Was so thrilled to hear them a few months later, my only brush with anyone famous. Those were the days !!!

It was written by Graham Gouldman, before he found fame with 10cc. Gouldman wrote quite a few songs for other artists in the early days. For your love & Heart full of soul for The Yardbirds are a couple of other examples. Very underrated song writer.
