Good day, where can i buy this type of bearing main crankshaft?
most engine rebuilders will have them or source them for you. and they will measure yours all up to make sure you have none that have been swapped out for undersized ones on their own and you would have a low oil pressure issue if rebuilt like that (I have seen it happpen in the past. Measure all of the journals on the crank shaft and.... the mains bolted and torqued without the bearings. So you can measure then main tunnel dimensions to get the OD of the bearings.
@@rent2ownnzIt is a type of main bearing that has a lubrication groove only on the upper pans.
I found this type in a German e-shop only for v4,(only std) which should be the same size, but two sets are needed.The connecting rod lubrication will not be weak?
What is the manufacturer of your bearings
@@marceltruhlar6493 Just be aware that the Ford Cologne (German) V engines and the Essex (British) V engines are entirely different and nothing is interchangeable. How to tell? -A Cologne engine has the distributor at the rear, the Essex has the distributor at the front.
