Some very interesting patterns that I would make, especially the pinafore. Another packed vlog and will look forward to your underwear sew along. You always come up with something different. We have a Victoria plum tree in our garden too and like you I make crumbles, but not many fruit this year due to the poor weather.
Thanks Susan, glad you found something that you like! Our plum tree has done really well this year, I think I'll be making jam to use them all up - or wine maybe 🤔
Great information. I have made the Sinclair Valley knit skater dress which is also a free pattern, as my Frugal Frock. I am super impressed with the pattern fit and instructions. I love the tall files too. Megan Neilsen's free Acacia underwear pattern is also fantastic.
I havent sewn a thing all August, it's been too hot here in Toronto, I'm all done with summer thank you lol. Got the Linnea and peppermint mag pinafor in my queue for September sewing, yay for Autumn!
@@cherylp.3347 lol, but in the winter you can always put on more layers if you're cold. In the summer you can only get naked and it's weird to sew naked.🤣
Thanks for some great picks once again Sam, I’m hoping for more summer too because I’ve cut out a few summer garments that I’ve not been up to sewing together yet 😳 I wonder if Mood quote the fabric requirements for the largest size as in ‘up to’? Funderwear? Come on everyone, enter your drawers into the draw!
Yes I think you're right about Mood Rhondda, that & they're a fabric shop too 😉 Ha ha I like your strapline for Funderwear 🤣 I'm hoping for more summer too - ever the optimist! me
Great review as always and Thank you. I'm wondering if there could be a zipper put in instead of all those buttons on the pinafore? I don't think it would be to hard.
I’d love to get involved in the dress a girl project. Also looking forward to your underwear patterns video. I tend to stick to the Megan Neil sent ones but I wish I could find one that’s like sloggi knickers ie with a back seam rather than side seams.

Just remember how long, long, long those Canadian winters are, you’ll soon be in the mood again. 😁

I’m sure it can, with maybe a button or hook & eye at the top, similar to the Madeleine by victory patterns

I'll have a look for a Sloggi alternative Kate, not sure that I've seen one but you never know!
