❤ these five young men met at Villawood Migrant Hostel. Stevie Wright stepped up to the plate in 1964., aged 16. I was 4. These fellows must have made ALOT A L O T of music in a very short time., putting their enthusiasm for life in Australia into song. Mismanagement of their band and poor airplay on radio ... etc ., they all wanted to go to Saint Louis. Fleet left the band to be WITH his family. They recorded Heaven and Hell., in London. And, yes guy'man, they were punk before punk had a title and twinkled in the eyes of the Brits., who shared it with the world , for better or worse. Hay Harry wasn't written and Malinda Herman , by me , regrettably who knows what it might have been if you'd made the scene... Suzi Quatro covered Stevie Wright's song, Suzi in '75 ? , RIGHT on time for me aged 15. I sat crossed legs in parent's front yard amoungst the hibiscus and dwarf Pritchardia with the purple seeds and prayed for rain and asked myself why because girls can rock music too., l knew it. My sister and me . Just us two laying on the bonnet of dad's car in the night at grans house. Looking at the sky. Some people say , 10 4 good buddy but that was my uncle's children, and we were older by then but l still want to get a tower for my back yard 50 years later. Frequencies are cool. Donald was on this morning , and l heard him speaking and he's so fluffy 😊😊😊 .. I'm Wendy May Smith. I'd like to complain for anyone who drops a load of manure or worse , poisen on my doorstep, but in defence of the leaders , there's more to it than getting some rights to live and work without dying by , biting me. It's a wild wild animal the big uns in this world, you can't just stretch out your arm even to inspect a wound, and that pincer near killed me., and it still is l suppose. But I'm not looking it in the eye because it's gaze always goes past me even when it's uttering a greeting it's looking to the fields of poppy's and the road to taking care of business .my lord l really want to know you. My sweet lord. If I've offended anyone by paying hush money , fluffy funny care . If l gave someone a dollar to catch a train or 500 or 10 hundred or 100 hundred and they catch that train and they go to noon pen or Cambodia and create such animosity in the country by dividing the people and the yellow brick road is riddled with staving children holding rifles and acting as guards and torturers of each other and another million citizens like occurred when the Kamur Rouge led by Pol Pot took parliament house with the weapons of war that were paid for by a government in a far away land , where money grows on trees and there's no rule about cleaning up your mess when the beach party is over. I'm making myself sick talking about this but only when l got to that part concerning the USA government., and film stars. And that's just one continent. Thank God for punk. I guess it's a legal precedent. He's a cute wee ducky. Because he was raised in an affluent society. I just hope he remembers the migrants and the workers who don't get counted unless they're somehow famous , like Steve Wright and he was well liked as a radio presenter for some time before he died in 2014., but he was in pain for some time and had heart bypass surgery a year before his death and only a few knew about it. You just don't know. True colours like a rainbow.
Monty Python was punk? Orv was it an answer to punk ? Films don't come cheap., and l appreciate THAT . The Easy Beats were allowed to be true to themselves because of freedom. To be. They were so punk and only had one song banned , because of one line in it. But l don't know what that line was?
Just because l call you sweeties in frequency , it doesn't mean to say you're suckable. Ok POSSUMS bloody vermin in New Zealand. A pest there. But , if you got possums it means you've got edible nectar and fruit. Not poisen and zero fruits. Thank you for your time.
Wow cool to see the footage of this classic rock song. I was a teen of the '80s , when I first heard this song in that time , I thought it was an '80s British punk bands song. Even to me in '86 it sounded modern especially the guitar intro . Another song I took notice then and swore it was new was Deep Purple's Hush, little did I know it was from '66! Timeless classics.
I first heard this as a pre-teen in 1966. There are very few songs that I never tire of hearing and this is one of them. One of the greatest rock songs of all time!
stevie wright was given a beautiful gift and bou did he make the most of it there will never be another like him,I wished I had the chance to meet him,but his music will keep his memories alive.thankyou will be sadly missed god bless
The first chart breaker ever from Australia. Brilliant pop song, music and lyrics. Featuring guitarist George Young, older brother of Angus and Malcolm. Thanks.
In the sixties, this song was the anthem for working-class Australian youths. Still brings a tingle to my spine. Sad half of them are no longer here. Easybeats for ever.

My mom was just diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia. I thank her everyday for introducing me to the fabulous music of the 60’s. This song just makes me smile.
I was just a child, in the U.S.A., when this song was popular on the radio. It's takes me back to a carefree time. I love that feeling of nostalgia. I feel sorry for the young ppl today who probably do not or will not have songs that make them feel this way.
RIP the three members of The Easybeats George Young (November 6, 1946 - October 22, 2017), aged 70 Stevie Wright (December 20, 1947 - December 27, 2015), aged 68 Dick Diamonde (December 28, 1947 - September 22, 2024), aged 76 You will be remembered as legends
And not there are Three of them that is gone. I heard that Harry Vanda passed away last , August 2022 . he was diagnosed with dementia, but died from cancer. 8 months after being diagnosed. As far as I know of the only two left are Snowy Fleet. And Dick Diamond. .
My favorite song ever !! I was just a kid but this song always stuck in my head. Played the 45 so many times also listened to it on am radio- yes I'm old lol. Stevie Wright was so cute. Loved their outfits and shoes. Great tune :-)
15 and a drummer in a band. First gig (birthday party) we knew maybe 10 songs and split I think $15 (equal to about 125 bucks today) between 6 of us. Knew I should’ve scrapped the brass section to make it 4.
I loved this song - I was13 when it came out and was living in Adelaide. We used to do crazy dancing when we went to parties, much like Stevie. It was such a fun decade - so carefree, rich musically and we wore fabulous clothes. I really miss those days but am glad I was around to enjoy them.
This is my first time seeing and hearing this and it made me so happy 😊 Such an uplifting song, I was smiling the whole time. The lead singer is such a cutie!
What a nice song. I made a friendship with a Australian guy, barely 70, here in Rio de Janeiro and he introduce me to this band, he said this band was like a beatles thing in Australia. Love it
I was born in 1971, but listen to a lot of 60's music. For me the 60's, 70's and 80's were the best decades for music and always will be. After that it hasn't so much gone downhill as fallen off a bloody cliff!!!
I was like 10 when this hit American AM radio. I was already into music as my father gave me free access to his very expensive tube Stereo. Bands like this, then the Animals , Hendrix, The Doors. It was a great time to be young
I was 17 and had just started working and had just fallen in love with a sweet girl of 16. The world was ours. Friday on my mind was my anthem......God Bless.
This has been a rough week for my family and I needed to hear something joyful and fun right now.....this is perfect to end the week.....love their energy and the music is part of happy memories of my youth....just fantastic in every way, the music, outfits and hair... LOVE THIS ~ 😊🎶🎶🎶
The whole production is worth watching and listening to again and again- the words, the outfits, the instruments, the positivity in their faces. Lithe and slender, every lad.
This is one of those stroke-of-genious songs that is so 60's, yet so timeless (as many are). I enjoy it so much, yet if you asked me who wrote or performed it I'd be at a loss. I'm no musicologist, though I grew up in the 60's & 70's, and if you see my music likes, I have a lot and they only scratch the surface. But I say without reserve that I think this is a perfect pop rock song. I like everything about it, and it still gets me going today as it did back when. It's a great story everyone can relate to, told with range in vocals, guitar work and heavy snare. It's technically simple, yet hits every nerve in your body. It's a lightning strike. Since I listened to it for the first time in perhaps decades last week, I can't get this song out of my mind. I love it so much.
Perfect pop rock song. These guys started Australian rock n roll. They spawned many bands. AC/DC prob the most famous. Produced by Vanda and Young. Angus and Malcolm's older brother. They should have cracked America
Albert john paul the pope. Yes this song is timeless I wasn't even born then. I never get sick of hearing it on the radio. Cheers from a cheeky bastard in Australia.
This is by far the most perfect song ever. It does not have to be your favorite, but you cannot deny it. Unique guitar, Catchy lyrics, great melody, and back to that catchy guitar. Its up, its down, its left, its right. Love it.
now you got the old hippies - take a hard look at what a lifetime of drugs and alcohol does. You brain goes FUBAR and you never grow up. You look like 110 when you're 60 - if you make it that long.
That guitar riff after "Coming Tuesday I feel better" is one of the sexiest and most original transitional riffs in a pop tune ever. I remember noticing it and digging it when the song first came out.
Same here ... I was mostly focused on the new Beatles tracks and albums as they hit on an ongoing basis, but there were certain songs from the same era that were outstanding ... I was a ten year old guitarist just learning, and I immediately loved everything about this piece: The guitar work really stood out for it's unique riff pattern, and the vocals have a rock music dynamism that made the Beatles so awesome in my eyes ... He really cranks the vocal energy up in the "Tonight" chorus, getting that edgy Lennon like growl, and it's so satisfying and perfect for the overall form of the song Great example of a pre-chorus as well ... It's perfect guitar pop for the ages
I've never seen a more captivating front man than Steve Wright. He seems to be having such fun--what amazing energy and vitality, and what great dance moves! Friday On My Mind has to be one of the best pop songs ever. This has become one of my favorite videos (watching it is like taking an antidepressant, but better) and I only just discovered it!
I was lucky enough to see 'The Easybeats' live in Warrnambool, Victoria Australia in May 1965. Stevie Wright was the same age as me at the time,17, what a performance! Best Ausie band of all time and if you like this song then you really need to hear their, music that was only released in Oz, before venturing overseas, it'll blow your mind!! Iv'e seen a lot of live Bands over the years including, Beatles, Stones... but I believe Stevie is up there with Steve Marriot (Small Faces) as one of the best frontmen of all time.

Never mind that it's mimed - this wonderful song is beautifully captured here. Composition, pose and energy are wonderfully filmed. Whenever I hear this, it's always 1966 and my little transistor radio is pressed to my ear after bedtime "lights out" - this song, and so many others my gateway to a wonderful world beyond childhood. Thank you Stevie, Harry, George, Dick & Snowy.
I am still in luv with my childhood in the amazing psychedelic 60s!!!! This band was yet another British invasion mind- blower with another cool iconic classic!!!! LONG LIVE THE 60S!!!!!
Couldn’t agree more! I was a teenager in the 60s and consider myself blessed to have been born when I was. Most of today’s popular music is absolutely ghastly by comparison and I would hate to be a teenager today.
I know what you mean...I'm 61 now and remember all of the 60s bands, even those from the early years. My three older sisters had the radio and record players going all the time, so its all ingrained in me, still. I agree that I may be able to sing along with the songs even now but don't necessarily know the band/singer/songwriter. Some of my earliest memories include hearing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons singing "Cherry" while riding in my parents' '62 Chevy Belair in downtown Baltimore. Also, loved when my sister would play "Michelle" on the record player (I was convinced that my 6 year-old self knew French!). Gawd, those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end, and they all bring back such great memories!
I’m 78 years old now and this song reminds me of my youthful exuberance waiting for the weekend. I bought a compilation of the band about 25 years ago and still enjoy this Australian pop band.

Stevie Wright was a simply fantastic front man and lead singer! How he could bust much impressive dance moves and sing perfectly (yes, I've heard him perform this LIVE) still boggles my mind.
I would like to know how they can compare any body else stage performance to that of Stevie. He made you feel like dancing. He was having such a great time .his dance moves was his own. If you watched some of the other lead singers like Mick Jagger you see how he was influenced by Stevie. Even in his solo music he was a great performer . Had you dancing and singing with along and having a great time.

Why is the Easybeats not considered a great band. If it wasn't for them there would be no AC DC. Every body say's that they were the ones that brought Australian music to the international music market. They were great performers and song writer's. And when you take about George young and harry Vanda bring the best song writing team. Remember that Stevie wright was there before Bon Scott and harry Vanda.
Summertime in 1967 I was visiting my aunt in France and this song was playing on the radio all the time. What a great song by these Aussies. Great music was coming from every part of the world during that magical time.
The Easybeats were an Australian rock band which formed in Sydney, Australia, in late 1964, and disbanded at the end of 1969. They were the antipodean echo to the style and sound of the Beatles in Britain, and the first rock and roll act from Australia to score an international pop hit with the 1966 single, "Friday on My Mind". All five founding members were from families that had migrated to Australia from Europe: lead singer Stevie Wright and drummer Gordon "Snowy" Fleet were from England; rhythm guitarist George Young was from Scotland; lead guitarist Harry Vanda and bassist Dick Diamonde were from the Netherlands.

Was it Suzy? My arm is sore. I'm going to ... work/ lay down. F or dye F or Dye.. no offence Charles. That was France. Crucify me 🎉
Monty Python was punk? Orv was it an answer to punk ? Films don't come cheap., and l appreciate THAT . The Easy Beats were allowed to be true to themselves because of freedom. To be. They were so punk and only had one song banned , because of one line in it. But l don't know what that line was?
Abs even if I'm wrong or have made error in certain details. WOULD YOU KNOW, YOU TUBERS. LOL 😂Look it up for yourselves, sweeties. ❤🎉
Just because l call you sweeties in frequency , it doesn't mean to say you're suckable. Ok POSSUMS bloody vermin in New Zealand. A pest there. But , if you got possums it means you've got edible nectar and fruit. Not poisen and zero fruits. Thank you for your time.
The 60s were the best years for me.. 😁✌🏻
One of the best songs from that era and still sounds great!
morry i love your comment , what a complete beno the 60s era was lol Jane i was their x

Erano decisamente tempi migliori. 👏👏
I think this is one of the greatest Pop songs of the 60s.
Absolutely
Exactly
"Even My Old Man Looks Good" every line in this song stands the test of time. Young and old alike.
One of the greatest, most fun songs to listen to of all time. Loved it then, love it now.
Szuper
Wow cool to see the footage of this classic rock song. I was a teen of the '80s , when I first heard this song in that time , I thought it was an '80s British punk bands song. Even to me in '86 it sounded modern especially the guitar intro . Another song I took notice then and swore it was new was Deep Purple's Hush, little did I know it was from '66! Timeless classics.
Cheers from germany, Sept 15th 2024 😉🎉🍷🎶🍀♥️
I use to have to take a bus to downtown from the suburbs. On Fridays I would meet my boyfriend. This song reminds of that joy!
Why do I keep smiling while watching this? If I could turn back time, to the late sixties and the seventies! Best decade of all, now I can see.
😢me too.matey😅
I first heard this as a pre-teen in 1966. There are very few songs that I never tire of hearing and this is one of them. One of the greatest rock songs of all time!
stevie wright was given a beautiful gift and bou did he make the most of it there will never be another like him,I wished I had the chance to meet him,but his music will keep his memories alive.thankyou will be sadly missed god bless
Perfect pop. Generates a fun loving and joyful feeling. You feel “better” after hearing this. It’s a gift.
OUi, c'est un cadeau!
The first chart breaker ever from Australia. Brilliant pop song, music and lyrics. Featuring guitarist George Young, older brother of Angus and Malcolm. Thanks.
So amazing. Music history. It will never be forgotten.
Damn but Scotland made a great contribution to Oz music.
50's and 60's music will live forever.
Amazing beautiful song! Extremely well done.
Always loved this song since it came out. You can't be in a bad mood after listening to it. Love the music when I was growing up. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
In the sixties, this song was the anthem for working-class Australian youths. Still brings a tingle to my spine. Sad half of them are no longer here.
Easybeats for ever.
J Stone i love you comment , these guys were pure utter magic , ive always adored them , long live the 60s era im so happy i was their , memories to cherish lol Jane 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Dick Diamond , Harry Vanla and Snowy Fleet are alive. I loved this band
Yeah I just get a lump in my throat. Mourning the great time I didn't know I was having in the 60s in Australia. This group - the best.
Great time , I was the president of the Easybeats fan club
💕
Iam 72 so yes this is the fantastic music I grew up with !
Still play this everyday in Clubmoor, love little Stevie write, and only 16 when recorded this🤔✌️✌️👍👍👍
I remember this song in 67..I was 12..and I STILL LOVE THIS SONG to this,day...brings back good memories of the 60s!
I am with you brother the song sounds good to me also at 69
I was born in 67 and had never heard of this band or song until today, I feel like Ive been robbed
Loved this song absolutely awesome the easybeats was from Australia 🇦🇺 one of many antipodean groups to come out of Australia in the sixties the lead singer was gorgeous 😍 ❤️ I still listen to this very day love Karen xxxx
The perfectly constructed pop song! Delivered with supreme joy and energy from Stevie. What a treasure.
My mom was just diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia. I thank her everyday for introducing me to the fabulous music of the 60’s. This song just makes me smile.
there are ' reverse ' videos on youtube. maybe something helps.
He was SO energetic!! I love this song. Am 78 and I like to dance in the driveway to this song!
This singer is ridiculously cute. If I was a teenager in the 60s, I'd have a huge crush on him.
Me, too!!!❤❤❤
I have a huge crush on him right now
I was just a child, in the U.S.A., when this song was popular on the radio. It's takes me back to a carefree time. I love that feeling of nostalgia. I feel sorry for the young ppl today who probably do not or will not have songs that make them feel this way.
RIP the three members of The Easybeats
George Young (November 6, 1946 - October 22, 2017), aged 70
Stevie Wright (December 20, 1947 - December 27, 2015), aged 68
Dick Diamonde (December 28, 1947 - September 22, 2024), aged 76
You will be remembered as legends
George young is the oldest brother of Angus and Malcolm young
And not there are Three of them that is gone.
I heard that Harry Vanda passed away last , August 2022 . he was diagnosed with dementia, but died from cancer.
8 months after being diagnosed.
As far as I know of the only two left are Snowy Fleet. And Dick Diamond. .
This is one of the best quality songs of that era. Still holds up today.
Harry Vanda is still very much alive 77 years old.@@OldiesMomma
I just love those little dance moves that the singer pulls off.. totally unique
I caught his moves too, I'd say he was ahead of his time.
"Even my old man looks ________ good". One of the great smartass lines in rock n' roll history. Greatest single that ever came out of OZ
Smartass describes it perfectly!
Love the easybeats classic
The insinuating pause.
That old man... it is me now...
If we remember 1967, we all are.
My favorite song ever !! I was just a kid but this song always stuck in my head. Played the 45 so many times also listened to it on am radio- yes I'm old lol. Stevie Wright was so cute. Loved their outfits and shoes.
Great tune :-)
Fresh faced upbeat youngsters making fantastic music. What a blessing to have lived in the 60s.
Seems like everything was so innocent and simple back then.
Удивительно. Ведь это было за долго до Майкла Джексона?!!!
@@jimshea6593until drugs ruined this kid
Lovely song that makes you feel energetic and good, love his dance moves too…Stevie’s a great singer!
💗
I was 14 in 1967, I was a happy young girl, crazy about music and with a mind full of dreams. Happy days!!
I was 8 in 1967, we had the best days EVER.
15 and a drummer in a band. First gig (birthday party) we knew maybe 10 songs and split I think $15 (equal to about 125 bucks today) between 6 of us. Knew I should’ve scrapped the brass section to make it 4.
The young person we were remains with us forever Grace - loose yourself in music and it takes a while to come back to reality !

Bet you didn’t have all that dreadful angst they all seem to have now!
When I was in radio (the 80s) played this Friday at 5 o'clock. The weekend started with this song.
That's so cool
The energy knocks me off my feet 😍
I loved this song - I was13 when it came out and was living in Adelaide. We used to do crazy dancing when we went to parties, much like Stevie. It was such a fun decade - so carefree, rich musically and we wore fabulous clothes. I really miss those days but am glad I was around to enjoy them.
This is my first time seeing and hearing this and it made me so happy 😊 Such an uplifting song, I was smiling the whole time. The lead singer is such a cutie!
All the girls in the 60's thought he was a cutie here in Austraslia
He certainly was, and all the girls' in the UK thought so too.
This guy has awesome rock moves! I love how he played with the fact that the beams are clearly in the way.
Love them, love their beat! listenning to the easybeats all the time.
from Japan 🇯🇵
What a nice song. I made a friendship with a Australian guy, barely 70, here in Rio de Janeiro and he introduce me to this band, he said this band was like a beatles thing in Australia. Love it
if you like this you might like my brother’s music. his name is Stu Morris and 'Daisy' is a good song by him....
Upon listening to this video about 50 times in a row, I've concluded that it might be one of the greatest songs of all times!
This is the greatest song ever.
@@petermiller1839 I'm not sure about that. There's so many to choose from. But it is one of the best pop tunes to come out of the 60s.
When I was a kid in the 70s I heard this song all the time didn't know who it was then but I do now.
Close to one of the BEST
One of the fu**ing greatest songs, yeah. But JUST for real privileged sens of music....
I was born in 1971, but listen to a lot of 60's music. For me the 60's, 70's and 80's were the best decades for music and always will be. After that it hasn't so much gone downhill as fallen off a bloody cliff!!!
One of the catchiest, most uplifting tunes of the 60s pop/rock era.
I was 16 and in love with my first husband later in 1971....time flies....😢
Dto. !!!! Bin 74
Stevie Wright was the most energetic front man of all the 60's bands! Rest in peace Stevie.
He was; I was the president of the Easybeats fan club, Harry wife was a friend of mine
Stevie looks so much like Keith Moon that it's spooky.
he really communicated his personality with some subtle smiles and twinkling eyes. Wish we could all live healthy and happy until we're 100.
such a pity how he died
He's like the opposite of the other Steven Wright.
This has been a rough week for my family and I needed to hear something joyful and fun right now.....this is perfect to end the week.....love their energy and the music is part of happy memories of my youth....just fantastic in every way, the music, outfits and hair... LOVE THIS ~ 😊🎶🎶🎶
Hope all is going well with you and your family. ❤️❤️❤️
I WANT TO GO BACK, NOW.
O yes brilliant
Sending love. TH-cam is a tonic, so great that we can dip into it when we need a lift xx
Cameras having hard time keeping up with him
as a Merseysider growing up in the 60s... this was a band I loved to listen to. I at college when this was in the charts.
The whole production is worth watching and listening to again and again- the words, the outfits, the instruments, the positivity in their faces. Lithe and slender, every lad.
no massive porkers then all the guys and girls were slim
And as handsome as they could be.
absolutely agrree!
I agree, this brings back those sixtys magic...a time of joy and happiness and joy...I was 13....in plenty youth.
SO MUCH EXCELLENT MOST WONDERFUL MUSIC FROM THIS ERA. I’m 67 now
Love the dance. :) And those invisible amps. Anyway, good stuff, love this song.
They should have cracked America
th-cam.com/video/wQ0wW4K-ZIw/w-d-xo.html Be sure to check out Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits covering it with The Weeklings!
@@jooleepadoolie Nah got nothing on the original
Albert john paul the pope. Yes this song is timeless I wasn't even born then. I never get sick of hearing it on the radio. Cheers from a cheeky bastard in Australia.
If it was not for this song, and the Easybeats success there would be no AC/DC ten years later....
This is by far the most perfect song ever. It does not have to be your favorite, but you cannot deny it.
Unique guitar, Catchy lyrics, great melody, and back to that catchy guitar.
Its up, its down, its left, its right. Love it.
Perhaps the most uplifting feel good songs of any musical genre or era.
How delightful. Haven't heard this since i was a wee tad.
Love the singer's good natured enthusiasm! David Bowie paid tribute by including this on his "Pin Ups" album.
Springsteen sings this in his concerts when he was still doing concerts. He might even admit it's better than any song he wrote. Or not!
I MISS THE 60s AND THE 70s PLEASE COME BACK!
I wish aliens would visit me and take me back that's how much I miss those days 😥😥😥
now you got the old hippies - take a hard look at what a lifetime of drugs and alcohol does.

Yeah,pretty tangy.
Yep i got that to cool riff
Harry played some similarly great guitar stuff much later on "Ayla" by Flash & the Pan. No wonder that song was used for stripteases!
He really cranks the vocal energy up in the "Tonight" chorus, getting that edgy Lennon like growl, and it's so satisfying and perfect for the overall form of the song
Great example of a pre-chorus as well ... It's perfect guitar pop for the ages
I was born in 1975 and I wished that I could've experienced the '60s......a lot of fun stuff 🎉
As a teen in the 60’s, my boyfriend and I would always spend Friday together. When this song came out it became my instant favorite! 🤩🎶🎶🎶
Great days

This song would always get me going ! Man what a time.
@@jameswitham2141 Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to delve into the group more. Is there a particular collection you think would be best to get?

Anytime I'm feeling down I can watch this it'll always puts a smile on my face. Dang I wish I could be that guy for one night on stage and move like that 😊
Never mind that it's mimed - this wonderful song is beautifully captured here. Composition, pose and energy are wonderfully filmed. Couldn’t agree more! I was a teenager in the 60s and consider myself blessed to have been born when I was. Most of today’s popular music is absolutely ghastly by comparison and I would hate to be a teenager today.
Never get fed up of the 60s music I'm 65 now wheres the time gone 😟

Ah...yes last of the boomers..
Same experience. Snap ..12 to 65.
This song is addicting ! Love it ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Never gets old !

Checkout all their tunes fantastic - the Easybeats are the roots behind AC/DC as well.........
Henry Quenin All of them were born in the uk. Familys emigrated so im told.
Allan Armstrong. (Harry Vanda was Dutch.)
Henry Quenin I was 8 but yeah wasnt it a great time!
"I'm Scottish. My music's Australian." George Young.
