Hi Sam, I couldn’t get in to the Duchess & Hare website. I have a 2 year old granddaughter an was looking forward to the free dress patterns. I tried several different Internet programs, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Bummer. Great video. Thanks.

One of my go to cardigans is the free cardigan from Swoon Patterns-however, I have made the front waterfall collar section wider and have made it with both the points and with even hem The cardigan I want to try is the new Mood Sewciety Garnet Cardigan which looks like it would be best in a heavier fabric
Yes, I printed off the garnet because the pleats on the cuffs and around the hem are something really different. They recommend bamboo, merino wool, french terry or soft fleece but I think a lighter weight sweatshirting would work too and I’ve got a sweater knit that’d be just the job. Thanks for the reminder because I forgot I have it!
Some great patterns that are definitely new to me Sam, you’ve really done your homework once again! I love Joe Browns clothing and have bought a lot from them over the years, I’m sure that’s where my love of colour blocking has come from. Edit: The Duchess and hare website says it’s opening soon? There's so many pattern designers out there Mari - so won't be running out of free patterns anytime soon I don't think, although every Wednesday I think I don't have enough to talk about & every Friday I regret doing so much research because of all the editing I have to do!! Re the hoodie, I'm pretty sure that it's because it's an A0 pattern but I think I'm going to see if I can get it printed at work to check 🤗
Hi Sam, thanks so much for that. I think the first cardy looks like fun, but I would need to see the size chart, as the Small (if it is US 6-8) would be too big for me… I know I fit a US 4 (UK8). The hoodie would be a bit of a challenge for me with the zip, but very useful! I just finished my first cardy in a lovely recycled cotton knit- the Bertha Cardigan (Tilly ) - no closures so it was easy, and it has been SO useful! I want to rewatch the video where you show your method of doing gathering with elastic as I am about to do some on a dress. I should be able to find it🤣 love your videos!💕

I love the look of the Lagan coat but I’ve never made a lined coat so I could find it a bit of a challenge. It would keep me busy for quite a while though 😉
It will be a longer process but Itch to Stitch has excellent instructions. Karina of Lifting pins and needles is doing a series of sewalongs on this coat. She explains things really well and in great detail. So if you want to learn how to make and line a coat this could be a good one. 💕

I'm so mad at myself months and months ago you had a pattern for a mod style top that had a fold down into a facing neck thing.. it was bright yellow and I thought I saved it for fall....I can't find it...do you recall it?

Unfortunately, it looks like the Duchess and Hare website has gone members only, as you have to enter a password to get into the site, and when you enter your email, it just says we'll contact you when the website goes live. Even the link you provided goes straight to the page to register. :-/
