    For those installing a steering wheel on these Corollas; use a round barrel Bic pen to release the internal springs in the steering column. The butt end of the pen works far better than a flathead screwdriver. Make sure you have the steering perfectly straight and don't mess up the clock spring. They are a PITA to put back right and the dealer will charge you almost the price of the steering wheel to wind it back up to factory spec.

    Automatic transmission.......*clicks off video*....JK......kinda really sharp build though. I'm digging the Corolla and thinking about selling my WRX for a down payment on GR model when it drops.

      Haha, that’s a cool idea. It would be a smooth transition going from a wrx to a gr since it’s a turbo all whee drive. Except now your engine won’t blow up

      @@noicecars3052 well it depends on your location, becuase our Toyota was accepting deposits and we got in first, but chances are if your Toyota has been accepting deposits for a while you may not get one because with they amount they are making every dealer will only get about 3 cores and one circuit. So you would have to be first.

    MAN I HOPE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS COMMENT.......
    My uncle bought a 2020 Toyota Corolla SE when they first came out he wanted to get the Apex model in a 6-speed manual but unfortunately couldn't find one and ended up having to settle for a Auto se sedan BUT .......
    Let me say this dude the intake is definitely definitely worth it yes you're not going to game crazy horsepower but you will definitely be able to hear it that is one of the first mods we did on his car...
    And the K&N short ram intake that you can get is probably one of the best ones on the market if you do not want to go with the full cold air that goes down in the bumper we didn't because it rains too much here in Seattle but..............
    The K&N is the only short ram intake that has a really good quality heat shield that blocks It off from heat AND STILL USES THE STOCK AIR DUCT TO PULL IN ARE FROM THE FRONT GRILLE!!!!!
    It made his car sound so so so so so so so much more aggressive and we also wrapped the intake tube in the gold reflective heat tape to also keep intake air temperatures down
    And he ended up putting it on the dyno he actually did gain I believe it was 6 to 8 horsepower just from that mod
    Then next we did the cat back exhaust and you can still hear the intake clear as day it still has a deep throaty sound and now he has a header as well you can still hear the intake
    Honestly it was the best first mod and even if you already have exhaust and headers it's still worth it to do it it makes the car sound way more aggressive when it's coming towards you
    You really noticed it when you put it in sport mode and manual mode and run it through the 10 gears that you can ship through
    But yeah man nice car sorry for the long comment I was just trying to tell you it definitely is worth it to do the intake if you haven't already and K&N is probably the best short ram on
    I'm not sure if I understood you right but it sounds like you did a partial exhaust or did you do a full Cat-Back when you got all those pieces and welded it together???
    If it's only partial like a axle back I highly suggest adding the rest of the piping man and doing a header and a full 2.5 in exhaust all the way through because that made that car breathes so much better it really complimented the intake and by doing those three modifications my uncle was able to put down 185 to 189 at the wheels

    • @Limitlessautodesigns
      @Limitlessautodesigns  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the detailed comment, I did read it all!😂 I actually sold the car a little over a year ago but I have a 22, xse 6 speed hatch. And I got a cold air for it. I don’t notice any power gains and I put the intake on after I did the exhaust so it’s hard to say if it makes a difference in terms of sound. But I went with the injen intake and I love how it looks. I would not have paid the 300-400 price for what I got but I bought it used for 120 so I’m happy with it for sure.

    • @Limitlessautodesigns
      @Limitlessautodesigns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot for the support Steven I really appreciate it, and yes we did unplug the battery because you don’t want the airbag to blow up on you. So basically there are three metal tabs on the steering column and it takes some time but when you poke them with a screw driver you will see a corner of the airbag pop out. And once you get all three tabs pushed it will be fully disconnected, then there are two plugs on the back of the air bag to be removed. Then a single Allan bolt holding in the steering wheel and once you remove all that you can just move over all the buttons from the only steering wheel to the new one. Glad I was able to help you find a new steering wheel!!

      Exactly my thought. He went so far to mod his car with all that ricer looks and mods and all that cost...and yet it's a CVT. A stock manual is more fun to drive than all of the mods he did to his CVT. Really can't get why people doing so over the board on modding their cars and yet they picked auto when there's a manual option. It's not like the auto in this car is faster either. I appreciate people who drive stock manual over a ricer auto. Kinda like getting all the high end keyboard, mouse, screen, fans, etc, for your new computer but you don't bother to get the better processor. Most of the time people do that is they don't know how to drive manual or are really bad at it, but still want a "fast" looking car. Many of those mods don't make a difference in the car's performance (especially this is not even a hot hatch), mainly just for looks.

      @@carbrickscity dude, it’s a daily driver. Let him put his money where he wants, it’s odd that your fixated on what someone else wants to do with theirs, worry about doing what you want with yours

    • @carbrickscity

      lol I never said I was worried or whatever, stop assuming. It's just a comment lol It's funny since you don't direct to the original top comment as well, and there are some likes he got too. If anything, your comment applies to you as well. i.e. it’s odd that your fixated on what someone else's comments, worry about doing what you want with yours lol Just becos it's a daily driver doesn't mean it has to be auto. And if it's just a daily car, why mod it so crazily...if he didn't go so far to modding his car, pretty sure no one would care or comment on him getting a cvt. But it's not, that's why it's weird and people gonna comment on it. Get over with it. It's not you to judge whether people should comment or not. It's called freedom. And you are judging on my comment too. Same goes for you.
