I’ve had this same issue. But I also found out that the connection for the fuse box where the fuse plugs into wasn’t making good connections. There would be times my radio turns on but no sounds. As soon as I wiggle the fuse I got sound. So I wrapped the prongs on fuse with foil paper ( just a lil bit), plugged it in and haven’t had an issue. So my guess has to be the connection in the fuse box.

Mine was doing that as well. However, the issue with mine is the Bluetooth module is faulty or just stuck in initializing.

Yes it sucks. It requires a new radio. Since they are still being used they are pretty much the same price new. I was told $700

Yeah, you will need to continue doing that or get a new radio. We had a sweet deal with ours. The dealership where we bought it, never registered it under their ownership before selling it to us. So this 300 is registered somehow as a Canadian vehicle. So we have been dealing with what comes with that, no one wants to touch it as its registered as a Canadian vehicle. So we will have an episode of our ordeal once is all resolved.

The way to resolve it is to buy a new radio and have it programmed to the car. If you buy a used one, first they tend to be about the same price of a new one and you will still have to program them. Most times the dealership has to do it for you.

A replacement radio is what is needed. I was focused on my Lexus GS so I haven’t installed the nee radio.

That was the hands free module, not the amp

yes, however. My hands free module is also not working. Chrysler told me I need to replace the entire unit. I am looking for alternatives.

You will need to replace the radio as once the pulling the battery terminal stops working. it doesn’t work for me anymore. I burned the fuse from pulling the battery terminal. Once replaced it worked a couple of times and then it stopped working all together. so a new radio is needed. It sucks.

If it’s not a fuse then you will need to replace the radio
