The pencil with a paper towel does not work at all, not to mention that it cannot reach the parts that need to be cleaned.
Using a hair dryer to blow crumbs around… that’s so cool! Thunderous applause! I’ve been doing that since the time when our blow dryers were lined with asbestos.
Not sure about a pencil & paper towel😦. A proper pastry brush will do the the trick!

Can yo do that with stainless steel fridges? My fridge already has that brushed look to it… it’s not smooth. Use coconut oil or baby oil to shine? What else do you recommend for shining stainless steel?

Yeah, mine has butter residue inside... I think I'm going to soak the whole think in water/soap for a couple days then rinse with a hose and dry for a week.

Argh yeah there's someone in my house too who thinks it's okay to put *buttered things!* down inside the toaster and also oily foods like donuts 😡😡 coincidentally the same person who says "don't worry, I'll clean the toaster!" and then has NEVER cleaned it. (Thanks for listening to my rant 😭)
Sorry...2 years later 😁 but not a bad idea. I'm considering using a little oven cleaner on some of the really baked on parts. There are natural oils in wheat so even if you don't add oils to your bread or put buttered bread in the toaster the natural oils from flour cook onto the inner surfaces causing your bread to toast slowly and/or unevenly.
I'll try anything b/c I'm looking at a new toaster otherwise.

Yeah, that don't work! Sorry, stuck crumbs are down in there and no hair dryer going to blow them out! I can use the air compressor attachment, it has mega power! 😀 And Awesome from the Dollar Tree is my go to cleaner. It is awesome!!

That toaster wasn't dirty. I need advice for removing baked on grease inside. No help here.
I just throw mine in the dishwasher for a pots and pans cycle. The cord just reaches the bottom rack from the cabinet outlet, and it keeps it from becoming tangled.
Dry it in the oven if it is is a gas one and has a pilot to warm LOL
I put the crumb tray in the oven, but the rest of the toaster has electronics that probably shouldn't go in the dishwasher. Or maybe I misunderstood what exact parts you were recommending for the dishwasher.
