BRILLIANT! Works a treat and simple to do. Though getting the old one off, took two of us with gentle persuasion.

Wonderful, thanks so much. I nearly stripped the screw using too small a driver, and trying to unscrew it normally. Changed my approach to yours and sorted first time!

I tried to use the screwdriver but it stripped so grabbed a cloth and put it over the fan to hold. I didn’t grip too tight so it wouldn’t break but that made it much easier. The video was great thank you.

I found it impossible to do via the screw, my advice is to take the screws out that are under the 3 rubber stands in the top. That gives you just enough slack to pull the internal part up through the body and place the internals on it's side, then you can access the shaft behind the fan with a wrench or pliers and then the top nut comes off fairly easily.

I can not get the bottom flat head screw off. I ve tried vice grips as well as 3 different strong men who have tried. It's not coming off. Has anyone ran into this? (Yes, I'm turning to the right/clockwise). Since the screw won't come out is it just $100 piece of trash now? :/

This completely didn't work for me. I spent a good $40 on the two beefiest locking pliers I could find and it was literally impossible to remove the nut. I ended up bashing the whole thing with a hammer like a mad man after spending all day trying to fix it. I hate nutribullet.

WD 40 sprayed on, a few light taps, screwdriver on base. Came off using mole grips.😊
