I am curious to know, how many of you have had a master cylinder fail while attempting to bleed/ flush your brakes?

Great stuff Nick! Keep up the great work. For those that never considered why this happened, this will answer your questions.

Glad to see someone else emphasize brake fluid replacement. I have been encouraging my clients to replace brake fluid for the past could of decades and for the most part have had good success after explaining to them the benefits.
New subscribers here. I appreciate high quality workmanship and have enjoyed the couple of your videos that I've watched.

Thank you, Mike, and welcome to the channel! It sounds like we share a similar philosophy when it comes to working with clients and caring for their vehicles. Explaining the "WHY" behind any service recommendation is crucial.
During my time in dealerships, I often saw interactions between service advisors and clients that lacked transparency or detailed explanations. That never sat well with me. It’s always been important to ensure clients fully understand the recommendations, weigh the pros and cons, and collaborate on decisions that are best for both them and their car.
Taking the time to walk a client through these details builds trust and confidence, and it goes a long way in creating a positive experience. Brake fluid replacement is a perfect example of this-a small but significant service.

@AutoTechNick very well said Nick. I had a small home based speed shop for 20-years before closing it down eight years ago when my wife and I moved and I built my new shop at our new home.
I still do work for others but on a case by case basis and the understanding that my stuff comes before any side work.
I have passion as a mechanic as it appears you do as well. I am anal about things and when a client trusts me with their vehicle I feel it is more of a partnership in the vehicle's care than just me working just to get the vehicle in and out of the shop.
If the owner doesn't care about their vehicle enough to create this partnership I suggest they take their work elsewhere.
I'm looking forward to checking out not of your videos as time allows.
