Good idea on those seated minis, Theo. Throw in a Bartender, Barmaid/waiter or two carrying trays of drinks or food maybe someone dressed like a cook. Maybe even throw in a Bard or band playing instruments?

This is a great set of generic scatter, the statue in particular looks fantastic...I kinda want to stick it onto a base and paint it up a little in case I ever need another knight/paladin mini!

Look at how regal king Gobbo the XIV looks! You can tell he took the etiquette nonweapons proficiency ( that was a 2nd ed thing kids). LoL yeah Theo I better rush out and buy 4 more gobbie villiages to score more of those all important pickle barrels which are the most crucial part of any true D&D afficianados game 👍😁
My biggest gripe with sets like this is there are always so few beds. Never understood why they never have sets with more beds in them. I guess to get you to buy more of the set with the one bed. But really that just seems to expensive for such a set when some of those things could be made pretty easily for next to no money and others can be picked up from sites like Etsy, or even cast from molds and such. Even like Amazon, and Ebay have various precast bits like chests and the like that are pretty inexpensive and you get a fair amount of them. It looks nice but think I'd have to pass.
Reminds me of a crafting video black magic crafts made, I cracked a joke about who would take time to make a rock when you could just go outside and grab one, it kinda pissed him off 🙄😕.
I noticed that some of the pieces such as the debris pile have a bit of a plastic sheen to them. Is it possible to spray them with a dull coat, either from a rattle can or airbrush? Or would it damage the plastic?
I'm not a painting expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I know the plenty of people like to repaint their factory painted minis, and I've never heard of them having any trouble with the plastic. I haven't run into any trouble myself either. I think you'd be fine doing that, but it might be a good idea to check with some of the mini painting folks on Reddit or Twitter to be sure. -Theo

You know I'm a believer in the WarLock Tiles system, Theo - but seriously, Wizkids put a rock in this set? They needed more chairs, more tables, more traps! This set is also seriously overpriced - one bad strike for WizKids.

Just spend a fortune on Paizo Flip Tiles. If I had known that Wizkids were coming out with an afordible 3D tile sets....

Have you used a fog of war feature with cardboard or something like that?
Yeah, absolutely. Usually sheets of paper or similar so I have a little more granular control. -Theo
