This aired most likely in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday October 13th. (Pendant on what time KXJB aired The CBS Late Movie, and the title/length of the film listed for that evening.
Even then, sign off time (assuming that the movie aired with some commercials) would be 12:30 AM THURSDAY at the earliest, and no later than 1:30 AM, maybe 2:00 AM on Thursday.
No matter what, this was definitely past 11:59:59 PM Central Time on Wednesday the 12th. While the broadcast day still was October 12th, in reality, it was legally Thursday, October 13th 1983.

I just put October 12th because that's the broadcast day that was being signed off. You're right it was technically the 13th, but people watching were most likely still awake from the previous day (the 12th).
