Great tutorial! So happy that you didn't edit out all the adjusting and fiddling you needed to do because seeing that was extremely helpful also. Had NO idea that you could use a bias binder foot for quilt sewing. The stitching on both the front and back turned out beautifully. Like this method so much better than the secondary stitch-in-the-ditch method of quilt binding. Can't wait to try it!
This is absolutely the best tutorial I have found that explains the WHOLE process! Thank you so much! I've always wanted to use the binding foot but was terrified to do it. I've also never used the edge joining foot. Now I'm excited to finish my quilt, haha!
I appreciate you showing how to use foot all the way through the project. Most demonstrations show only partial way. For a beginner it is the best way to learn.. Thank you
Thanks for the video, I was gifted the pkg of sewing feet and the binding set. I don’t know how to use them all. Most video only talk don’t show the actual process, I loved how you demonstrated this binding foot. It was very informative and I can tell you I have put to use your tips and I can proudly say “I can do it”. Thank you. Hope you demonstrate more!
Thank you so very much, Today I saw your video showing how to turn the corner on a quilt - wow loved it. Later I tried it on some practice fabric and it worked like a charm. I had no idea how to do that so I am rather thrilled with your instructions. I will subscribe.
Great tutorial. Very helpful. Can you help me understand why you switched to the stitch-in-the-ditch foot at the end? Couldn't you continue to use the binder foot?
I'm struggling! After adjusting the fabric/binding sandwich, I can't sew because the front of the presser foot is elevated. Should I use a longer stitch length? I REALLy want to make this work.
Thank you for this excellent video. Instructions were clear and you took your time. Can I use these feet on wider binders? I have a couple of quilts that I made for my grand daughter that I used a wider binder. I had to hand sew them down which took me forever.
I like that you serged the quilt before binding it.

Very useful video
Very useful
thanks 🙏
THANK YOU!
Wow ty
On the website it says "Note: this foot is not for quilting, quilt bindings are too thick to go through the foot." I'm confused.
In general, quilts are bound with on-grain strips which could potentially be too thick, this quilt is being bound with bias tape.
Thank you
It seems like you had a lot of trouble with the foot button, but it is definitely worth it.
