Hi Mel! I love that you mix the eating with luxury shopping - my kind of day. 😄I was always curious about Brand Off because I would see it on eBay but was always skeptical about authenticity, but now I know it is legit. It is overwhelming to see the inventory and it makes me wonder how much they sell so they are not overloaded.🤔😬 I really also enjoyed the history about the Nagoya Castle and I MUST go to the Alice in Wonderland-themed place because I am a HUGE fan of the book. Finally, the attention to detail to the fruits and sweets and decor sets Japan a cut above the rest. We were planning on visiting Japan in November, but there was a snag in our plans, and we will definitely refer to your vlogs before we do! Thank you for so an informative vlog - as usual!
I do dual purpose these days, if it's NYC for medical or work, make it a long weekend: business day Thursday Friday and nights and the weekend for food and fun! Shopping "pre-loved" and vintage is so much easier in NY after you find your favorite shops, which definitely took more than one day!
I am loving your travel vlogs Mel! I love to go to Hawaii, and traveling in Europe is also a fave but I have never been to Asia before so seeing part of Japan through your eyes is wonderful! Your vlogs are a fantastic mix of food, shopping and sightseeing, my three favorite activities!! And the editing of your videos is next level! I could watch for hours! So fantastic! 👏🏼👏🏼
Wow Mel, I think NAGOYA is my fave Japan vlog of yours. It really shows much of Japan’s culture & on the other hand modern lifestyle (with all the PreLoved stores et,,,) 🇯🇵😍 Japan should be my on top of my bucket list 😍🤍 thanks for sharing 🙏🏼🧡
Thank you for posting this! This vlog was so much fun! These are some of the things I want to see if I get to visit Nagoya(dream trip)😍🥰. Beautiful food, shopping "pre-loved" looks nice and unhurried compared to the crush in Tokyo. That pink Garden Party and the gold one in Book-Off with the shoulder straps were fabulous, nice catch spotting them! You have such a great eye for resale shopping! Love seeing the prices, overall seems much cheaper than US "pre-loved" luxury stores. (When I sold my old vintage Gucci fabric logo tote bag I only got $500 US but the store marked it up for resale at $2500)
First and third vintage shops 🏬 were much more affordable than the second one with an impressive array of choices, Dear Mel. Love ❤️ these Japan 🇯🇵 VLOGS series of yours 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Loving your vlogs! Thank you for taking us along! I think the Nagoya Ansand could be red bean paste "sandwich". Red bean paste being anko, thus AN-SAND. Sand being short for sandwich. 😊 I'll be heading to Nagoya in December and so excited that you covered there too!
Another great Japan Vlog. I so miss Japan & their eateries. I could never build the nerve to eat the overly sized fruit....too abnormal for me. Hope this comment makes it in, my last one didn't. Thanks for bringing us along.🧡🍂
Hi Mel , Will you planning go to Outlet in Japan 🇯🇵? For sure I will visit outlet in Feb 2025 with my son he will be transfer students come to Japan 🇯🇵 Nagoya university ❤from 🇨🇦
sorry, I do not understand what it is about a Hermes bag, they are so ugly, not very classy at all. I just don't understand it, is it me???? or no?????????????????????????
What holiday destination is next on your list? Hope you guys have been enjoying my Japan travel vlogs xx

How do you maintain you lenght and shine to your hair? I am 40 and it is a challange.
Too bad. Felt really bad knowing I am from Nagoya too.
Please tell your husband he has a lovely, sexy, deep voice. Very manly. ☺
