I got one of these a few months ago for work and it's been my new best work friend off the bat. Quality. Plus that ability to access the tools without opening the pliers is a luxury you didn't know you needed.
I really like the Truss because it has a scissors, saw , awl, good sized driver and a good size pliers in a light carry design. The cutters work a lot better than the ones on the Center Drive too. The Truss is the only medium sized multi-tool with all these functions. Only the Leatherman Surge has comparative functions but I can buy 3 Trusses for the same price and the Truss has a lifetime warranty. Note: I would gladly pay $60 retail for this multi-tool if it was made in the USA.
Just got myself one of these. Can't wait for it to arrive.
Very good multitool. I also have the leatherman skeletool, but this feels awesome. I'm now just searching for a pocket clip for it.
I just got mine, it’s fantastic and easy to use
I do not see the interest of this semi-serrated blade while there is a smooth blade.
The Suspension has a smooth blade and a serrated blade.
In comparison with the Suspension, we also note the presence:
- a file but a rather shabby file that will only serve as large flat screwdriver in duplicate with the large flat screwdriver,
- a awl,
- a cable stripper on the large flat screwdriver tool,
- a small flat screwdriver on the can opener / bottle opener but the Suspension is equipped with a small flat screwdriver,
- the absence of the cord ring,
- extraction notches for the blades and scissors but the Suspension already has two extraction pins (smooth and serrated blades).
In short, for those who already have the Suspension ($ 38) ((or the Evo ($ 49)), there is little interest in acquiring the Truss ($ 46).
Je ne vois pas l'intérêt de cette lame semi-crantée alors qu'il y a une lame lisse.
Le Suspension a une lame lisse et une lame crantée.
Par rapport au Suspension, on notera en outre les présences :
- d'une lime mais d'une lime assez minable qui ne servira qu'en tournevis plat en double emploi avec le tournevis large,
- d'un poinçon,
- d'un dénude-câble sur l'outil tournevis large,
- d'un petit tournevis plat sur l'outil ouvre-boîte/décapsuleur mais le Suspension est doté d'un petit tournevis plat,
- l'absence de l'anneau de cordelette,
- des encoches d'extraction pour les lames et les ciseaux mais le Suspension possède déjà deux ergots d'extraction (lames lisse et crantée).
Bref, pour celui qui possède déjà le Suspension (38 $) ( (ou l'Evo (49 $)), il n'y a guère d'intérêt à acquérir le Truss (46).

I mean I guess you can saw as much as you can through it just to give it a weak point to kick in, but there is no way that saw is going to cut through anything you can’t always break with your hands.
Saw demonstrations in multitool ads and reviews are always funny to me. I have a surge and even with the exchangeable blades it just seema so useless. They should just swap them to proper files or something.
Can you make a truss pliar close thin like the diesel. Or a diesel with a full screwdriver And a wire crimper

And an aww or a strong thin pick for hose removal on viechle or when you need a strong thin pick
I use the scissor to cut tru electrical harness cover but if yah can make it thinner to cut into wire cover but strong enough to cut tru plastic packages that would be great

Is the Truss UK legal carry or not?
It's legal only if you have a really good reason to carry it. I've tamed mine to comply with UK laws. It's a shame the locks are fantasticly strong but i shouldn't get it confiscated if I'm stopped.

You need to make a big multitool like the Freehand with some modifications of the old design , and use a good type of steel like CPM S35VN and CPM 154 . Stop using garbage steel and Chinese parts. Take your products to a higher quality level .
I Agree people don't know what quality is,the saw on the Gerber is to short . They did the same with Bacho tools,no more swedish steel let's go for the Chinese 🐂💩
Such a small knife fine edge.
blades look like they're under three inches and the saw is completely useless.

Suspension NXT, same thing but doesnt have the saw, and the serrated and fine edge are merged to have a combo blade.
