Hyundai seems to have nailed the premium segment with its latest i20. Few cars offer as much equipment and cabin space as the all-new Hyundai i20. It's hard to find fault with this car and even though it is a little more expensive than rivals like the Maruti Swift, but the feel-good cabin and high quality interiors really make it worth the cost. Such a small comment on handling makes me feel nervous.. it looks like the handling part is ignored in this review. Is it possible to review the handling on how it compares with Swift and Polo?
good car ! plastic bit on c pillar, not to my taste ! 16 inch alloys are perfect, compared to 14,15's offered by other makes; some say europe got 18 inches, but 16 inches is perfect to me & most !. only thing hyundai is missing on is 7 inch touch screen. nevertheless still South koreans did a very good job !

i am sure it might..! but 16 inches are just perfect for me ! but i would like to disagree with you on Indians prefer fuel economy over driving pleasure. I prefer a fine balance between fuel economy and driving pleasure. oil reserves are not going to last too long. north americans have abused, exploited natural reserves like anything and are still doing it ! with those v6s, v8s etc... ; many are realizing fuel efficient motors and hatchbacks are way forward..a fine balance. just like indians,asians, europeans, and south americans.

my name is karan singh shekhawat, i puchased Hyundai i 20, megna from the dealer- k.d. motors, Hyundai, basani, location jodhpur on 17.11.2015. by my mother’s name mrs. Manju Shekhawat. from the date of purchase i am facing many issues regarding my car. When i drive my car on a normal road the door always shout, driving is very noisy, suspension is not working properly, i always feel jurks inside the car, breaks are not properly working, air conditioner is not cooling my cabin and engine is also very noisy. And one day when i driving my car on highway my steering got failed. It is very risky to drive the car on highway. Regarding this issue i have visited Hyundai showroom many times but every time they keep my vehicle for 3 to 4 days. But still my problem is not resolved. I am facing this issue from the time when i purchase the car. i have purchased the car for my convenience not for suffering. every month i need to visit Hyundai service center, but i did not get any solution there. They give back my car in the same condition i handed over to them. For service i have visited k.d. motors and also visited rajaj Hyundai in jodhpur but in both of the service center i did not get resolution. I am totally dissatisfied with Hyundai services. I usually drive my car on highway, if anything is happen wrong than Hyundai will responsible for that.
This is my last mail to Hyundai and if i did not get any resolution within 15 days the i need to got for the legal procedure.

if hyundai offers to make custom car, I'd order for i20 with 1.5 petrol engine. Even old hyundai accent 1.5 engine would do the job.

In premium hatchback segment Elite i 20 is best in diesel variant, and worst in petrol, mileage is 11.5 to 13 liter in city petrol variant...but other like Maruti Baleno gives 17.5 in city..., Honda Jazz gives 14.5 in city...

OMG ! I cant beleive the reviewer said 'hyundai nailed it'.. Just FYI hyundai think that elite people do not care for their life thats why they removed the 6 airbags and EBD in their latest Elite version asta(o) which were present in the previous old generation I20 top model. I dont know how can they sell a breathless hatch in 7-8 lacs which lacks the full safety equipments and still call it premium. Common Indians lets stop getting attracted only by outside finish, curves, grills and edges like the reviewer in this video. Leave behind the craving for body color bumpers, electronically adjustible mirrors, steering mounted volume control, rear wiper, push button start blah blah and please please demand for more frugal body structure and safety equipments in atleast premium cost vehicles.
On a different note Honda jazz coming in next quarter is actually going to nail down the korean I20. People shud wait before deciding to buy this one.
On another note, dont consider buying low end model of I20, instead get yourself a high end honda brio or Nissan Micra or Ford figo or even a grand 10.. I think all of them will have 2 airbags, abs and EBD in their top models which will certainly save ur life one day. In India more than 50,000 people die in road accidents every year.
jazz won't be a safe car as well it ll have same safety features like i20 but with a thin metal sheet like city , amaze and mobilio don't forget the pathetic interior quality , noisy diesel engine , though i agree both jazz and i20 are not drivers car enthusiasts look elsewhere eg punto & polo .
