This is kind of ironic. God said he would blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven, and here we are today trying hard to find any modern extrabiblical evidence to prove that they exist. 😅

It is even worse: the Jews have made remembering Amalek one of their 613 immutable rules. Insane

I read when the Hebrews left they took a lot of Egyptian Tools or Instruments with them. In particular an Egyptian arc, a precursor communication device to Moses Arc of the Covenant but basically the same technology. That Pharaoh sent Amalek to retrieve the Artifacts. The writing of History often seems to favor the Victors

The book of Esther is about the remnants of Amalekites.
    Agag the Amalekite king.
But Samuel said, "As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women." And Samuel hewed Agag to pieces before the LORD at Gilgal. (1 Samuel 15:33, NASB)
Haman a agagite (Amalekite king lineage)
‘“After these events King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and established his authority over all the princes who were with him.” (Esther 3:1, NASB)
In the end all the remnants of Amalekites were killed in retaliation for the plot by Haman. What king Saul did not complete, The Lord completed the extermination using Esther.

    The bible/God is clear ...
The origine of the Amalekites relate viaTimna, to Esau.
Timna was a city north of Kades-Barnea, near Seir mountain.
Gods curse/hate (Rom. 9:13) about Esau: to serve Jacob/Israël will eventually END (Ex. 17:14)
This prophecy explains no artifacts found

Very interesting! In regard to hard-to-pin-down nomadic people groups, I'm seeing a lot of similarities between your Amalekite video and your Edomite video which makes sense because, according to Genesis 36 : 12 , Amalek is the grandson of Esau / Edom. I suspect this overlap contributes to the lack of clarity regarding who exactly the Amalekites were. Perhaps they are hard to distinguish because they were lumped in with the Shasu of Edom / Seir?

    Very interesting series.
The evidence of hill fortresses or enclosures is especially interesting. These hill fortresses are also found in the Greek islands from the same time period. The time period of the sea people.
This period is very interesting because of what happened. Civilizations were lost the Minoan script was forgotten. What kind of changes in the way of life can result in such serious changes?
War? Maybe but there is no record of such a war.
I vote for climate changes that drove people around the Mediterranean in search for a place to survive. On the sea, we have the sea peoples. But if there was a Katastrophy of that size, why don't we see a similar effect inland?
Well on the sea we have refuges barely managing til survive. We would also on land have people fighting for survival.
In my view, the Amalekites are just such a people. More or less refuges trying to survive.
I also think that this time period was the origin of Israel. Groups of people with different origins, some from Iraq (the Abraham story) and some from Egypt, the Moses story. I also think the the Moses story originates from a group of Egyptian priests that left for Israel and later became the Levites. Priests were educated and education means knowledge and knowledge means records. First by memory and later in writing.
Yes, I known Levites claim heritage and that is probably true in some sense. But in which sense?
I find it especially interesting that Israel surfaces in a time that most surrounding kingdoms have disappeared, and it took centuries, before some of the other empires regained their strength.
It seems as if the climate Katastrophy hit, the south part of Italy, all of Greece and the Turkish plateau, the most, but it also hit down through Iraq.

Any speculations on why God didn't just wipe out the Amalekites with a targeted plague or localized flood? And what's up with Moses having to hold his hands up to allow the Israelites to win in battle as described in Exodus 17? Why? It seems that God succeeded in being at war from generation to generation as conflict in the Middle East has never ceased, albeit without the Amalekites in modern times. For a creator of the universe, God sure seems to be pretty weak and powerless when it comes to things that humans care about. When he does help, it's in a substantially inefficient and impermanent way. I presume that is why all of God's promises are essentially delayed until the afterlife. He must really be powerful in that realm.

The problem you are having with the Amalekites is that you haven't located Kadesh Barnea correctly. It is not Ain Qedis in the Negev, but Wadi Musa (Petra) in the Transjordan plateau east of the Arabah in the desert of Parm (DT 1:1). You had it right when you said they began in Edom in the land of their ancestor Esau. They spread out from there. They were probably bandits raiding caravans of goods traveling from Arabia to the Levant.
There is evidence of people living in the Wadi Musa area going back 13,000 years.

@@501Mobius NASA are lying as is every other space agency on Earth. If you haven’t figured out that they’re all Satanists working together to deceive the world yet then I pray you eventually will. Btw, the Bible literally says the heavens were created to look old and that all things were made by the breath of GOD’s mouth, and if you’d ever read the scriptures you’d realize Christ gave no room for argument that the world was a made in six days and left a timeline in Genesis for you to know exactly how old the world is. If you had ever done the human growth rate back to six people, you would also realize there is no room for error, we cannot possibly be very old and to get back to six people with growth and mortality taken into account you get exactly back to post~flood on the timeline.
My sincere suggestion is that you should put your whole trust in Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to show you everything you need to know through GOD’s own word. It’s all true. I will pray for you!
      GOD Bless! ❤️

      -2 Peter 3:5
“By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.”
      -Psalm 33:6
You should read the rest of scripture. If you believe in Christ then you also must believe his prophets and that he himself said all of this was true. By faith in Christ you are saved, if you have faith, GOD will show you the rest and you will be rewarded for your faith

If you read the old testament towards the end there is a civility issue in the area or region and many small new tribes emerge some with very distasteful customs the unrest at the time caused and increase in nomadic tribal style communities which was aided by the destruction of canaan and how its people settled after the invasion of joshua.

The Amelikites are the lukka people, am means people followed by lqq people of lukka, in Egyptian and Hittite they are always refered to as a people not a kingdom. They were sea people settled south of the Philistines after mernathaph defeated them shortly after bronze age collapse. Originally they came from South western turkey on the Aegean coast , they are related to the tjerrker , denyen ( tribe of Dan) Mycenaean Greeks settled around the coast before being driven North by the Philistines. They are also related to the Sheridan. All this is around 1200 BC..

Amalekite will mean exactly what every other cultural name meant at that exact moment in the history of the world; “Sons of Amalek”. When we talk about Middle Eastern Archaeology we need to remember that the area is a giant 100,000,000 piece puzzle and we’ve only dug up 100 of the pieces. The Bible is the piece that completes the whole puzzle. Simple as that, GOD Bless! ❤️

@8:52 "after the reign of David, the Amalekites basically disappear" - that's suspicious, because it's afterwards that the time of historicity basically begins. Yes, we know the kings in Jerusalem saw themselves as the Dynasty of David, but what David or any earlier figure did is behind a veil of legend.
