As Dr. Sproul taught this wonderful lecture, my mind was captured, within the moment, like a magnificent piece of art with a mesmerising view, my eyes were opened. I LOVE the way Sproul tells stories during his lectures for the sake of deeper understanding or to give a clarification or emphasis for his students and listeners regarding the points he states. He was truly gifted in the art of teaching, a rare combination of teaching along with storytelling and other qualities. To me, he definitely stands out as one of the BEST. It's Like the Beauty of Poetry and Art!
I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to hear Dr. Sproul bring this great teaching of the Holiness of God in such a clear way for us to understand deeper His Holiness and the impact that brings to our lives. I am so thankful for Dr. Sproul’s teachings Praise God 🙏🏼
A true pastor of God's word must tell the whole bad news before proclaiming all the Good News, The Gospel, that only Jesus Christ saves sinners that everyone is. Thank You Lord Jesus Christ
many pastors are unknown to God. A pastor without unction ( the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon a sermon so that something holy and powerful is added to the message that no preacher can generate, no matter how great his skills.) is just a religious speaker.
I stopped going to church for years ago when I realized that I could not ever put anything together in the Bible because they only tell you half of the story and they preach another Jesus and yet they continue to pass the basket now I read the Bible for what it says not how it's interpreted oh my what a mighty God we serve both in Wrath in his furry and his grace and love because it's all righteous all of it because he is God and the church today does not know God

I think we have to be fair and say that God chooses to not always reveal Himself the way He did to Isaiah or Moses or other places in the Bible. If that happened in church all the time, of course people wouldn't be "bored." But He chooses to be very hidden right now. I don't understand why.

This sounds like a Charismatic deception! The anointed pastor Vs the religious pastor? Elevating certain Christians above others, It’s not Biblical. If a pastor is a true believer, he is already anointed whether we like his sermon or not.
@@Alejandro-xz9ct you said.....If a pastor is a true believer, he is already anointed whether we like his sermon or not. my point....Many pulpits are filled with people who do not represent GOD'S opinion but THEIR personal beliefs I do not wish to change your beliefs but to offer thoughts that you might not have considered.
@@bibletruthreformed If that pastor is a true believer, that pastor would have the work of the Holy Spirit in their sermons, because even in our prayer we need the Holy Spirit to guide us in our speech. It sounds mystical, and it is mystical to think that we are in the presence of this holy God when we pray and when we fellowship. But it is not a exclusively Charismatic persuasion to affirm anything that is mystical. What the Charismatic doctrine affirms in its conception and across the board right now is the continuation of certain gifts that a cessationist believe to have stopped. There are Charismatics that haven't twisted the Gospel, and there are reformers who are technically Charismatic, like John Piper. The problem of the *Charismatic movement* happens when people don't preach the Gospel but fake miracles and attribute it to the Holy Spirit and use that as a means to "evangelize", like the TV-vengalists. So all that is to say that not all Charismatics are heretical, not everything mystical is Charismatic, but it's just the movement is problematic.

Great teaching. To me RC Sproul has such a great Fear and Love of God. It's awesome. Praise Jesus.

Love and a sound mind

I too am convinced that many pastors conceal the Person of God from their congregants. Not only that but the nature of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

And did you find a healthy church?
What on earth is this run on sentence? Are you obeying God and involved in a Bible teaching church?

How would you identify a pastor with that unction and anointing ?
