Thanks for the compliment. There will be more updates with more buildings yet to come and track laying, which might be on the next video. Kind regards , Dylan
Thank you very much, I like watching Chandwell, he's very clever. There will be a Dylington Christmas video coming soon, and another 009-layout one, hopefully some time over Christmas. I just need a little bit of time to get more done to it. Kind regards, Dylan
Super stuff. Looking forward to your next installment of the Dylington Light Railway! I will be sharing your videos with my son. I'm sure he'll find them inspiring to see such good work and video presentation from someone just a bit older than he is. 😃
Thank you for the wonderful comment. I hope your son enjoys watching the video as much as I enjoyed making it. Hopefully, there will be another update coming soon. Kind regards, Dylan.
very good work dylan ... youve got a lot more patience for detail than i have ... keep it up ... im looking forward to see your progress ... i hope granddad is helping you ... regards mark ...
A really good start to your railway, the two buildings you have completed so far are superb. Looking forward to more updates soon. Chinchilla sand is a good alternative to the ballast for texture on buildings, it's a bit finer and more to scale. I've used it on my layout.
Dylan says thank you, and that's a great piece of advice about using the Chinchilla sand. He says we've got to buy some to try. He's started to lay the track, so there'll probably be something for him to film in the next couple of weeks... Cheers James 🙂👍
Hi Lee, Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and your kind comments. I'll be showing Dylan all the latest comments when I see him later. There will be more videos coming as he progresses with the build ... cheers James 🙂👍
Fantastic work on the stone cottage Dylan 🤩 brilliantly painted and weathered, too 😇 looking forward to seeing more of the new Dylington 🤞 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️

Thats incredible!!! amazingly talented dont think i could create something that detailed from scratch a artist in the making! Cant get over how real they look good work look forward to the next one your layout will definatley be a show stopper!
Those houses look fantastic, well done 👍 You could also adopt the style of an absolute maniac which with get similar results. Two things though… 1. Are you sure that mucky brown paint isn’t some of your grandads out of date custard? 2. I’ve been pronouncing it Dye-lington and today found out it’s pronounced Dillington anyway I can’t reprogram my brain so still gonna pronounce it dyelington like some kind of man on a mad mission! 🚀
Second comment is also a fella from the Emerald Isle but living in France! You truly have an international audience ! I saw your completed buildings before and was really impressed but it’s great to hear you explaining your process. You have a super voice and timing for this. Genuinely looking forward to see how it all progresses. A big WDS from me! Ian (WDS = W-ell D-one S-on!)
Fantastic builds Dylan. Really enjoyed seeing how you put them together. I use petite properties too but cover them in wills plasticard for the brick detail, just because it's quicker than using clay. Great update. Keep up the good work. Atb Andy

Thank you, Andy. Petite Properties are great kits to add your own finish to, aren't they. He's using the clay as I think he likes to get messy 😁👍
