding the Internet Historian questions: - As far as I've seen, there haven't been any updates on the class action lawsuit. - This video was from long before Covid, actually. Even funnier, Internet Historian eventually did a couple of videos on the pandemic and several of the effects it had, and the toilet paper panic was the first thing he discussed in them.
Alicia is rapidly becoming one of my favorite video commentators of all time with that Uber-expressive model, quick-witted yet adorkable mouth, and the sheer passion she exerts whenever she is pleased or angered by the topic of the day. Keep it up big gal.
I remember when Angry Joe was doing almost weekly segments of this game because of how badly and frequently the game and Bethesda kept f8cking up. It was absolutely hilarious
I remember when Steph covered them all the time because it literally was a scandal a week with these people, it was basically a spiritual successor to the fuck konami series for a while
I remember when Castle Superbeast (or maybe the Bestfriendcast, I forget how many years ago this was) had a "this many week since '76 screwed up" segment.
The "Country Roads" schtick comes from the fact that when the game was announced, the first trailer we got used the song. It was also utilized in just about every bit of promo material, and so you could very easily call it out as being the theme song of the game. Naturally gamers did as they always have done and ramped up their expectations while also denouncing any detractors who would try to limit their expectations of what was being promised, while meming the shit out of everything Fallout in anticipation for the game, so of course Country Roads was looped into that. I. Historian's constant use of the song and variants throughout the video is just superb because it takes all that good will and burns it down in the most sarcastic way possible, which is what the game ultimately deserved on release. I have no idea if it is more playable now. I played for maybe 2-4 hours and just quit.
I tried it last week because it was on sale (10$). It’s meh. I’m probably the wrong audience though as I’m more of a “get into random fights with mobs” player than a “build a camp and micro-manage stuff” one.
It's an actual Fallout game now unlike at release. But after it got better, devs made it worse by introducing seasonal grind objectives which force you to play the game 6h every day if you want to get all the season stuff just by playing. The other option is to use money to skip some or all of the grind. I played it for over 300 hours with friends after the improvements but could not stomach it anymore after couple of these seasons so I just quit.
Well, technically the game is playable most of the time nowadays. But greed has destroyed all the fun you could have had. You still can't create mods. story, lore and environment contradict each other and themselves all the time. And the atom shop blights all game mechanics.
@@hyoryo Is the class war still going on? Did they ever fix those premium features that actually did the opposite of what they should? (Private servers, infinite storage, etc) I genuinely sometimes wonder what happened after I stopped caring about FO news
@@julioc.3158 no they never fixed anything, they only shifted problems back and forth. one patch you needed to convert all your earnings into consumables, another patch you needed to regularly sell consumables because of overweight. as far as i heard premium is as useless as it can get: unlimited storage extends only to crafting components and bullets, everything you gain on private servers is not added to your profile, and on average you can buy one skin every three months from the premium atoms. FO76 is a complete trainwreck, i have little to no hope in beth to ever releasing a fun game again.
Or even good music. Like MGR. THE ONLY THING I KNOW FOR REAL, THERE WILL BE *BLOOD!* *SHED!* The main in the mirror nods his head The only *ONE!* *LEFT!* Will ride upon the Dragon's Back!
There's actually a few more that aren't mentioned in the video: 1. The game came with a BETA test in order to "fix the game at launch" (they didn't. It was just as buggy) 2. The Game Stop version of the power armor helmet had toxic chemicals in it that got recalled because it would poison people. 3. The game launched with ZERO HUMAN NPCS. Also, the game DID get updated for free, but it was kinda too late. They added a battle Royale mode (wet fart) and then later added human NPCs (Finally, but damage was already done.) By now, the game is fine at best, but still widely accepted as being very boring.
The crazy part is, there's a lot more stuff that Internet Historian didn't get around to mentioning here, even at the time of his video's release. After his video released, even more stuff happened as well. It's insane how incompetent Bethesda is, and it's even more insane how there are still lots of people who trust them.
Yeah, I went through many waves of disappointment over the years from Bungie leaving Halo, losing trust in Bethesda, breaking away from Blizzard, etc. Each year now I find myself playing a higher ratio of indie games.
Crazy how triple A studio fucked up a launch and couldn't fix it despite a small team like Hello Games fixing AND improving their shit after also fucking up their big launch. Really shows the contrasts between small companies working really fucking hard to just make it somewhat and triple A's going "ah fuck it they'll buy it regardless!"
it doesn't help that bethesda's hgher ups acted really shitty here too, carelessly punshing anyone they deemed to have 'done a naughty' withut bothering to see if thy itndned to do anythign bad or even HAD done anythign wrong, giving people peanuts in comparison to the crap they spent money on and generally acting like snotty shits
Every time I see someone reacting to this video, which is always fun as I consider this IHs best work so far, I am sad that no one reacts to "The enemy AI is far more A than I" with how I expect it. I laughed my ass off at this sentence due to how he delivered it. Granted everyone has a different type of humor but come on yall making me feel like the weird one xD
@@ecyor0 have to see the last part yet, but the guy has been slacking. there are multiple point where he went for a "good enough, there's video to be done" rather than doing analisys. still correct on a 75-80% range, but not the gospel on the matter
Same here, stuff just kept going more and more wrong. I just started to think I no longer would be surprised if something fucked up, but loh and behold, they continuously found ways to still surprise. At least this has resulted in a great deal of amusement.
Fun Fact for Alicia: Fallout 76 didn't have any human NPCs in the world (outside of the broke enemies you find), quests or much of a main plot til April 14th of 2020. Just a bit over 2 years of incompetence til they added (sorta) functional life to this mmo they waffle stomped into existence
@@Sovek86 Actually, for me personally, even though I knew they were going ass-backwards into idiocy, the idea of an MMO with no NPCs actually got my imagination going. I started thinking about how it would work if there was an MMO where players could give each other quests and run their own shops and, like, the things beta testers do while testing would be used to make the lore of the game and shiz.
Well, the no NPC's thing was intentional since the idea was that players would be populating a completely destroyed world. It seemed like a pretty interesting idea, but in practice, it just became boring.
"I really thought that there would be a turning point..." But there WAS a turning point. Several of them, even. It's just that they were all turns FOR THE WORSE.

friend of mine was all over this game since the beta. he had an explosive shotgun that survived the early purge of hacked/duped items. he loved that weapon. one day it was just gone.. he stopped playing. this year, he found out that his son had stolen it then lied about it for years. he was so pissed! he wanted to punish his son, but wife wanted leniency... he settled for sneaking on son's account and giving it back to himself & playing dumb when son freaked out about losing his best (stolen) weapon.
If that happened to me I would just go in my son's room every single day when he was playing his games and just turn off whatever he's playing If it meant unplugging it from the wall Or turn the power off.
The sad/funny part is there was so much continued drama and issues for a few months after the release of that video that plenty of us were waiting for Internet Historian to do a Part 2 to this video. Like some noted, there was a standalone sale of the Power Helmet that contained mold and needed to be recalled. The game started selling 100+ dollar subscriptions allowing you to play private servers, said private servers were not private servers but recycled public servers, meaning that anytime you logged out, everything you left behind would get ransacked by strangers. And the private servers weren't even private to begin with even when you were logged in, allowing randoms and friends to come uninvited into your private sever. Honestly it's been years so I have forgotten a lot of the details. But basically, the community that played Fallout76 were eventually recognized as very supportive, but they were effectively stockholm syndromed copium filled players who were their own support system within a game that was continuously being more aggressive against them.
There were things that happened after this video was made. One big one was a personal robot that was suppose to clean your base and be in the game fro free at launch. However they forgot to put it in and told players 6 months later that they were putting it in the game….however now they wanted you to pay more cash for it. The other big one was some player was using a glitch to harm other players. So a group of data miner friends decided to figure out how he was doing it. These guys had created an interactive map of Fallout 76 showing where everything they found was and had it online for free. So they spent awhile finding out exactly how the glitch worked and after piling their research they sent it to Bathesda saying what it was, how it was done, and how to fix it. What was Bethesda’s response…..they perm banned them for using the glitch instead of thanking them. The guy that was actually using it to harm others was given a 3 day ban while theirs was perm ban, Bathesda claimed it was because he only used it a couple times while they had attempted it hundreds of times. The data miners have ere so angry that they took down the free interactive map.
Jedi: Survivor is actually very good, it has performance issues which is probably how you know it due to that publication. The story and gameplay outside of those few performance issues though, you can tell so much love was put into it.
I must have been lucky because I hear about all the issues people had with the game, but I didn't have any at all and I loved it. I wasn't on the internet while I was playing it and was shocked to hear everyone complaining.
@@uh8myzenSame, I’m glad that as the days go by, people enjoy it more and more and the performance issues are being ironed out. But for the people who aren’t fans, they’ll always think of the game as a bug-filled sh*t show. That just makes me sad. It’s a shame these kinda of things happen.

@@anthonyrodriguez9232 Don’t even start with that philosophy shit, you should know damn well that this is in no way the developers faults. It’s the publishers that forced the game to release in such a state.

The Nuka Dark is EASILY my favorite part of this whole story. The fact that the cheap option was somehow twice as expensive as the nice option, AND THEY STILL DECIDED TO GO CHEAP REGARDLESS OF THAT, is so funny to me
Still early in the video, but just had to comment: Seeing Alicia go as buggy as Fallout 76 upon seeing the tight booties on screen - to the point where she had to completely factory reset to remember what she was talking about - is perhaps not the single most unquestionably relatable moment I've ever had with a Vtuber, but it certainly earned a high spot on the list. So happy to see you react to this one, especially after having watched the No Man's Sky video for comparison. It really makes you appreciate just how genuine and passionate the team was about that game despite all the crap that went wrong, and reinforces WHY they've become so respected in the gaming community. Especially with how they didn't even hold updates and DLC behind a paywall, even when we're looking at updates that a lot of companies would have been charging easily $10-20+ for.
Yeah, this was only really the tip of the iceberg. With everything else that happened, Internet Historian could likely create another two videos of this length and quality. Also, about the Christmas "emotes" scandal. I distinctly remember a video about this situation and how the emotes you were buying weren't actually emotes, and I believe it showed that the emotes were exactly the same as the base ones. You were essentially paying $12 for Christmas themed cosmetics for the GIFs that floated above your character when doing the emote.
this, there were some particle effect (that may or may not activate due to other stuff going on in the area), but all but 2 of those were the basic animation with a different signal showing. I remember that review of the Nuka Cola Dark drink, I recall that they summed up the flavor being similar to straight up drinking vanilla extract and coconut juice with rubbing alcohol. The dumber thing in this regard, they did have bottles of Nuka Cola that went to journalists and were even available during E3 when they were showing off Fallout 3. It was with actual glass and was kinda okay, but it was still something you can drink.
Let's be honest. Coca Cola? Might as well say thats the actual flavor of basic Nuka as is. Because I don't wanna bother with whatever recipe the actual NC is
No Man's Sky got a huge update like less than a week ago, with the Singularity Update On that note, would be nice if you could stream yourself playing the new Expedition (Expeditions are limited time events that take you through certain (usually new) mechanics of the game, they happen a few times an year, with exclusive in-game rewards, with the current expedition ending early next month) Each expedition so far has only repeated once, at the end of year with slightly decreased difficulty and duration, so there's a little bit of FOMO involved, but it's a one-time purchase game, with no micro-transactions at all, and expeditions can be finished in about 10 hours of play-time, so playing it for 30 minutes a day can easily let you finish in time (New players might take slightly longer) Even if the Expedition is not something you wanna do, it would still be nice to watch you play the normal version of No Man's Sky
thanks so much for the super comment. It would be sick to check out no man's sky especially after watching the video about it's development. I'm so curious to check it out for myself
Anyone who know fallout knows nuka cola is based on coca cola. But the bottle is in the style of a rocket. Meaning it is GLASS. It's been glass since Fallout 3. and in the nuka world dlc for 4, the extra flavors INCLUDING dark, they're all in either clear glass or FROSTED GLASS. odd enough dark was clear glass but full black drink. So them making a cheap shell over a cheapglass bottlw is so discusting.

Something that wasn't mentioned in this video is that the power armor helmet that comes with the power armor edition became moldy really quickly because of how it was designed. You know, the one you're supposed to wear over your face. Bet that was a fun discovery.
Iirc, that was actually a different power armor helmet, I think it was a gamestop special, either preorder bonus or special edition, don't remember the details.
@@dante_0962 someone answered this question in a different post. The toy soldiers barely looked like anything from the Fallout series and looked and felt cheap. Like they came from a dollar store or something. Which sucks because they made high quality minis for the Fallout TTRPG series.
The thing about skin prices is that everyone tries to slowly bump up the pricing. Valorant is $20 and diablo iv is $25, but those might not have been so egregious if fallout 76 hadn’t tried $18 skin prices

Unstoppable Moron Makes Nuclear Wasteland Noticeably Worse| Fallout New Vegas, by TheRussianbadger also, if you're an empath, you can play that in 76. There's a mutation that makes it so you take more damage, but everyone else in your party takes less damage. As for game prices. 12:00 I remember that when SNK were developing King of Fighters 15, they announced a delay to the game. Pushed it back from late 2021 to Early 2022. Predictably, people weren't happy. The instant the developers said that it was so they could implement Rollback Netcode (which is apparently the community preferred setup for online multiplayer), a lot of the fury died down. Just goes to show that if you're open with why you're delaying a game, it can really help build trust.
Probably should have said it before, but the chief reason I watch your videos is the pausing Andy thing. You are the first reviewer I've seen who consistently sees and highlights things I never considered or thought about in media you watch. You always offer fresh perspective that enhances the media.
Absolutely agree. It's shameful that reactionary channels, most of which WITHOUT any form of commentary, tend to get more views and are rewarded for a minimal amount of effort compared to the content they are "reacting" to. The very least that a reaction channel should do is actually have a perspective to offer, and I appreciate Alicia wholeheartedly for putting in that extra effort. And being so hecking charming whilst doing it.
Actual transformative content. Instead of "waat? That's crazy. . . (Quickly tabs off of the channel plug)" she actually drops in with her own whole stories AND gives proper channel credit
12:24 most of these developers dont choose when they release. Their owners (Sony, Microsoft, EA, etc) put pressure on them to launch ASAP and add microtransactions.
I'm glad your reaction content is transformative and you don't just sniperwolf. It's like watching a movie with a friend instead of sitting at home alone and rewatching a vid. You and Krakenfall are two of my top fav reactors cause you'll pause and analyze.
29:50 my room looks worse. It looked even worse a few weeks ago, but then I started doing exactly as what was said (kind of, at the time I could only manage one-two full sized garbage bags one day each week, my anxiety over starting was that bad). Thanks for reacting to this one! Was looking forward to it :p I remember expecting the game to be bad before it came out, because Bethesda usually releases buggy games that their fanbase has to fix with unofficial patches and an MMO cant do that. I didnt expect it to be THIS bad. Especially not this consistently. As an aside, why the hell did they even put the devroom in the game? You dont need one in an MMO.
My brother bought the game for both if us, as it released near our birthdays. He even got himself the special edition. I don't think he has ever been the same. On suggestions, IH has yet another channel called Storymode where he goes through the plot of video games you might enjoy, since they are the same energy and have the ad time we have come to enjoy. Highly recommended!
Seeing this again I only now realize how much it must've sucked for the person that lost the level 78 account because I have a level 75 character and 180 hours in the game
12:00 I hear you, but the investors/execs are more on the side of "if we release a shitty game that makes $15M every year for 3 years, it's better than releasing a banger game that takes 3 years to make and polish and makes $30M." Pure numbers say no, and that's all those knuckleheads understand.
I mean . . . for a good portion and then the story just sort of like "Oh you sequence broke? . . . Uh oh." And save often when you're in the Lower City. BG3 I love you, but goddamn do you sometimes just UGH
I’m not sure if ya do these kinds of suggestions, but I’d like to see more people react to the Sabaton/Yarnhub animated story videos, especially “The First Soldier” about Albert Serevin Roche) and “Lady of the Dark” (about Milunka Savic). The videos give absolutely awesome info on the stories of forgotten war heroes
Nice to see more Internet Historian, and one of my favorites at that! I posted this before on another video but if you ever want to take a look at the humorous animated history side of youtube then you might like Overly Sarcastic Productions, SideQuest, Extra History, History Matters, or the very popular Oversimplified. Tbf when you mentioned crunch, it reminded me of a Miyamoto quote. "A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever." I think that it has largely been part of Nintendo's prerogative since even before Iwata's passing.
this, aside from pokemon, which is a matrioska of dirigential meddling and overriding directors, all nintendo first part releases has tried to be as close a possible to full vision as they get, and actually using the first-day-patch as a bug-fixing tool rather than as extra development
Notable exceptions coming to mind: Duke Nukem Forever, and Star Citizen. Evidence that yes, while delaying by a year or two if necessary is always a good idea, ending up stuck into a development hell where you end up remaking stuff over and over, is just as bad as rushing the game. Or in other words, as for everything in life, balance is the key: don't rush, but don't take forever either.
Pausing and commenting on the video is the proper way to transform it. Do not copy twitch streamers who just sit and watch entire videos without pausing or commenting, they're not transforming it, it's essentially just stealing. They're making use of the nonexistent copyright ID detection system on twitch. It will come to bite them in the ass eventually, but either way the way you're doing it is correct. The pausing Andy meme is as stupid as the people who meme'd it into existence.

Now compare this to how Sean Murray handled No Man's Sky's failed launch.
There's a huge difference between developers that care and developers that don't.
I rant so hard about that at the end of this video haha

I know this is a year later but I really hope you're doing well ❤

Sounds like WoW.

HM you are3 so wrong player count has grown and the game is good now hi from the future your comment aged like milk.

On that note, would be nice if you could stream yourself playing the new Expedition (Expeditions are limited time events that take you through certain (usually new) mechanics of the game, they happen a few times an year, with exclusive in-game rewards, with the current expedition ending early next month)
Each expedition so far has only repeated once, at the end of year with slightly decreased difficulty and duration, so there's a little bit of FOMO involved, but it's a one-time purchase game, with no micro-transactions at all, and expeditions can be finished in about 10 hours of play-time, so playing it for 30 minutes a day can easily let you finish in time (New players might take slightly longer)
Even if the Expedition is not something you wanna do, it would still be nice to watch you play the normal version of No Man's Sky

As for game prices. Yeah, it's fine if they are priced to make their money with the product, but part of the big issue was 'hey, we paid for a collectors edition, didn't get what we paid for, and the game went on sale almost a week after release.'
43:58 Skyrim Gamer Poop moment. Those, get weird, and raunchy. They're also short.
"But this is Bethesda!"
Yes Alicia, *that's exactly the problem.*
true 😆
Time to watch 76 crumble all over again!
It never gets old.
I never played it, but I got so much entertainment out of keeping up with the news surrounding the release and subsequent parade of failure.
Seeing Alicia laugh at the little gamerpoop skyrim clips makes me want her to react to them, such classics of internet
Looks better than it did but I still have a ways to go Thanks for the words of encouragement!
It's wonderful watching you slowly appreciate Bethesda's wild incompetence on this project in almost every conceivable front.
Gamer words indeed.
BREATHE ALICIA BREATHE. It's OK, mean Tod cannot hurt you anymore
Thanks for reacting to this one! Was looking forward to it :p
I remember expecting the game to be bad before it came out, because Bethesda usually releases buggy games that their fanbase has to fix with unofficial patches and an MMO cant do that.
I didnt expect it to be THIS bad. Especially not this consistently.
As an aside, why the hell did they even put the devroom in the game? You dont need one in an MMO.
bruh i was not expecting an off the cuff therapy session nothing i havent heard before but its very appeaciated
"i will only virgin shame you once per week"
me using every last single bit of my strenght to not cancer-shame alicia once per week
Damn, dawg. It's like she came at you with a knife, then you pulled out the close-air-support attack helicopter.
Bro wtf
and there's me laughing while mortal-shaming everyone once per week
fight fire with nuclear bomb
12:00 I hear you, but the investors/execs are more on the side of "if we release a shitty game that makes $15M every year for 3 years, it's better than releasing a banger game that takes 3 years to make and polish and makes $30M." Pure numbers say no, and that's all those knuckleheads understand.
Her points about putting out a complete game without major bugs will result in great sales is extra on point after Baldurs Gate 3 came out
I mean . . . for a good portion and then the story just sort of like "Oh you sequence broke? . . . Uh oh."
And save often when you're in the Lower City.
BG3 I love you, but goddamn do you sometimes just UGH
Love the way Alicia just drops her thought when butts appeared on screen.
They're all really good and really interesting to watch.
I second all of these and add "the history of japan I guess" by Bill something. It's insane and crazy accurate
37:40 - 37:45
I've never seen a vtuber have a more 'disbelief' expression before.
Alicia's comment on the "apology essay" is by far the most sound explanation I've ever heard 😂😂😂
I was more hyped for this reaction than the game! Thanks alicia! Youre the best ❤
:D omg thank you so much! Thanks for checking out the video so soon after I uploaded it
Tbf when you mentioned crunch, it reminded me of a Miyamoto quote.
The pausing Andy meme is as stupid as the people who meme'd it into existence.
this is such a MASSIVE W of a comment. I appreciate you
@@aliciaxdeath The reason I am coming to reaction videos like yours, is to see a creator I respect experience something I enjoy and have their own take on it. The more someone has to add, the better.
@@aliciaxdeath proper transforming of content aside, I like listening to your commentary on several levels. You offer a lot of insight and I find you very relatable as a gamer. Extra points for being a part of the FGC. Mad respect.
Anything preceding the word "-Andy" is something any normal person has no problem with
“Where did they go wrong?”
Oh you sweet summer child just you wait
This is why Nintendo delayed Tears of the Kingdom for over a year just to polish their game
Gollum WAS delayed a year, lol
LMAOOO AH HELL NAW! and it still ass lolool
@@aliciaxdeath Really makes you wonder what it was like before! Something so terrible even *they* delayed it, and then released it like this, haha.
Very happy to see this reaction, but I really hope overly-excited fans don’t put you off IH for good. He is one of the best, but I am also looking forward to the reactions to other awesome content creators this platform has to offer.
:D naw everyone is super supportive so I don't feel pressured or anything. I'm just having a good time and recording what I feel like. So we all good. Thanks for caring
@@aliciaxdeath as long you don't skip the ads they may be happy
THANK YOU! Every time i rewatch this that line "i shaaaaved everything off my face" bugs me for so many reasons, one of which being the fact that he Didn't! He still has a mustache and beard so his face is not even remotely shaved.
Fallout 76 and No Man's Sky are basically stories with the same premise.
No Man's Sky is the story with the Good Ending.
This is the story with the Bad Ending.
uuugh, that trashy room moment was so sweet. I didn't know I needed to hear that today. Thank you.
God I love the reactions to Internet Historian! Definitely once you cover most of the main channel start into Incognito Mode (his 2nd channel). Also another great channel to react to is Michael Reeves he’s a robotics/ programmer/engineer that uses his skills to create the most absurd and cursed things and he’s absolutely hilarious with great editing. A great start with him is either I Built a Laser Baby, I Built a Surgery Robot, I Taught my Gold Fish to Trade Stocks or Teaching a Robot Dog to Pee Beer
Or even his 3rd channel "Storymode"
I feel like they hired a consultant and did the exact opposite of what the person said. The consultant could've made a fortune though lol
Your rant at the end is Exactly why we all wanted to see this video so badly! And you did not disappoint 😁❤
Fallout 76 and No Mans Sky are the Yin and Yang of Internet Historians videos, and with your history with the industry, we knew youd appreciate both
32:50 shockingly expressive mouth movements! nice!
The biggest "Oh wow she's really never played a fallout game" was when she said "It's Bethesda!!!" as if that means something LOL and I'm just talking about the bugs.
A fantastic series to watch would be OverlySarcasticProduction's (OSP) A journey to the west. Fantastic animation, funny retelling of a classic, and it shows how the artstyle evolved, considering they release 1 episode a year of this
Seconded. OSP is truly excellent.
honestly most OSP vids are worth a watch ^^
Only 13 mins in and already love you, your style and what you have to say! Strait up facts. Keep up the grind.
:D thanks and welcome to the channel!’
@@aliciaxdeath thank you!
This video makes me REALLY happy to be a Zelda fan.
I don't care about most Nintendo properties but pokemon
Apparently they said they spent the whole last year of development on Tears of the Kingdom JUST polishing the game, and it really shows. Especially in a game so physics-heavy it really needs it
@@DominatorElite4 oh I’m so sorry.
@@ExaltedUriel imagine an alternate universe where that’s industry standard.
The funniest part is that the same people who got sucked in by this game will pre order the next bethesda game and go through it again
"That was probably pretty dumb, huh?"
