From what I am hearing here, this is really one nicely recorded song... a lot of dynamic and deep range on this song and really clear vocals -- surprisingly so.

I remember singing this song with 100 other people at The Bootleg Wine Bar, 1979. Yes indeed, we had fun in the city.

Shel Talmy the gentleman that produced this just passed. Genius producer of The Kinks, early The Who, early Davy Jones(David Bowie). RIP dear Shel thanks for all the amazing sounds you created. An American in London, he elevated studio production with experimentation on mic placements and # of mics, e.g. 12 mics for drums when conventional wisdom was 3 maybe 4 mics only.

1967 my favourite year for music. I was 9 years old, we had no TV or other distractions, with a 16 year old brother our house was full of wonderful music just like this. Almost 60 years later I still play 60s music most days. This song still sounds fresh after all these years 👍👍

Guitar player George Young was the brother of Angus Young en Malcolm Young, founders AC/DC. ( Agnus still cherish his Dutch roots. Has even a house in the dutch city of Aalten aswell as a Dutch wife Ellen van Lochem) Together with Harry Vanda ( Johannes van den Berg original from Holland ( same as bass player Dick Diamonde Dick van der sluis) George Young later formed the band Flash and the pan.
