I hope you are all doing well and understand that I did enjoy working at BBW but not with this particular person. Once she came into the store things changed for me. I would always check which manager I was working with. Of course I never mentioned it because I was still working there. Now I can be able to tell you guys a lot more.

That was my same situation. We got a new manager at my location and she began cutting my hours, so I quit. The only person I told that I was quitting was the actual manager that interviewed me and hired me. Since then I found a better paying job and working for Bath & Body Works is a thing of the past. I wish you all the luck in the world. ❤️
I notice this is what she was doing, giving hours to who she liked. No hours possible to those she didn’t and maybe wanted us to quit.

Absolutely agree ! I worked with a horrid manger and was about ready to quit due to poor support but he ended up demoting me.. the pay is less but my stress level is way down and now have a wonderful manger who actually cares about people .
I have walked off jobs before and it never stopped me from getting another. What God has for you is for you. I will always watch and support your channel because I love your personality! God bless!❤

I had to walk away from Bath and Body works 2 years ago. I enjoyed working there and it was so hard to walk away from the discounts, gratis, getting things first, and MOS. I had to let go and focus on my full time job and health. You will be ok friend. The Lord will help you on your new path. ❤❤❤

Oh hun I understand this so well! I was never scheduled, then scheduled randomly for one day… then called the day before shift that the company was moving in a different direction 🤷🏻♀️ but it’s a blessing to be able to share other things!!

I, a current Associate, subscribed to your channel and will definitely support you on your socials on principle. SMs and/or ASMs can make or break their location. I am the Front-of-Shop Top Seller at a Tier 1 (lowest tier in terms of store designations) store with an SM whose track record is 2 failed stores (closed stores due to dramatic drop in sales volume under her leadership). Our store has an EMBARRASSING Keyholder & Sales Associate turnover rate that has the attention of not only the District Manager but other stores in our district. I empathize completely with you and know that oftentimes senior management can sabotage themselves by not being professionals and not doing what is in the best interest of the store and team, as opposed to checking their own egos at the door to trust their team. Our SM has done nothing but undermine our new ASM because she still hasn’t gotten over the firing of our last ASM (she committed a flagrant violation and breached our code of conduct and ethics) who was her little “bestie”. At this very moment I have applied for transfer to other stores because I cannot see any potential for professional growth in Brand at that store location. It’s a shame too because the entire team can see where the improvements need to happen, but the SM refuses to change her ways.
It is a shame how one person can make a big bad difference in a store. Sometimes upper management doesn’t see that.

My granddaughter made it through surgery today at 5 days old! The intestinal bypass was built and now is time for healing. Praise the Lord! 🙏 🙏 Thank you for your prayers they were much appreciated!

Work politics can bring difficulties. I'm sorry to hear you went through that. But! I love your belief and faith God/ Source that sometimes we have to lose something to make room for new things to happen. When we have these experiences, it does not always feel wonderful...later on we are able to see how the change was actually a steppingstone. Even an evolution for our lives and soul. I don’t work with them anymore either because the system took me off as I wasn’t getting any hours at all. Can’t wait to see what you have planned.
I would say the only reason the system didn’t do the same for me was because I would get called in.

Good for you for quitting, if you don’t have to work and your finances are good, than why deal with the BS? I just finished my masters and have so many years invested in my hospital job that I couldn’t quit just like that. But trust me I HAVE DREAMT of just throwing my work badge at my manager. I bet she was shocked when you just quit like that 😂
I know what you mean sweet friend. When you have those higher positions and so much invested, it’s a lot harder to do this. I know someone so close to me with a very high position that is working hard in the side to start their own business so they can leave the BS.
Bath and body works SUCKS for this. This there way of firing ppl without actual having to do it. Unbelievable. If they had to do layoffs then just say that. Don’t just stop putting someone on the schedule and don’t say anything. I’m disgusted. But you have a great personality. You’ll be just fine!

🎉Congratulations on your new chapter! I really didn't enjoy working at BBW. I was only seasonal, but I was miserable with the micro management, and discrimination from one particular manager who would only treat me sorta okay in front of our main store manager. He went on to manage a different store, and I hate to go to that location because he is there! They insisted I come back the next seasons, but I had gotten a way better gig, and they hired me solely based on my BBW experience. They were impressed with that! 😂
Micromanagers ate the worst, all the company cares about are whether sales goals are being met.
@Cynthiam106 EXACTLY! Constantly telling us in the earpiece how much we sold or haven't sold. I would ignore it and just try to genuinely help customers, not force sales on them.

I left corporate America job back 7 years ago. I went in...said my good byes...gave a higher up my piece of mind and never looked back as I gave HR my keys. Best decision I ever made!

Yeah BBW has been loosing a lot of their good staffs and people who make videos for them cuz they don’t even consider them for paid promotions . It’s so annoying. Yes, I did wonder so I started making some phone calls later. It was about an exchange I had made is what I heard.
It really was a great choice in quitting. Just think of all the money you spent there. I should know because I worked in retail and every paycheck I got, I would spend the majority in the store I worked at.

I understand. I was badgered by two superiors in their office when I was let go. The things they accused me of weren't even me, it was like they were talking about somebody else. They kept asking me questions and expecting answers. I finally asked am I being let go and since they said yes I said then can I please leave? It was so traumatizing. And I had signed never to disclose anything but I will say it's the department store with a large yellow cat. You'd think I would have just gotten up and walked out but in that situation you don't know what they're going to do. Anyway I totally understand your frustration and discontent. That's no way for them to treat you, it's dog in a manger behavior when they won't use you but don't want anyone else to have you either. Then you are in a "Schrodinger's job" situation where you are neither working nor unemployed. Best of luck to you.

4:36 ohhh .... girl please I was in the same hospital for 24 years almost in the same ICU no nurses ever stay in one place for that long we went through covid with just one assistant manager no managers, no director. If you were still getting benefits and she wasn't putting you on the schedule I don't think that's allowed I think you have to be working to get benefits I would call corporate

I’ve seen other ex BBW employees videos mention that their hours decreased significantly after Jan SAS as well. That seems to be the norm .

I went in today as a customer and one of the Managers was training a new hire. She was snapping her fingers and said “ when we’re busy ,, especially during the holidays you need to hustle,, move move move” while she was snapping her fingers. She also told her about making sure the customers who come in with a free item coupon that they walk out with other items,, she was rather snooty during this conversation. You could tell the lady she was talking to was put out by the entire thing, I k now its common to up-sale I get it,, its business but it was how she went about it.
That manager needs some training and how to communicate with her employees. She is horrible. The people you work with are very important on whether you like it.
