They do the best reviews by far, I wish all reviewers would take note and do similar close up rotating shots, lol instead sadly it's often people holding products still in a package that's always blurry
@Elliot Romero exactly! It's like what the hell is even the point? I really hate unboxing videos where they say " oh and here is the most important part, the minis!" Then they show some quick pan over all of them and get if your lucky a 3second blurry shot of half the minis
I love this reviews. These products look fantastic and I dream of having them. Many of my sessions focus on city encounters and are roleplay heavy and the immersion would help a lot... Once we can see each other face to face again, of course.
Thanks Theo (and Grady behind the scenes), this was very helpful. It was especially good to know that this will have fewer tiles vs. the base set. I will still get it, but skew my budget towards multiples of Dungeon Tiles 1 to give me the most bang for my bucks!
I would like to see, small sets for different types of shops and encounters. Like a doctors office, bank, general store, fortune teller, witches hut, town counsel and etc. to go with the Town and Village set.
Honestly, all of these Warlock Tile products really look fantastic! I'm still on the fence about whether to get two of the Dungeon Tiles 1 set, or one of each of the Dungeon and Town sets; what would your personal recommendation be?
I would say it would mostly depend on where your gaming group tends to have encounters. If you're doing a deep dungeon delve in something like Dungeon of the Mad Mage, you may want two Dungeon Tile sets. If you're doing more city-based play with something like Dragon Heist, then one of each may be the way to go! All things being equal, I like getting one of each just to have that diversity of walls and doors! -Theo
@@TheGallantGoblin well hopefully you know your hard work is appreciated bud! I just hope your sponsors have taken note to as to the great asset you and Grady are to anyone who sponsors you, because your viewers definitely know!
I’m not sure if I should get these or wait for the full walls sets.... I like the realistic look of higher walls but then thinking about players, shorter walls are key. Were these designed for wardlings in mind?
Higher wall sets should be coming out relatively soon if you want to check them out. They weren't specifically designed for Wardlings, but they're certainly compatible. -Theo
At this time, you can't. Just as they'll be releasing full height walls in a few months, they'll also be releasing 5' wide (1 inch) tiles in the future, but the minimum width of the current setups is 10 feet/2 inches. Some of the doors in the Doors & Archways expansion are 5', but those are the only terrain pieces that support that width at this time.
Another good Video. Theo, curious what paints you used for your Dwarven Forge pieces? I'm getting a 3D Printer next month and I'm looking for painting advice and information.
Have you ever heard of the Dunegoneer’s Kit, from Table Top Things? I feel like you should contact Tom, and see about getting your hands on some of his stuff to review. I’ve been subscribed to his monthly dungeon tile box for 7 months now, and it’s so much cheaper than any of this.
@@TheGallantGoblin the removing is fine it’s the clipping them on I just said screw it and put 4x4 tiles clipped and just leave it at that so I can still use the interior walls
Love your reviews, and the close up shots is invaluable! Thank you

Those kinds of videos are why we made the channel, Joseph! :-) -Theo

This channel deserves so more views and subs. The shots and the work behind each review is just incredible.
Hey thank you! Glad you're enjoying our reviews! -Theo
Can't get enough of these videos. Keep putting them out.
Thanks! -Theo
I have really been wanting to see this set since you first announced it! Very cool, thanks for the preview guys, I'm sold!

Right there with you! Looking forward to having in person games again sometime! -Theo
These reviews are great! Keep up the good work
Thank you! -Theo
Very cool set
Good stuff
Now this is a nice set I would get more use out of this as I do a lot of town based missions. Thanks for detailed review guys.
Thanks for watching! -Theo

Sounds good! Glad we could be of help! -Theo
Once again a great review, this is the set I was most interested in, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! -Theo
Awesome overview! I agree, I think that clipping together separate rooms and dropping them in seems like a good idea.
It works well! I've been doing that for making these videos since I'm not playing games in person these days! -Theo
@Ben Great, Ben! How are you?
Definitely going to grab 2 of this Town set.
Enjoy! -Theo

You look kinda tired Theo, hope your ok and you guys are not overdoing it, thanks for the great video as always!
Heh, we'll take a day off one of these weeks! -Theo

I'm adding this a little late but can you create a 5' wide passage- using 1 square instead of the 2 that the tiles come in?

Would you say i only need 1 box to make a small villiage or would you advise to buy 2 boxses?
I don't suppose you know if there will be a set of full hight walls of Town & Village? Personally, the half walls look and feel wrong to me.
They do have a pack of full walls coming. The planned release is in November. -Theo
The Gallant Goblin Ah. Thank you very much for the information.
Another good Video.
Theo, curious what paints you used for your Dwarven Forge pieces?

Thank you! For DF I use the official Dwarven Forge Pokorny Paints and follow their painting tutorials on TH-cam. Good stuff! -Theo
3d printer for the win

Nope. That one is new to me. I'll look into it! Thanks for the suggestion! -Theo
I just put this together and I'm angered by how much pain my hands are in putting it together.
I have created an FB enthusiast group for the WarLock Tiles system!

Yeah, but do you need these to have fun playing Dungeons & Dragons? 🤔🤔🤔
Heh, you've probably heard my soap-box speech about that. :-) -Theo
Don't need them to have fun but to deny that they add another level of fun is simply not true.
$99? Every damn store around me are being pricks are marketing them at $120 before tax. F*cking A.
Be careful people I got this and these “easy”clips will shred your fingers I’ve got many a injury from these clips
Oh my! I haven’t had that problem. When is it happening? When removing clips? -Theo
@@TheGallantGoblin the removing is fine it’s the clipping them on I just said screw it and put 4x4 tiles clipped and just leave it at that so I can still use the interior walls
Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. As I use them more I’ll take special note of that and see if it happens to me too! Thanks again! -Theo
