Aaron Morgan, I have added both the Brush Wolf and the Tanimboca Puukko to my collection several months ago. The Brush Wolf is a unique knife that is very capable of almost any task that I use a knife blade for. Your demo showed most of the task's that I use a knife blade for. I also use the Brush Wolf to grind up dried pinecones to use as kindling. The only thing that I have used the saw-back is for a cooking pot bail. The handle ergonomics are unique on this blade. The handle will work well for medium and large hand grips. I have used it with work gloves and it worked well. The thickness of the knife steel gives it some heft. I find that the 1095 carbon steel sharpens up great.
The Tanimboca Puukko is a very capable knife blade that is very durable. Once again your demo showed most of the task's that I have used this blade for. The sharp spine works well for scraping. I also have used it for a little bit of food prep. The handle ergonomics is a very common neutral "broom handle" style handle. The handle will work well for medium and large hand grips.
I also have paired both of these knives before. Both of these knives are very well made and are very durable.
I am a big fan of Tops Knives. I like that they are made in America. All of the Tops knives that I have purchased have always been "Top" quality knives.
    Thank you for your review.

The brush wolf is fast becoming my favourite outdoor tool. It’s versatile, tough, balanced. Nice job.

I haven't used the Brush Wolf yet, but the Puukko is a brilliant knife. I got it for our kids carving class and it cuts great. I also really like the handle.

@@TOPSKnivesofficial That depends on the age of the kids. For the younger ones we start with simple sticks and then we toast bread over the campfire. With the older ones we build small wooden ships, cars and gnomes. The "master class" are animal figures or everyday objects such as spoons or cups.

Not sure if its a production thing. But increase the 90⁰ spine on the brush wolf. Make it so that the entire back portion from the saw to the handle is 90⁰
90⁰ spine on a knife is irreplaceable for fire lighting in my opinion.
    Just a thought

I bought the knife. After two days I have a first impression.
The design of the blade is ingenious.
In my opinion, the handle design should be revised.
In the form it feels strange and tiring when working for a long time.

Other than the serrations along the spine it closely resembles my Bush knife design...which looks suspiciously like a Bull Nose Butcher...LOL...I reckon you've got good taste!...woods
