Four months in, that girl knows what she's doing. This is so transactional; he clearly doesn't have the strength to resist or upset his prize.
He probably also likes the idea of her being dependent on him. Yeah the only reason she is probably dating him is because he has money, or else Im sure there are better looking men her age she could be dating. The opposite is also true. The only reason he is probably dating her is because she is young and attractive, and deep down he knows to keep that going he will have to pay for it. It may be "only just over 10 years" but those two ages are very different in maturity milestones. It's like a 20 year old dating a 9 year old. Once again, two very different stages of life and maturity milestones.

They couldn’t keep up with both mortgages so both houses started going into foreclosure.
They ended up selling their kids house, then their son and his girlfriend had no place to live so they moved in with my sister and her husband.
It was a nightmare for everyone.
