won't be for long. Bikes are going the same direction as cars. abs, traction control, shift for you, rev match for you... hell won't be long til they're self driving too and there's no point in riding at all. I wish nothing but bad things for the numbskull at Honda whose idea it was to put DCT on a motorbike.
@@TachOnRed Got all that stuff on my R1250R Beemer, I can switch it all off but in reality I don't even think about and aside from being fairly heavy, it's just a great bike to ride. Btw, l have hit a kangaroo on a bike and trust me, it didn't end well.

Love it! As an ex Australian Superbike racer during the 90’s, on a Suzuki just reminds me about when WSB was arguably at its best. As an example, my home racetrack is Phillip Island and the trackside attendances record is still from 95 and 96. It’s hard to find these today in this condition.
@@stevehayward7947 The only positive thing is at least the idea of WSB hasn’t changed that much. I do however miss the top 4 Japanese 750 cc bikes and the original 916 Ducati that kept things interesting and entertaining. I was about 200 metres behind Foggy when he had his crash exiting turn 2. A spot I’m still yet to have seen another bike depart that part of the track again.
Great clip guys, always love them. I just picked up a 2011 L1 GSXR750 off a family member. I wasn't keen on a 750 but it was to cheep to say no. My last bike was a 2010 Hayabusa and before that a SV650 and have ridden lots of bikes from Hayabusa's to Harley's. I have been pleasantly surprised by how good and fast the GSXR 750 really is. I flipped the clip on's from left to right and put them upside down which gave me about a 2 inch rise for free which has made it even better for me. I'm also surprised how much room it has, I'm 6 foot 7 tall and 115kg and it still feels great for a sport bike. (I know I shouldn't be riding sport bikes at my size but they are just to much fun)🤪 I also changed the front sprocket down one to a 16tooth and the back up 2 to a 47tooth. It has made it accelerate more like a 1000. Just such a rideable bike. Was going to ride it for a year then get a GSXS1000 but after a couple of months and the mods I've done to it I'm going keep it now, Such a good reliable bike😊👍

Nice vid. Great bike. Surely it's time for Suzuki to update & relaunch the GSXR750 in Europe. Sales seem good for the relaunched supersports 600's & they wouldn't need to do much to it at all. Also the 1000's are getting too expensive & too fast so the 750 would sit in that sweet spot for those upgrading or downsizing. It's also a great all rounder, especially if it has adjustable footpegs which previous models like this one have.
been watching long time on and off. its a supersport really...and wait till you get the forks and shock done. a better master, quick shifter. and full exhaust. Yoshi also use to sell rear shock link that changed it completely. then get a pair of slicks! and bodywork. don't want to scratch that pretty looking paint now do we :D
Please stop saying how good the GSXR 750 is! I’m waiting for second hand prices on these to come down so I can buy one, and Neevesy keeps talking prices up!😢😊
I work at a massive motorcycle dealership that sells brand new S1000RRs, Fireblades and more. Regardless of what i spent time on, my 2015 750 is my favorite sports bike of all time. Period. Riding a gaming pc on wheels is all you feel on the electronic mess of modern bikes. The 750 stands alone in its purity and weighs less than all the modern 600s as well. It's a KILLER package and I hate electronics so it's only natural. I'm 6'3 and it's comfy for me as well for half-day rides. Its taken down many 1000s in stop light races and back roads. Update it with a TFT and the QS from the GSX8R and itll be perfect.
I have basically the same setup for brakes on my 2001 GSX-R1000 with 2008 1000 forks and 2016 750 Brembo calipers and Hel lines. I also find brakes fading. I feel the calipers might be the issue. I'm doubting those calipers are as good as the name on them seem to suggest...
They're not middleweights by the standard definitions. They're supersports bikes. Middleweights were defined as bikes that sit between supersports and superbikes. These definitions mean less and less nowadays.
I've got a '22 Speed Triple RS, and a '00 Suzuki 1200 Bandit (for when it rains). The RS is in the shop so I've been riding the Bandit. The Bandit is plush and comfortable (almost "fluffy") and I (almost) like riding it more than the Speedy, just because it's a simple, no frills bike.
I really think there should be trackdays for sub 140bhp and sub 80bhp. Would be so much less intimidating for people who ride 'normal' middleweight nakeds etc and just want to have a giggle on track.
The only modern option that is vaguely in the same world might be a ducati supersport. Shame there's so little in the category, you don't need to make a sports bike that much less focussed to make it alot more usable.
I have the 600 version 2011 L1 great road bike good enough on track days too. Why spend £15 20 thousand when you have these for 5 ish. 80 / 90 miles with a couple of breaks is enough for me but I am 78.

The only modern option that is vaguely in the same world might be a ducati supersport. Shame there's so little in the category, you don't need to make a sports bike that much less focussed to make it alot more usable.
Why the 750 over the K5-K6 1000?
Who is the exhaust manufacturer?
Old school rocks
the only think i dont like is the exhaust, i prefer a proper can. personal preference.
Gsxr750
It’s on my wish list ..
Surprised not to see Aprilia RS660 in his garage
Why?
I have the 600 version 2011 L1 great road bike good enough on track days too. Why spend £15 20 thousand when you have these for 5 ish. 80 / 90 miles with a couple of breaks is enough for me but I am 78.
Nice bike🤤🤤
A good choice.
