  • What is Causing Your Shoulder Pain? Shoulder Instability? How to Tell.
Shoulder instability is an unstable shoulder. Your shoulder is made up of bones that form a ball and socket. When you have an unstable shoulder the ball of the shoulder is not staying within the socket. Could shoulder instability be the root cause of your shoulder pain? In this program video Bob and Brad discuss everything you need to know about shoulder instability and the effect it has on the body.

I'm hypermobile in my joints. I've fully dislocated my left shoulder like 8-9 times. Luckily it hasn't happened since having labral repair surgery on it. But now I'm having issues with my right shoulder as well . Trying to do some strengthening as they said, but to say that I'm "apprehensive" towards certain movements is an understatement at this point. This series could not have come at a better time. Thank you gentlemen.

Fifteen years ago I accidentally found out that I could halfway pull out my arms from the shoulders and then locate them back. Was just wondering about this again recently, and now I got recommended this video!

Oh I wish I saw this three years ago!! A seemingly minor FOSH caused a cascade of issues, which included a PT stretching my posterior capsule. All resulted in MDI and reoccurring subluxations before being identified as hypermobile. One surgery (posterior capsule shift) and an hEDS diagnosis later I’m trying to put off a second surgery by working on strengthening.

I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - it took me FOREVER to stabilize my shoulders, I had to do lots of strengthening exercises to build up the muscles around it

Hey guys 🖐🏻 I broke my elbow in January, and then everything happened in March, and my other health issues has me on lockdown since! My broken arm has of course healed, but it still has pain now and then. Was curious if you had any ideas on excercises I can do to help that? Thanks so much. 😎

Hi Bob and Brad, any advice for someone with calcific tendinitis in the supraspinatus? I've been doing banded (supinated) pull aparts, face pulls, dislocations, seated rows and pull ups for the past month as per my PT, but have seen no results. The only thing that gives me a tiny bit of relief is the percussion massager, but after a few hours the pain is back to 100% =[ advil had no effect either

Thank you so much for spreading awareness of hypermobility. I watched your pod cast recently with Jeannie Di Bon. I have now been diagnosed with hEDS and also have shoulder instability. I'm now having physio for this and much more. I had no idea that it was subluxing until watching one of your video's.
