Its cheap tho. Imagine i wanted iphone 12 pro max but bought new pc and havent enough. My mom bought for herself A71 but she dont like the samsung software so she wanna give it to me. And i wanted this iphone12 pro max but bought pc so doesent had enough money. I wanted to buy samsung s20 and realized s20 fe is bit better with almost same price, 1440p but you cant even use it on 120hz so its not an difference. So i am watching this to see is it really difference to buy s20 fe.

Went for the FE and no regrets. A71 is cheaper and good value, but FE is near-flagship at a mid-range price. The A71 is huge, the FE is the largest phone I've ever owned but it's a bit sleeker.
My a71 cost $700aud. S20fe 4g is $1000aud and 5g is $1150aud. I'm a student coming from a budget 2018 phone and the a71 was a fantastic upgrade.
a71 is only 400 USD in most international markets which is about 525 AUD. in the used market, you can get it for less than 250 USD.
TBH S10 or Note 10 would be better

Thanks for posting this. It was nice to see the two phones side by side. I got the A71 last month and I thought I was getting an amazing deal ($100 after carrier subsidy) until they announced the Black Friday week price for the S20 FE 5G: FREE, but on a monthly plan that's $13 more than my plan, so the FE would work out to $300. I think I made the right choice at the right time.
In terms of value for money, I think the S20 FE rocks pretty hard. There are other options for an 800 series Snapdragon in a more basic housing if you want to go with a less common brand, but a lot of people want and need the support and peace of mind (and subsidies) that you can get from buying from your carrier's store. Hopefully Samsung continues the FE phones because there's definitely a market for them.
The A71 is a very capable phone, and when it's time to upgrade I'll have saved hundreds of dollars that I can put towards my next phone. For either phone, put it in a case and people will think you have a flagship.

This was a really well done comparison video I'm surprised now one else has done this comparison. I just upgraded from the Razer Phone 2 to the S20 FE and I gotta say I am really liking it. I miss the 1440p screen of the Razer Phone 2 and would have rather had that on the S20 FE then the 120hz refresh rate which I don't really feel at all. When it comes to the materials of the phones I actually am liking the matte plastic back of the S20 FE more then the glass back of the Razer Phone 2. It just feels a lot less harsh more soft and warm which I like tho visually the Razer Phone 2's finish does look better aestheticaly. I subbed by the way 😉

If i had the money i would get the S20 FE. I love the long battery life, phone call quality, and it is water resistant.
I went with the S20 FE 5G about 2 weeks & got it on a sale for $459. it's great you can't go wrong with the S20 FE 5G.

@@nikotakai8796 yes, i honestly love it, and glad i switched because I'm not paying 1k for a normal s20 like that's super stupid when you can get a S20 fe. However i had a S9 tho but the only usage i had to get use to was the screen size, because you have the S9+ you should be more familiar with bigger phones.
As I mentioned on your other video there are some pretty sweet deals to be had on the A71 5G right now because of the A72 introduction. Got mine around 300 and paying over time from Bestbuy and Sprint. Downside is Sprint but got a Tmobile SIM card for Sprint customers.

I would really like to see a camera comparison between these two phones. Or even better, these two plus the pixel. Looking at the photos here, it can sometimes be hard to decide which photo looks best. As one might have the better lighting, but still look more washed out compared to the other. Or one might have better colors and still look blurry.
This video was amazing. I ended up getting the A71 and loved it. I was unfortunately so sad when AT&T phased it out and I was forced to buy a new phone. If not I'd still be using it, it's been so dependable and for the money I'd say it was probably the best "non flagship" phone I've ever used

I'm on Team A71. It's cheaper, it still packs a headphone jack which is the number one thing I look for in a phone, which is not offered on the high end flagships. Plus, there are some instances in general you just get more, for less, and that's what some people value more than 'oh look, new flagships, never mind the four figure price tag.' (I'm from Australia, so the currency's different.)
I actually managed to get the s20 fe 5g in Australia through a jbhifi glitch and got it for only $600 which was a steal

I'm glad I waited and got the ☁️ red FE. Boy am I 😁 happy. The 865 flies and that 120hz is beautiful. I have no complaints. Even at full retail I consider it a no-brainer!

@@verden2323 you can get the iphone SE from walmart for $200. It might not have the big screen but has a ton of speed. Or get a used galaxy s9+ from amazon like I did for $278. Just $78 bucks more for basically a phone that cost $900 a couple years ago. It still out performs the A71.

@@verden2323 oh yeah if i woulda known earlier that the A21s had 6gb of ram instead of 4 i woulda definitely recommended it. I've only had the A71 and A10e out of the A series, and I can say the A71 is only good for around 3-4 months of use. A21s is a great choice tho for value and specs.

Here in India we get the 4g version of S20fe with Exynos 990 and cost 600 $ now the price is increased to 675$. The A71 is 400$.

When gaming the Fe runs way cooler with mmorpg/moba games with HFR mode on the a71 got really toasty and that made me worry a bit.
I wouldn't expect it to have as good of a cooling system
You also get more software features on S20FE over the A-series. Examples: spam blocking/caller ID in the dialer app, ability to sort your contacts how you want, real US Samsung Pay vs broken Chinese Samsung Pay

My daughter and I, bought both of these phones on the same day. A71 5G for me; S20 FE 5G for her. Both have pros and cons. No wireless charging on mine. Mine has 4 camera lenses .vs her 3. Neither of us have put the cameras to full use, as we got them on 4/30. I upgraded from a S9, .vs a S7 for my daughter. We both like our phones.
Ok I want to upgrade from my A21. I'm aiming towards an A71 but the only think that really makes me want to get the S20 FE is the wireless charging & perhaps the cameras. Is it worth getting the S20 FE for what I'm looking for or should I just go ahead and get the A71?
1 Month after purchasing a Samsung S20-FE, it fell off the side of my bed, and the screen was cracked. The phone was over One THOUSAND bucks, and a new screen with labor was going to cost another $500.00. I purchased an A-71, and I Never thought it was as good as I found. The A-71 is actually AWESOME!

I just tried switching back to 60hz on my S20 FE after having it for a couple weeks, and one thing's for sure: Once you go 120hz you never go back. Damn the difference is huge.

I don't know much about cameras so help me out, how is 12megapixels better than 64megapixels? I say "better" because of what he said about the FE having a flagship setup
I have the a71 5g and I love it. I've had it for about 3yrs of so and I love it. It still works great the battery lasts all day. I am thinking of upgrading. I am cheap and because this phone still works fantastic I can't see spending a bunch of money and have been thinking about the 2o fe, 21 fe, and the 22 but the battery on the s22 is smaller and the whole phone is smaller. The 20 fe is bigger and I like the look of it but doesn't seem to offer much more then I already have. I've been debating this forever. I thought about the s21 plus but unfortunately it's not offered anymore which I do regret not getting when I could. Anyway maybe I'll wait until the next Gen comes out and try to get the s22 plus cheaper.
T-Mobile locked A71 5G was down to like $300-400 a couple of days ago with bonus trade-in and hidden $100 coupon. No contract or new line required directly from Samsung.

I just got the A71 5G instead of S20 FE, what I noticed....after getting my phone is the on the recording option for the s20 FE you have the option of 30 Fps,60 Fps and 20 Fps on the 4k recording

I was considering of trading my A71 to S20 FE, but I love the set-up of the quad cam of A71. And also the chipset of S20 FE here in our place is Exynos as what I've heard and not Snapdragon 865.
Only the 5G model has the Snapdragon chipset

I just bought the A71 5G for i'd say $400 if converted directly from 166OMR, and I'm loving it
I have the S20 FE (Exynos version) and A70 and both are excellent phones. The A70 doesn't have a macro lens and neither does the S20 FE but you can easily do macro on the S20 FE by going into Pro mode (works for photo and video) and selecting the macro symbol from the focus dial. You can use a bit of zoom to get even closer and you get excellent results. As I said, both phones are brill. The A70 is the predecessor to the A71 I know but it's very similar.

I have both and I loved the S20 FE when I first got it and I liked the A71 when I first got that, but I didn't love it. I have to say that I'm starting to get bored of the S20 FE and the A71 is starting to grow on me. I'm still not ready to switch to my A71 as my daily driver, but I'm getting closer and closer to try doing that. The battery life seems to be better on the A71, the display looks better, it has a headphone jack, etc. The only reason why I'm hesitant to make the switch is the amazing camera on the FE and I prefer the size of the FE. The FE also feels more premium. If I was paying full price for them, I would probably get neither of these two phones and just go with the A51 instead. I know that the A51 is the most inferior out of the three phones, but the FE isn't worth twice the price of the A51 and the A71 is simply too big of a phone for most people. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for the FE. If you can get the FE on a discount, that's definitely the phone to get even though they cut corners in some areas of the phone like the display for example.
Hi there... I wanna ask.... About a70.... Where's gonna be ONE UI 2.5 version on a70 they say right.... So I play this mobile game and high FPS mode isn't available on my device it says.... So 2.5 version will fix it?? Also does s20 Fe have FPS??

A71 wins on price per value, it's cheap enough to replace a couple years down the line. Also, I've heard people reviewing the A71's macro lens, who say that it's pointless, they obviously think that taking photos is just a matter of clicking the shutter. As someone who takes real photos with real cameras and macro lenses, which can be more expensive than mobile phones, I appreciate the innovation of having a macro lens in a mobile which saves me a lot of time. By the way, I can always zoom in to the subject, but it's not quite the same thing. I suggest that you understand how a macro might be used, because negative comments may well have the effect of putting people off what is actually a really good camera system.

Having a Macro on the go like this is so underrated. The amount of dog noses macro pics i took or beautiful flowers just on the streets this past year is more than 100

I’m getting the A71 5G just for a back up phone to my Xs Max, had a chance to trade in my Xs Max and just pay 250 for a S21 plus but I really didn’t want to give up my iPhone so I just bought the A71 5G so I could get my Android fix without loosing my apple addiction. Oh and I paind 300 for the A71.

Right now I think the best deal for a samsung phone isn't either of these. The S10 lite with snapdragon 855 and a big 4500 Mah battery is on Amazon for 395 euros, and the A71 for 330 and the S20 FE for upwards of 650 Euros

I'm a Samsung fan, but I hate their pricing, for some phones a crazy expensive at a bad deal (note 20, A71 5g, US s10 lite) to good value and somewhat cheap (s20 fe, A71)

Black Friday sale had the s20 fe 5g going for 299. I coped it and glad I did.
