    My younger brother told me one day that he hated to read!! I handed him the Coldest Winter Ever and told him that if he didn't like it after the first chapter that I would give him $20. We can call Angela a lot of things but we can't deny that she doesn't do her research, she's always up to date with listening to people's music and always makes the effort to read people's books.. Can't really say the same with Charlamagne and envy

      +hanna said that's very true. I used to talk shit about her cause I felt like she only focused on gossip when in reality she just focuses on whatever is going on with the guest they're interviewing. She's always the one Envy refers to when asking about the person's new book or album. Props to her for actually doing her job. Envy needs to step it up, and Charlamagne is nothing more than a character so we don't expect him to practice real journalism.

In this instance, saying "black women" was like saying, this is why I love "my sisters, African American women, etc." He meant it as a compliment. He just happen to say "black women" that's all.

    I would love for her to be more visible. This current generation is missing a woman's brilliance like hers. But let's get into how she was NOT feeling Charlamane at ALL. She barely looked at him at all during the whole interview.

    • @mercedes0602
      @mercedes0602 8 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      I noticed that, too! She didn't really seem to engage Charlamagne at all. Sometimes he can be rude and interrupt people while they're talking.

    • @australiamak2488
      @australiamak2488 8 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      charlamagne didn't really engage her with effective questions. It seemed to me that they let Angela take the lead on this one. Plus, at times it seemed as though charlamagne didn't do effective research. He got the number of books she wrote wrong, and misquoted her. So really wouldn't expect for her to engage him. Especially after she mentioned that she saw the discussion about booty eating.

I was 15 and someone gave me THE COLDEST WINTER EVER, for once in my life I couldn’t wait to get home and turn the to the next page. I locked myself in my room, got my Pringle’s, laid on the floor and read, for once I felt empowered, smart and part of a world where I wasn’t alone, there was someone out there going through my same adversaries and spoke a language that I’d spoke. Thank you SISTER SOULJA, I wish u peace and love😘😘😘
