Shizuka's demeanour definitely brings the show to another level. Her enthusiasm is absolutely catching and adorable, not to mention that she has the face and voice of an angel to go with it.
went to nagoya few summers ago, solely for the purpose of kissaten hunting and having a morning set at different cafes. majority of them came with coffee, toast, boiled egg, and a type of spread. the anko spread is the typical ones though i just always go with butter or margerine or jam.

Just subscribed, great quality video but I was going say that man cannot live on bread alone so does any of those places you showed have meat or fish with the breakfast. That danish looked like it was made on 食戟のソーマ.

Cormorant fishing in Inuyama isn't the far from there. I highly recommend it. There's a good view of the castle from the fishing boat. I've never seen a video of it, but I witnessed it in person. It witnessed it in person in 2008.
fairly light and practically free food... better on the waistline and wallet even if you pay for options ... the Nagoya breakfast is reminds me of European continental, coffee and simple accompanyment compared to English full breakfast or American breakfast

I enjoyed this episode so much. The egg salad on the thick toast, I will try that tomorrow. We have loaves sliced that way here in the store. The egg custard looks great I will attempt to make that I think it's steamed in the small souffle dish. Ice cream in the morning? Why not? I have not seen the boiled egg in the cup since my childhood. The warmth and hospitality of the vendors is so long past here. Every time I see this I want to go to Japan and never come back. Shizuka did it, I can too. As always thanks for the view of this wonderful place.

Komeda breakfast is famous but lunch menus are also wild. You get so much food for reasonable price you’ll need to take long nap afterwards. Miso Katsu sandwich is famous there you must give it a try.😊

Love shokupan with egg or tuna mayo...normally I will get it from Daily Yamazaki.... The famous 7-11 egg sandwich taste a bit too buttery rich for me

Soya sauce will compliment with the hard boiled egg. Even more so with soft boiled egg.
our favorites are soy sauce or just a pinch of salt.

Japanese toast bread is not just any bread. It equates to specialty bakery bread in the US and not your typical American sandwich or toast bread...
We think the consistency is pretty similar but the thickness is way different compared to common western Toasts.
We love it and we will come back for more ! :)

We think Komeda`s coffee is a coffee shop for everyones budget and even spread across Japan. You even receive free meal it could not be better :)

In Sicily there is also sorbet ice for breakfast and you can dip it with a brioche :) It is quite good
