Ooops! Yeah! Regrettably a gap in our (most important historical period ) área of Growth and when we were composed of such large Vast territory.
Except for this miss....all else has been a very good Colombian History. Many of us, Colombian have forgotten or never covered-learnt about this period in class. I learnt about it in my 40s!.🥴🤭😰

Colombia for me is Yo Soy Betty La Fea series, heart-robbing Jorge Enrique Abello, Ana Maria Orozco, Natalia Ramirez, Luis Mesa, Julian Arango, Lorna, aah never liked telenovelas until watched Betty. I love 💕 my other country that I was born in Palmira Colombia 🇨🇴 and very proud , I have two countries I adore first South America Colombia 🇨🇴 cuz I am American 🇺🇸 South South American that’s a fact without a doubt people from south tend to think and believe they are not American I find this out a lot they will argue no no I am Colombian they will say Colombian not American not I tell them we’re you born in South America? Sh yes thank that makes you Colombian South American or Boliva China, Brazil Argentina , etc etc makes you South American unless you come from Central America still makes you American North , South , Central wake up you are American period !
They really don’t see themselves as Smerican only relate to the country in the continent of South Smerica and say no no I am Colombian only or from Peru or Chile still your bud is American no doubt . They think 🤔 about it and think and finally say oh yes yes I am South American or Central American 🇺🇸 the American flag comes up for south or Central America always , anyhow yes many just don’t think they are American because they don’t come
