I now have 4 750's in my garage. A 2011 750 for the track, a 2013 600 with a 750 motor swap ( also for the track ), a 2017 for the road, and a 2020 GSX-S 750 for longer rides on the road. I actually just traded my 2020 s1k for the 2013 ( along with a decent amount of cash ). They are such fantastic bikes. I do know what you mean about no class to race them in though. Back in MN, CRA, I had to run with the liter bikes, and at BIR with the long, wide open turn 1 and 2, I would get left behind. As always, great stuff. Thanks for all the work you do on the channel.
I suppose I meant they don't have their own class, you can definitely hangout with the 1000cc's and I guess depending on racers skill maybe put some work down in that class. I absolutely love them though!!
Own a 2024 model and agree with you 100%. The bike is great. I wanted to do track days and decided to buy a sport bike. After some research, I picked the 750 and I'm glad I made the decision to purchase it. Cheers
I think it is probably one of the all time best bikes in the sweet spot. I own a 2022 GSXR 750Z that I bought new in 2022. LOVE the bike and great video!
Great video, I love your passion for these bikes as I feel just the same as you. I’m 62 currently on my third one, a 2014 anniversary edition which I ride on the street and track, also had an 05 and an 07, all three bikes are amazing, never had one issue, stay safe out there!
Great bike for sure. I'm a little surprised you didn't mention/highlight the '98 when they upgraded from carbs to efi. I know a lot of people who love that bike. One of my sponsors has very graciously loaned me a 2007 GSXR 1000 to kick off my racing "career". 😜 Thanks for taking the time to post up the video. Keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁
The hate comes from those who don't understand the pedigree. I bought my first one brand new just before I graduated high school in 2001. Been seriously considering another for a track bike. Currently have a K7 750 in the garage, the lady's bike. Sometimes, I have to remind her why it's a keeper.
We should talk about 750s against 1000. It's more fun beating up on racers on smaller bike! You can at club level race up of course which i did except when I had my 03 1000. Back then 135hp against 200hp 1000 early mid 2000. Ram my 92 750 til 04 and was still competitive whole time. Just setup and knowing your bike. 🎉
Excellent vid. I obtained a 2011 about a year ago. Yes, they are nice and light with more power than a 600. Parts are easy to obtain and not as expensive as other brands because they have been making the 750 for so long. The only thing I wish they offered is a quickshifter/autoblip option. But from what I understand, Suzuki only wants to offer that option as well as a few others on their flagship GSXR1000. I would add that they won't shred tires as quickly as a GSX1000 which is an excellent bonus if you do lots of track days. I can't wait to take it to COTA in June. 👍👍
@scmcint I ended up with the annatori. Great option for 200.00. excellent for quickshifting. The issue I have is that the Gsxr1000 has the QS/AB as standard. It's too bad they don't offer it on the 750.
@@jerrymorales6501 That's pretty reasonable for quick upshifts, but for proper autoblip downshift you really need throttle-by-wire which means aftermarket throttle bodies / ECU / $$$.
It will be interesting to see if Suzuki adds a ride by wire system whenever they finally get to updating these bikes again. I agree that the auto blip would send this bike to the top of many lists!!
@@scmcintthere is no auto blip options for the 750. Auto blip refers to auto downshifts. The 750 uses a cable actuated throttle system that doesn’t allow for auto blipping on bikes. Unless you were able to convert the 750 to electronic throttle (ride by wire) it’s not possible for an auto blipper. The 1000 has the auto blipping feature because it uses ride by wire to allow for it.
They are also doing well in Motoamerica in the supersport category. Of course, it has a ride by wire installed to be controlled by the rules. I root for Ty Scott #70 He had his share of crashes in 2024. I'm hoping he has a better year in 2025.
I’ve alw been interested in the 750 but never pulled the trigger on one. Currently own a 17 chr1000rr and a 2020 rocket 3. I’ve had a busa, r1 , 2012 cbr 1000rr, couple 600s but never a 750. Always wanted to at least ride one. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. I’m used to 1000cc power so how does the power compare? Would it feel like a huge downgrade if I ever bought one? I’m not a top speed guy so that doesn’t matter. I’m a rip through twisties in the hill country here in Texas type and I hear the 750 is very nimble. I wouldn’t sell either of my bikes to get one but maybe an addition to in the future
In need of help advice. Have 2010 750 40thou miles. The other day I give it a winter start. Slow turn over due to low battery. Very little fuel about 3 months old. Started ok valve's tap a little for 1/2 seconds pretty normal. Ran fine for 5 mins tick over. THEN STARTED to knock extra taping sound! Is this jew to battle/ fuel. Are do I have bigger problems. Scared to try till I know what's going on.
Usually a large knocking noise is not the best of signs, that being said I am not a certified mechanic, as was replied taking it to a shop might be your best option. I would not keep running it with that noise though.
Can't say there is a perfect, I ran a -1/+2 for a while but that was with a steel sprocket and 525 chain. Currently running -1/stock with aluminum sprocket, 520 chain, and quick turn throttle and love that setup. Once you start racing different tracks will make you want to swap the gearing all the time.
I had a k6 750 for about 2-3 years but then upgraded to a 1000 although the 750s are good bikes I prefer a 1000 for the power. I'm used to 1000cc power now and it doesn't do anything for me anymore so a 750 would be a no no
@JKMotoEntertainment I've had a k7 1000 that didn't handle well but could have been due to the battlax tyres, just didn't seem flickable. Then I had a K5 1000 that was great handled just like the 750 but that got stolen and now I've had my L2 for about 7 years which is just like the K5 but a little less midrange but more on the top which I prefer 😄
@gixxer7907 I can't really argue against the 1000, I just personally love the 750 lol. I definitely get the little extra power though, it can definitely make a difference!!
@@JKMotoEntertainment yeah, I only use my bikes for fun in the countryside so in the open stuff and track days so I love the extra power. 750 is a great bike though. I went from a KTM 200 to the gsxr 750 when I was 19 I couldn't believe the power difference 😂 took some getting used to but now 1000cc power isn't enough. You just get used to it and want more lol
@@gixxer7907 yeah lol I can see how that would be quite the jump! Personally I probably need to take a couple steps back in power for a little bit, but it's just so addicting!! My other bike is an RSV4 and they are nuts!

@@RomeSV My first bike was a 2004 SV650s, and I have to be honest, I wish I hadn't sold it. I think that's the only bike I regret selling.
@@502-BadGatewaywas that 600 to 750 swap just a plug and play with 600 harness? I'm going to be doing the same swap getting motor and ecu here soon

It does make an amazing package right in the awesome mix of power and weight easy to handle but still picks itself up well on the straights!!
