One of the few cantatas that, due to it's challenging soprano part was recorded in the seminal Gesamt Werk by Harnoncourt/Leonhard with a female soprano Marianne Kweksilber.
On comprend bien en écoutant cette cantate comment Bach peut utiliser la voix comme un instrument commun , magnifié bien sur ; de surcroit , j'ajoute que le Bis est extrait de la cantate BW 82 "Ich Habe Genug"
Madame Hrkać nous offre une belle interprétation de cette cantate redoutable. La tessiture est ample, le timbre est coloré, beaucoup de souplesse et d'aisance. Quant à la trompette, elle suit péniblement la partition... Dommage.
Ich bin selbst (Kirchen-)Musiker und denke, dass ich mir qualifizierte Kritik hier erlauben darf: Die Stimme von Nikolina Hrkać verdient ganz besondere Beachtung; kommt sie in ihrer Leichtigkeit, mit der sie die Höhen meistert, doch recht weit an die letztlich absolute Meisterin Arleen Augèr heran, deren geniale Technik Hrkać ebenfalls noch erreichen dürfte. Vorsichtshalber hat man für die Instrumente die tiefere barocke Stimmung (415 Hz? ) gewählt, was den Höhen in den Koleraturen der Sopranistin sehr gelegen gekommen sein dürfte. Im Hinblick auf die Aufnahme in der Gesamtheit: Ein einziger Brei, hervorgerufen aus Tempi, die in keiner Weise dieser Kantate angemessen sind und von der qualifizierten Daratellung der kompositorischen Leistung Bachs ganz, ganz weit entfernt ist! Man mag gerne mit mir über die Rilling-Aufführungen streiten, aber seine Aufnahme mit Arleen Augèr halte ich für unübertroffen, und man sollte sie als Künstler gehört haben, bevor man sich selbst an diese geniale Bachkantate wagt. Ich war selten so sehr enttäuscht: Trifft doch großes stimmliches Können auf mangelndes Musikverständnis beim Rest dieses Kroatischen Ensembles (wobei die sinnlose schwarze Maske der Cellistin hier ein absolutes NoGo darstellt). I sam sam (crkveni) glazbenik i mislim da si ovdje mogu dopustiti kvalificiranu kritiku: Posebnu pažnju zaslužuje glas Nikoline Hrkać; Po lakoći svladavanja visina sasvim se približila ultimativnoj apsolutnoj majstorici Arleen Augèr, čiju će briljantnu tehniku Hrkać također vjerojatno postići. Iz predostrožnosti je za instrumente odabrano niže barokno ugađanje (415 Hz?), koje je moglo biti vrlo zgodno za visoke u koleraturama soprana. S obzirom na snimku u cjelini: Jedna kaša, nastala od tempa koji ni na koji način nisu prikladni za ovu kantatu i vrlo su, vrlo daleko od kvalificiranog prikaza Bachova skladateljskog postignuća! Ljudi bi se možda voljeli raspravljati sa mnom o Rillingovim izvedbama, ali smatram da je njegova snimka s Arleen Augèr nenadmašna, a kao umjetnik trebali ste je čuti prije nego što ste sami pokušali s ovom briljantnom Bachovom kantatom. Rijetko kad sam bio tako razočaran: veliki glasovi susreću se s nerazumijevanjem glazbe u ostatku ovog hrvatskog ansambla (iako je besmislena crna maska čelista ovdje apsolutno zabranjena).
