Great video. I didn't have to remove base but glad to see both options of using slotted screwdriver through base or removing the base. I got parts for my MB1001 off Ebay so hopefully Magic Bullet is good as new.

What size screw driver do you use the get the cross headed screw out?? Having difficulty with this part.

I’ve tried to do this with two different magic bullets, and was never able to get it to work. Never able to get the gear on the top off.

Sorry sir, it’s not working, it just keeps rotating but do not get unscrewed, any other method possible? It seems as though it’s jammed.. please help.. thanks

Sometimes there is a need to grease the gear before unscrew it, let it grease for one hour before unscrewing. Hope so it does work.
