Thank you, Rachel. Dylan will be pleased you like it, especially the stop-motion he wanted to do that, to try and make his video a little different from the normal ones 🙂👍
Thanks for visiting. There will be more updates to come over the months ahead as the layout develops. I hope you find some of our other videos of interest, one of are popular ones is the Dukes of Hazzard stop-motion animation video. Thank you again for stopping by 🙂👍
Thank you, I'm pleased you're enjoying following my journey. Hopefully, there will be another update coming soon. I'm hoping to get more work done on it over the holidays. Kind regards, Dylan
Thank you for the amazing comment, and thank you for the shout-out on your podcast. I have made amendments to the plan and they will be revealed next episode. Kind regards Dylan
I really like the well thought out plan and the logic behind how the railway works, but still with thought to changing as things progress. Looking forward to seeing the custard mines 😁
He'll be pleased you like his update and his plans. He's been working on the plans for ages, and as you can see, he's getting stuck in and is trying to do everything himself. In fact, so far apart from building the baseboard, he has done everything himself. Oh, and he's already thinking about changing something since he's filmed the video. Well, he did mention the custard factory in the video... Cheers James 😁👍
Hi, Karl and Debbie. Thank you for the kind comments. I'm pleased you enjoyed the video and like the track plan. There might be some small alterations to the plan as the build progresses. Kind regards, Dylan
Thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed the video and like the plans. There will be more updates when I get a chance to do more work on it. Kind regards, Dylan
very nice looking track plan and well thought out, the track screws are great i dont use pins at all now, i look forward to seeing the next update. Tom
Thank you for the kind comments. The screws were easy to use and reduces the chances of damage to the track. Plus it's easier to take the track up if you need to doesn't it. Kind regards Dylan
Hi Carl, Dylan says thank you for the kind comments. I must admit it's interesting to see how he's approaching the build and that he is filming his progress ... Cheers James 🙂👍
Thank you for the kind comments, I'm pleased you like the track plan. I'm thinking of making a few small alterations to it, so it might look a little different to the plan once the track is down. Kind regards, Dylan
¡Hola buenas tardes Dylan! I’m up to date, after watching both construction episodes of your 009 layout. Very well narrated and, your no nonsense, uncomplicated design methods should be something other modellers should adopt - me included. Using those screw fittings to plan your track geography, is a prime example of you using a method seen on line (I suspect Charlie at Chadwick) which, in the long run, will save you time and costs as you are a avoiding damaging the track in the planning process. I’m looking forward to future updates. Un saludo. Gary
Thank you for the kind comments, I'm pleased you've enjoyed watching my videos. The track screws have worked really well, as I have already had to remove some track after I altered the plans. Kind regards, Dylan
Well done Dylan excellent work on the update video and your new layout nice track set up those track screws sure do make it easier and quicker laying the track I prefer them to track pins as it makes it easier should you need to take sections of track back up again for any reason. Looking good so far 🙂👍
Looking awesome dylan! I may look into 009, i think its such a cute scale! I look forward to your next update and seeing the progress that you will make! :)
Thank you for the great comment. I would recommend 009 it's a really nice scale to work with. It feels like working with N guage but using 00 builds. There might be some more buildings completed next episode. Kind regards, Dylan 😁👍
Nice video Dylan, it would be better to pin the track down temporary rather than screw the track down so you do not damaged your track. Are going to use cork under your track when it is laid down? It makes the trains run quieter and gives you a raised track bed for when you ballast your track and it looks better as well 😊
Thank you, I've only put the odd screw in at the moment to hold it in place, and I haven't screwed them right in. I don't know if I'm going to use cork or not. Being as it's my first attempt at building a layout, it will probably only be a practice one. Some of the track is second-hand to keep the cost down. But we'll see how it goes. Kind regards, Dylan
Thank you, Dylan is pleased you enjoyed the video. The buildings are kits made by Petite Properties, which you but on your own finish. He explains what he did to create the finishes in part 1 ... Cheers James 🙂👍
