Amazing because he 'knows' the depth of those words of Sarah, because 'God knows the broken hearted'... ♥️

Yes!!! me too!!! You can feel how sensible he is to the prayer to our Almighty, I think he has in a very strong the Image of Sarah as well the image of Tobit praying to look up to God.
We need to get back in our own hearts this kind of faith and sensibility in our Lord.
May God bless you!!! Warm regards from Mexico

Dr. Bergsma: Your weekly meditations have helped me bring a dear friend, who is a Business School Professor with a Ph.D., back from Protestantism to Catholic Christianity. He will soon join the Graduate Business Faculty of the University of Navarra in Spain - Opus Dei. GOD BLESS YOU!!! (Numbers 6:24-26).

God brought me low, so I could reject the world so thoroughly that I could hear his call. Lost so much, but gained so much, and being repaired every day. I can't get everyone or everything back, but I gained God. This lesson makes me feel so much.

Wow... Felt your emotions there Professor (or as in India, we would address you, "Sir"). How the Word comes so much alive when it reveals not only the wonders of God in history but also how it has the potential to impact our lives or it may have played out exactly like how it did in the pages of scripture. Thank you Dr. John for showing your vulnerable side to us... May the Lord continue to shower His blessings on you, your family and all those at the Center.

Providentially, God permitted the evidence of this touching book of Tobit, Tobias, Sarah, and Raphael to be found (not in Greek) but in the original language among the Dead Sea Scrolls 📜 ... immediately disproving the 5 century old basis for the Protestant canon. But that said, who doesn't love Dr JB when he is teaching/sharing...

Dr. Bergsma, just said a prayer for you. It seemed as though the passage spoke to something personal.
I do have a question. Is Tobias a type of Christ? Is Jesus the New Tobias who comes to wed humanity tormented by sin and redeem us from evil?

Everytime a Catholic calls Protestants "brethren", this implies, at least implicitly, that the Protestant doctrine is "alright".
Since we know this is not true and that no Protestant can be saved outside the Catholic Church (this is dogma), I think we should choose our words better.
By calling them "brethren", we are implying they're ok being Protestants. This is false and just shows human respect. Letting them stay in their Errors is a grave sin against Charity.
Errors have no right. And recall we'll all be judged by every single word we say.

@@whitevortex8323 I don't recall we call the muslims "brethren". And, like protestants, they are also in error. I insist we should pick our words better.
