2 month owner's review on the A71. it's a great phone, a great an amazing "value for money" purchase! it's very quick, excellent battery life, great display, 3.5 mm jack. very happy with my choice. I don't see a reason for spending much more on a S10 or S20 other than some functions I don't see myself using. The only negative I noticed is that fingerprint unlock does not work perfectly, and sometimes I need to use my finger prints several times or use "another print" to unlock. I am using a screen cover, and it could be related to that. Nevertheless, all in all it's a great phone and I am very happy with my purchase. Not a smartphone maniac and find that for the normal user it's plenty enough, good quality. Recommended 10/10
A tip is to register the same finger print several times over to speed up the recognition process.
@Tsyuna Desu well duh, it's an optical fingerprint scanner compared to iPhone's physical scanner. All physical scanners are faster than optic based ones.
@Tsyuna Desu actually Samsung's implementation is more secured compared to other optical fingerprint scanners out there which scans the fingerprint so fast that I'm almost having doubts about it's security. Better to have a slightly slow scanner than a fast unsecured one.
True, the optical fingerprint scanner is complete rubbish. I suggest to use face unlock, way faster and more reliable although you sacrificed a bit in terms of security but it's no big deal tbh. I set it up on my mom's A50, definitely improve her experience to unlock the phone 😁
So this is still a better buy than other brands with lower price tags like One Plus Nord, Mi Note 10 Lite and Redmi 10x Pro? I'm totally considering this when it comes to security features. Just an average daily user by the way.

Still rocking my A71 4G in Feb. 2022. A full charge is still lasting a whole day. It's supposed to get Android 12 in about a month and Android 13 next year. Definitely worth the money.

Samsung mid-rangers are so far so good
I've been using A50 and by my experience, it's smooth and has a good gaming experience !!
Fingerprint also works very well and the camera quality is great
Overall Samsung A series is Great !!

I also use the a50 for about 6 months or so, and I am very happy with it. Amazing device that offers a full package at a very good price.

Main camera(64mp) is very good, boyh wide angle and depth are decent, but macro disappoints i dont know y but im getting blur images in it

Im still using my 4 years old Xiaomi phone with very bad battery the a71 would be an excellent upgrade

Have you tried using them to record a video during a concert where there are loud screams and noises? Which one do you think will do a better job in noise reduction so that the sound in the videos will not be (idk the exact term) cracked? Disturbed? Especially when someone is shouting or screaming. Thank you!
Just got this phone (previous phone was OnePlus 5). This phone is probably my best one to date, screen is beautiful ofc, fast as hell, all around a perfect phone for me. Only thing I recommend is a nice big case for it
This for me is the best "value for money" phone. My only cons though after using it for 6 months:
1. You almost won't feel it vibrating in your pocket because vibration is sideways. I missed alot of important calls because I did not feel it vibrating in my pocket.
2. Fingerprint scanner works 20% of the time or less when you're out in the field (dirty/oily/wet finger). This does not happen on my S8.
3. Speaker is loud but meh.
Just bought it from Ozone. Can't wait to get it! Thanks for the good phone review and for the battery life test because i've seen varying comments about it and your comparison was useful for me. Even more, the camera looked very good for its price range and as i tend to take a lot of photos, this was a must characteristic. Thanks again!

Havent owned a flagshio device in years now, with the A series i dont think i ever will.
Only things I could ask for are:
- Water Resistance (even without the rating)
- Optical Image Stabilization on the primary camera
- Swap the Micro Camera for a Telephoto Zoom Camera
- A US release

Great job on the review, I recently moved to the A71 myself from a Nokia8. Im mostly impressed with the cameras and the display. I thought it was gonna be sluggish, but its actually operates pretty smooth. It is a good midranger, love it!

I've been using this phone for about 2 weeks now and I have no regrets. Its great for its value 📱
have this phone for a week and love it. It feels pretty "flagship" to me, it's not a cheap phone in any way. Performance is very good, display is great, battery life is GREAT, latest android and samsung software tech (look it up). It has a quality feel. I don't have a single complaint and it doesn't make sense to me to buy the much more expensive "flagship" phones. I find it a waste and I never use cheap products. It's a pretty big phone (perhaps the only downside!) and it doesn't fit your pocket, but on the other hand watching videos and reading emails is much more comfortable.
10/10 for me considering price/quality.
How is the speaker and is the phone too big? I mean is the phone comfortable to use with one hand?

I'm really scared of the word "Flagship". I own a Nokia 8, which they claimed it as Flagship. I had lot of expectation from Nokia and it was in vain. It was a disaster and I'll never buy a Nokia phone and won't suggest anyone to buy it. I noticed screen burn after 3 months. Poor battery backup. Phone hangs frequently. Battery is done in 2 years. No wonder... Nokia is never from Finland again...

I've been using the Galaxy A71 for a few days day and honestly? Well good news as I've been going over the main most important things that to me are important in a phone which are:
1 x Battery life will get you through the day with middle to heavy use with an easy 20-50% battery left from 8.00am - 11.00pm
2 x both the ear piece and loud speakers are very good (great call quality)
3 x the signal strength is very good as is the WiFi along with fast down and upload speeds
4 x the screen is of excellent quality being clear and very very bright
5 x the cameras are also very good taking really good photos and very clear stable video recording
6 x the phone is also surprisingly light in the hand so it's not heavy at all
7 x both the finger print reader and face unlock are fairly quick (not OnePlus speeds but around 1 second)
8 x the processor in this phone alone with 6gb ram is super quick (the fastest mid range phone I've ever used)
9 x value for money I'm happy to recommend this phone to anyone because at a 3rd of the cost of most flag ship phones.

S10 lite got better performance and better display than this.. i wont mind to sacrifice 3.5mm jack.. sony xb400 earphone would be perfect
@@mr.a8510 Yes i said "toned down"? In day to day performance 730 is as good as 855 and display is same samoled with no HDR certification for both.
Moreover i am against the whole idea of charging earphones/headphones for good audio to use it (except bullets wireless 2).

My Samsung A8 2018 for 350 euros has IP rating. What is going on with Samsung that even the new high end S10 lite is not IP rated and costs 650 euros.

It's good to have a 6.7inches with super AMOLED screen on a phone with a good price
I did not know about the A series until Oct 2019, before that I had Galaxy S8+ it got old, so it was time to upgrade my only option was S10+ as I need audio jack for some stuff, then after researching found the A70 and got it full price and it the best decision I ever made, amazing phone great price, has every thing I need good camera, great screen, Dolby Atmos, everything I would ever need, and I am a super techy person and I am unexpectedly very happy with it. Also I am waiting till 5G goes full mainstream and my next update is the A71 5G, not too expensive has everything I need and 5G with great battery life everything about the A70 and A71 I love it.

Not 100 percent sure, but you can try to zoom in and out with two fingers like you do on google maps

@@littyagain if you have more much money you can buy the s10 lite because it have snapdragon 855 . If you don't , yes it worth it : excelent cameras , very good performance in the games ( playing smoothly cod mobile with very high settings and very high frame rate ) , batterie life is excelent also . In general , it's a great phone I recommend it .
