Would you have any advice on what I can do to stop nightmares?
I've been having them almost everyday since I was a kid. I do know I have a lot of fear and anxiety but I do try to avoid watching scary things or commercials etc. I am trying to pray more and not worry. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Well I had a friend that was Catholic (I didn’t know her religion) I was seriously thinking of asking her for a date but I found out she was Catholic I was raised Pentecostal then mom became SDA SO as soon as I found that she was Catholic I dropped the idea of a date. SDA & Catholic Not a good idea for sure and I knew I would never be Catholic so best to avoid the situation before it happened. I was in high school when that occurred I’m 75 years old now and I have attended Catholic Church Services 3 times all three times I was invited by a Catholic friend. Never felt like I needed to go again.

Hi! I hope and pray all is well.
I’m sorry you’ve felt like it’s been enough times. Most catholic masses are beautiful, so please keep checking them out. It’s not too late.

@@ethang3143 Thanks for the invitation but I’m happy that you’re free to be Catholic in this Nation and also Happy that I am free to NOT be Catholic. I’m personally convinced that Saturday is the true Sabbath as stated clearly in the Bible. “the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.” Sunday is and always has been the First day so it doesn’t qualify as the “Sabbath”. The Jews, SDA, and Seventh Day Baptist are correct in which is the real “Sabbath”. History proves the Pope and the Catholic Church in the 336 AD or close to that time transferred the “Sacred Emphasis” from the Seventh Day (Saturday) to the First Day (Sunday) I seriously doubt that God changed His mind! SO SUNDAY is NOT the Sabbath, Never has been and never will be. The Catholic Church doesn’t even call Sunday the Sabbath they call it “The Lord’s Day”.

if my faith is important to me, but not SO important that I'm willing to marry a non-catholic/non-believer, (and teach the faith to my children but not be strict about it), will I still go to heaven?

if my faith is important to me, but not SO important that I'm willing to marry a non-catholic/non-believer,
Do not put Non Catholic and unbeliever in the same sentence!
Someone who has repented , confessed their need of a savior, and is following Christ is a believer , and does not need a name applied to them whether it be Catholic or tiddly winks . Their salvation is dependent on Christ, not the church.
(and teach the faith to my children but not be strict about it),
teaching your children in the ways of Jesus is the correct concept to have Heb 12:2 teaching your children in the ways of any church name is not a good practice.
will I still go to heaven?
Just what are you basing your salvation on ? Did Christ die on the cross for you or not? Can you find anywhere in the bible, all 73 books, where it tells you that your salvation is dependent on your performance? Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a gift Eph 2:8 , nothing to do with you Eph 2:9 and we were created by God to do the works of God not our own Eph 2:10 and Acts 2:38 we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit . You will not find a scripture anywhere that says God's gift of salvation or the Holy Spirit given to you will ever be taken away from you for any reason .

Do not get unequally yoked with an unbeliever, the same applies to protestants, do not get unequally yoked with a protestant.

And what if the non-Catholic faith does not agree or agrees that you can do your best, but will also do their best to raise them in the other faith..

Im a Christian just not Catholic, and I'm getting married next year to my fiancé which is a Catholic. I'm really strong in my faith in the Bible and Jesus Christ and I believe that if we get married she is supposed to follow and submit to my lead as I will be the head of the family (just as the Bible teaches) and not the other way round. However, my fiancé's family is pushing us to the Catholic faith, which I do not approve of and I also made it clear that it won't happen. If any time my fiancé will submit to this Catholic belief, I will cancel the wedding because that shows separation and does not represent the oneness that Jesus was talking about as Him and the Church are One....I also do not believe in raising my children as Catholic, they should be raised in my belief because I'm their father.
Am I wrong for my decision ? whats your take on my situation?

You would be unequally yoked as believers , you believing in the scriptures as truth and she believing the roman Catholic church as truth. So spiritually unyoked which in my experience is a lead to frustration.. Take your time as the spiritual connection with the one you love will tie you together .

The Catholic Church was instituted by Jesus. It is the longest living Christian church. The protestant churches removed seven books from the Bible. (A great Bible to check out is the douay-rheims Bible)..I recommend that you research these facts. 😉
Also, look up Jesus's burial cloth, look up other miracles including our lady of Guadalupe, lady of Fatima. And then look up the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. (Scripture backs this)
I believe that most people, if their hearts and minds are open, and if they seek truth, will become Catholic. Especially to live as a Traditional Latin Catholic...

@Lauradahl-creations I'm aware of all these;. However, I'm still not convinced. I solely put my faith in the Bible and Jesus, hence, my decision is based on that. I tried reading the Bible cover to cover, Apocrypha etc.....I still don't come out as Catholic... I came out as a Christian putting all my faith in Jesus Christ whom he said: I'm the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me. John 14:6.... and as Apsotle Paul said ‭: Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Ephesians 5:22-23
