I went to a store today just to drop off my application and the hiring manager asked me to just wait because it was busy and about ten minutes later he met with me and interviewed me on the spot. Like this video suggests, I was asked which scent is my favorite and then was given that scent in a lotion, told to study the facts about the scent (the notes in it, the pros of the lotion, etc) and then was told to sell it to him. It was a bit nerve-wracking since it was done on the spot (I was given about five minutes to read the back and learn it) but overall it was MUCH easier than I'd anticipated and was told at the end I'd been hired!

I have an interview tomorrow in the morning! I love BBW and have tons of products from there. I’m very nervous since I’m shy. I hope it goes well. If I do get the job, I’ll be a seasonal part time job employee.

I got the job! I went yesterday and watched videos almost the whole time I was there…. I didn’t finish so I have to come back Saturday. Before I went home I did my I-9 form and I had to do other forms as well online and answer some questions. Once I finish Saturday with the last of my video I’ll be on the floor learning what to do.
I told them i recently got laid off and i need a job. 2nd thing i told them, i know how to work the POS, I know how tobread Planograms, I was also a nail techician. So i know my products. I start this friday. Simple, Be real, Dont bullshit and feed the interviewers more generic bullshit. 3rd, Something ingo by at every job, "We all gotta start somewhere"
Im also a dude. An asian dude, They need more diversity in the company, So all the men out there, dont be afraid to apply, They cant always hire women to work, its sex discrimination.
I work at Bath and Body Works and my interview was easy as pie and I think I did say I wanted to work there because of the store environment. She did ask me my favorite and I said Sweet Pea which is not my favorite it was just the first thing I thought of haha.
That’s what I said and when they asked how well I know the product I told them I don’t but that won’t stop me from learning about it and selling it

I think it’s better to be honest and say you’ve never really been in the store but that won’t stop you from learning and understanding the products

Hand in the resume with $100 ripped in half with a note saying you’ll get the other half when I’m hired

I went to the mall near me in New Jersey and applied for several stores I walked in the store and the associate and she said to come back in a few days I actually already found a job And had walked back in to buy soap for my first day to smell good and the same associate asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager and when I meet the manager she was one of the top 5 most kindest individuals I ever meet and the offer was decent just finished my first week hope to be able to stay on as a permanent associate after the holiday season realize the selling can be rough at times but I’m a natural salesmen
I live in California. I have a certificate for customer service. A high school diploma with a no convictions. id love to work fir Bath and Body Works ....maybe someday.

@@gabbyzeret62 hi! It’s been a good job. The interview process is basically you pick out a product you can talk about and go over some selling things during the interview. (Go for ingredients/key notes on the back of the product you choose and talk about how it would smell, performance (like how it makes your skin feel) etc.) Every store is different so I’m not sure what questions you’ll get asked but be prepared to talk about typical customer service things like dealing with upset customers, any experience you’ve had, how to sell product, why you want to work at bbw, etc.

Well.. I’ve already had to interviews for asm at bath and body works. Will there be a 3rd I really wanna workthere . It’s been it’s 5 days since my first interview even tho it’s weekend added. But i really hope they would just call me and say your hired !

What they asked you
Pooja fashion style: they asked me to sell them a product, why I want to work here. I said I come her alot and how cool it would be to earn money at a place where I spend money. It wasn’t a group interview (I’m guessing due to COVID) other questions were. Name one time you went above and beyond for a customer , what motivates you, that’s it. It was pretty fast and I got the job✨☺️
