I had a complete hysterectomy on Wednesday because of a large uterus, and one large fibroid,. The plan has been to laparoscopic , but when the doctor got in there, she noticed that the uterus was double in size of what she had seen in the scan. So she had to do a C-section. My first. Today’s were very rough. Today’s a third day. I am sore and just scared to move almost because I don’t want anything to happen to The incision site that are still feel so numb, but the pain is inside.
I’m day 3 post op. Had a TLH + BS and I’m feeling pretty sore. The gas pains are real. Haven’t taken any norco, ibuprofen feels sufficient for my pain.
Did you take any Scentsy to the hospital? What did you decide on warming when you came home? I was hoping your first thought out of surgery would be to ask the staff if they want Scentsy...lol glad everything went well. Merry Christmas.
You look great but seriously, please rest. I tried to do too much after my hysterectomy and paid for it later. It's hard when you are used to doing so much. Merry Christmas to you and to Nurse Shawn.
Just listening to this with my headset while working from home 😂 my 🧠 literally pictured a cartoon figure giving a pep talk to a bladder 😂 glad you are doing well.
Why can I not find any stories on vaginal partial hysto?! I'm watching every hysto story I can find to try to figure out what to expect and what I will need afterward and I feel like no one has had a vaginal hysto, I know that the vaginal procedure is fairly new but dang, am I the only one that's going this direction? Lol My best friend is going for her partial hysto October 4th but they are doing it by abdomen. My dr chose vaginal for me because I'm having a gallbladder removal during my hysto procedure and she doesn't want me to have 6 or so incisions in total. She also said vaginal is a quicker and easier recovery.
You had it easy. I was in the hospital two days. It could be because I hemridge but I was up and walking soon I came back my room because I couldn’t lay down. I walked the whole hospital but I had a catheter in but they never took it out until late the second day. But it was crazy I drove myself to the hospital and my mom came with but she left my car with me. So I went off my pain meds the second day That much and I didn’t have a belly binder

Good to hear everything went well hope you get better soon have a nice xmas
I had a complete hysterectomy on Wednesday because of a large uterus, and one large fibroid,. The plan has been to laparoscopic , but when the doctor got in there, she noticed that the uterus was double in size of what she had seen in the scan. So she had to do a C-section. My first. Today’s were very rough. Today’s a third day. I am sore and just scared to move almost because I don’t want anything to happen to The incision site that are still feel so numb, but the pain is inside.
Speedy recovery Lisa.
I’m day 3 post op. Had a TLH + BS and I’m feeling pretty sore. The gas pains are real. Haven’t taken any norco, ibuprofen feels sufficient for my pain.
So glad your surgery went well.
Did you take any Scentsy to the hospital? What did you decide on warming when you came home? I was hoping your first thought out of surgery would be to ask the staff if they want Scentsy...lol glad everything went well. Merry Christmas.
You seriously need to take it easy and no lifting. Let people wait on you.
Oh Please🙏 why you didn't talked about the most important thing which is the first shower and how your bands get wet or what you did about that?!!!! 😭
Yay for a successful surgery! Glad you are on the mend!
You look great but seriously, please rest. I tried to do too much after my hysterectomy and paid for it later. It's hard when you are used to doing so much. Merry Christmas to you and to Nurse Shawn.
Yes I promise I am resting. Trying to remember that even though I feel decent, I still need to rest and recover. Merry Christmas! Xoxoxo
Hi I just had Surgery yesterday on August 16, 2022 I wanted to know what is the belly binder? By the way you look amazing!
I can't believe you went out to eat...I wasn't up to that the 2nd day
Yay I'm so glad you did well!! You look great! Not that you don't always lol. I love like ish after surgery. 😊
Just listening to this with my headset while working from home 😂 my 🧠 literally pictured a cartoon figure giving a pep talk to a bladder 😂 glad you are doing well.
All the very best ❤️
🌞🎊💛☺🎉✨ so glad you are doing well...!!its such a relief💝
Merry xmas to you and your family🌲
So glad your doing better
Why can I not find any stories on vaginal partial hysto?! I'm watching every hysto story I can find to try to figure out what to expect and what I will need afterward and I feel like no one has had a vaginal hysto, I know that the vaginal procedure is fairly new but dang, am I the only one that's going this direction? Lol
My best friend is going for her partial hysto October 4th but they are doing it by abdomen.
Hi Lisa, I'm going into surgery soon on Monday 4th July 2022, they told me I'll be in hospital overnight, may I ask how long u were in hospital for, what did u do to recovery time an how much pain were u in? Talk again after my surgery. Cheers Tan
My belly binder helped me when I had my c section.
Merry Christmas to you all
What belly band did you use? I will be having surgery in 3 weeks
You had no jaw bruises. Both sides of my jaws are sore & bruised. Today was 1 week.
Were the belly binder and wedge pillow given to you at the hospital?
How was your experience and reaction to general anesthesia, did you have a sore throat? Please advise. Tks
I just got hysterectomy 2 days ago, I came home with catheter and have to keep it in for 10days because surgeon accidentally put a hole in my bladder. I have not passed gas yet or had a bm
@Ann Clark how are you doing? Are there any side effects?
@@pokipoki493 I got catheter taken out today and I feel much better
How are you doing? Have you experienced any body changes or weight gain after your hysterectomy?
My pre op call is October 17th and surgery for partial hysto and gallbladder removal is October 24th. I have seen in several other videos that some ladies said they had to do a 3 day liquid type cleanse before surgery. Did you have to do a liquid cleanse?
I go in the morning for mine. Have to remove a 19cm cyst also and they are leaving one ovary hopefully depending on scarring.
Sending you all the good vibes your way!! You will feel sooooo much better when it's all done and over with!
@@LisaRowberry thank you! They took everything but my right ovary and the cyst came back benign! It weighed 7 pounds they took out 3 liters of fluid.
I had gas pains when I made my c section and that was painful. They said not too eat anything spicy which I did and I regretted it
Gas pains are really bad 😖
“I’m ok!!” 😆
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
Hi, what did you eat prior and after surgery?
