Have owned my a6000 for some time now and never used it 😔 Have gotten used to and spoiled with smartphone convenience and I have always been intimated with setting up an actual camera even though I grew up with them. This was so helpful!! I def want to get a lens that has lower aperture F numbers at some point but the quality still looked amazing when you did it. If only that screen swung all the way out.

I've some question, Sir. I'm an amateur in camera.
1) Is there significant differences between the aperture and movie mode?
2) I using SDHC memory that can't shoot XAVCS just AVCHD.
I've been recording with 60p 28M (PS). Is that a mistake? Because you said (in 1:20) that the 24p is the highest quality of that format.

Theres a lot of settings u didnt mention luckily i found a page in the settings that includes the entire manual along wit tips on how to achieve certain results. Great video quality, keep working.

Heey! I have an a6500 and what I mainly do is vlogs, but filming in 4K saves a lot of space. Do you think doing it on XAVC S HD would be good quality? Also, is 60p50m, 30p50m or 24p50m better? Sorry for all the questions, I can't find an answer anywhere! Thank you! 🥺❤️

Mohamed Hadad you can change setting from PAL to NTSC So you will get The options 24 fps
For the record settings, instead of 60p and 24p my a6000 50p and 24p. Does your point still stand about choosing the lower number for a more cinematic look?

How would I send videos to my iPhone if the file isn’t MP4. Or even to my laptop. If it’s with the settings with AVCHD?
Why do you use avchd rather the xavc-s. Also i use your settings and im using a gimbel. A lot of moments when i turn even just going straight the footage jitters. Its annoying because ive tried so many different settings and its always the same. I have a SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I Memory Card 170MB so its not my card. I had similar issues with a gopro before using a gimbel also
Nice video! Tried these settings but during low light it becomes incredibly laggy. Any tips?
It's because the ISO is probably in auto mode, and it is set to a very high ISO which causes the video to have grain dot effects and lag. Make sure to vlog or film in manual mode.
Mattias Welamsson It’s probably your shutter speed. If you are shooting 24p try locking your shutter to 50. If it’s 30p = 60 and 60p = 120. When the shutter drops too low by trying to compensate for low lighting it will be laggy every time. This is why in low light situations people opt for a prime lens with low aperture that can let in lots of light without decreasing shutter or increasing iso. Low shutter = lag and High ISO = grainy/noisy video. If you are stuck with only the kit lens do not use zoom in low light or the aperture will be way too high.

which one is better canon m50 or sony a6000? in my country both are at the same price
How do you safe your videos if you're recording in AVCHD format? The only way i can send my videos to my phone or anything else is by recording in MP4 format. Can you help me with that? I've tried using the playmemories app and imaging edge mobile app but none work for me unless i record in MP4 format
Pro tip: if you're from Europe than change the PAL to NTSC so that you have more options regarding framerate ;)

I don´t have those options on "record settings". I just have: 50i 24m / 50i 17m / 50p 28m / 25p 24m / 25p 17m.

It means your camera is set in PAL mode. To change this you have to set in NTSC mode to it shows you 24p, 30p and 60p. Here a video that shows you how to do it. th-cam.com/video/0085A-km2xw/w-d-xo.html Be careful when change because it format your memory card so do a back up before.
why did you chose AVCHD? isn't XAVC S better?
