Story :-
OP leaves his girlfriend after she accidentally sends him some texts about him meant for her group chat. He goes to stay with his mom who sets him up with a woman, Emily. She’s nice but pushy. She follows OP home and gets pregnant, so they end up married. The baby is a girl and OP’s mom is upset. When the next baby is a girl, she gets even angrier. At Thanksgiving, she says Emily is no longer a part of her family. OP leaves with his wife, but she starts packing and tells him that his mom had been paying her, then leaves. OP calls his mom who confirms. OP is angry and decided to make life as difficult as possible for both women.

I would tack on compounded interest and/or lost profits from the day each investment was turned into cash they spent. But that might be just my petty side talking😇

@@mikimishisa yes and no. She was on her phone constantly and then got super defensive and refused to show him her text to him so he could confirm that she did or didn't send the text. Thats like classic cheater behaviour. The only reason to hide your texts from a long term partner is there must be something in there that you know your partner would not like or would be a deal breaker. Given how much and how easily women can cheat, everyone should have an open phone policy

Being born into a Ukrainian family the parents are really involved in their children’s lives especially my mother. It didn’t help that I had epilepsy growing up and that caused my mother to try and dictate every aspect of my life from where I went to who I hung out with. When I started dating my husband she tried to get him to break up with me by calling his mom and telling her I was sick, and when that didn’t work she wanted the pastor to talk to us and try to convince me to not get married so we eloped and got married anyways. Then when we were trying to have a baby she kept trying to discourage me from getting pregnant but in the end we had a beautiful baby girl and continue to try to live our own lives :)
The mother needs to realize that it’s the father that determines the child’s gender.

Someone needs to remind grandma, that is the father of that determines the gender of the child, not the mother. But yes, I hope he sues the crap out of both of them and with any luck, maybe she can look up Sally and beg her forgiveness. Even if she’s seeing someone else now or married, he should still apologise to her so that she knows what happened.

Why? She was a whole red flag too. She should've opened her phone and showed him. Not being willing to let your significant other look at your phone is a HUGE red flag. That means you're hiding something you dont want them to see, usually that means its something that'll end the relationship anyway. Open phone policy for relationships is the only way to go

OMG I am just so flabbergasted at what OP had to go through that I don't even know what to think. I really have no clue what I would do in his case as I never even thought that a mother could do something this despicable as this to her own son. I am glad that he is kicking the both of them out of his life and I hope he does get full custody and prevents either from seeing them ever again.

I called the texts being faked by mom early on. I'd feel sorry for OP but he let it all happen. He chose to eat the food, be out of shape, let Emily move in with him...etc. He could have refused to pay for the wedding.....or even get married. He just let his mother and Emily run his life instead of doing it himself. ALL of this is ultimately his own fault.
He certainly needs to contact Emilys parents.......that would be fun. And yes, an attorney. Go after both of them for fraud, theft, emotional manipulation, abuse....you name it. He should utterly destroy them. But most of all, he needs a lot of therapy.
Re GF found by OP's Mom: OP: Cheating is never okay, but 7 years is far too long to wait to put a ring on her finger. If you haven't put a ring on it within 3 years, the she has no obligation to be exclusive. You're not an AH, just not very bright when it comes to dating and you need to read some books like the one by Helen Greico that's sort of a guide to "dating and mating" and has those words in the title.

There were so many red flags here and it was so sad that OP didn't see them.
1. She goes back home with him and the agreement was a week, but she stayed beyond that without them talking about it?
2. She emails his boss to come with him on a business trip?
3. She manipulates him to pay for a wedding and using his savings?
4. Baby traps him.
5. Talks him into buying a home for his mother, so they can have a free babysitter?
6. Baby traps him again.
7. Treats him badly and he's afraid of upsetting her.
There were probably more red flags, but dang. I'm so sorry for OP, it's not easy having low self-esteem, especially when it comes to relationship. You're afraid that this person you're with is the only person that will ever want you, so you stay in the abusive relationship.
