Honda Fit Jazz 2007 Headlight Bulb Replacement 💡

Honda Fit Jazz 2007 Headlight Bulb Replacement 💡
I will add this to my methods list. I used building plaster and if I didn't have one on hand, I'd insert a secondary screw between the wall plug and the wall, which also works.
Bro please hurry up this ain’t going down
Or you can insert a bigger wall plug and insert in the bigger wall plug your wall plug. It works perfectly.
And one only sensor?
I get another plug the same size and cut it in half. That usually fills up the gap and is nice and grippy.
In the 1970's the were inserting pied of wood and then screwing it directly, no need for plastic plugs
Well, there you go, and all this time, I was doing it wrong by using a larger plug for the hole.
I always use a vacuum cleaner to suck out the dust from the hole. If the wall plug fits loosely in the hole, hammer in some tooth picks to fill the gaps. But dust is the biggest cause of preventing wall plugs to seat.
Excellent.
OMG this worked. Thank you so much!
Why donit force two rawl plugs
Why not use a larger wall plug??
An ex army mate showed me his own trick. Cut a 2nd plug in half, place the 2 halves around the 1st plug, then hammer into the hole.
Thanks ❤❤❤
Just drill the right size hole for the plug ffs oh no let’s go and buy a reel of cable instead😂
This is so practical and straight to the point. Thank you!
Just use a bigger plug, or a dowel pin. Duh.
Fill the hole with resin and start again
The screw attaching the sensor is SO tight that it is stripping the head. Any suggestions?
thanks for the tip. i tried wrapping the plastic anchor with electrical tape and got a disastrous result 😅
Perfect, I’ll get right on this. No problem that it’s -10 out, right? ;) Oh well, I shouldn’t have stored the plywood like I did.
Help requested! I have to reattach some fallen-down cubboards on an rather loose and crumply wall. So it absolutely HAS to stick. I was concidering refilling the holes with filler and redrilling the holes for absolutely maximux safety? Anyone?
I've always found putting the wall plug in a bigger wall plug, or split another plug in half and those 2 halves to fill the gap. I don't get the wire going in with the bolt though. Enlighten me
What is your accent?
YOU are awesome, thank you so much for sharing the detailed and accurate solution. I simply followed your instructions and voila , problem solved for < $10
My take: Put a screw slightly in the plug. Hotglue to the hole. Grab the screw and put it, with the plug on top, in the hole. Wait 1 minute. Tighten. Done.
Thanks!
Glad the video helped.
Thank you so much this worked great! I’m an old lady and figured it out from your video. Thanks a bunch.
Another bodge job
Thank you so much brother 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Hi bro Did you know the size of Oring Plz my car is ford focus 2012
I’ve used thousands of plugs in my DG business, and if a hole goes oversize, put a slightly smaller plug into the loose plug centre and tap in so far, put a small dia screw into the second plug and bang right in with a hammer! It forces the first out into the oversized hole perfectly! Oh, do take the screw back out before final use! Cheers
Use matchsticks rather than expensive copper.
For viewers under eighty; a quarter of an inch is about 6mm. You’re welcome!
Use a fekking bigger plug for fekks sake
I've got a better idea, don't drill out the hole so big. Problem solved.
Other than maybe your basement, how many people have concrete walls throughout their houses? 😱😂
Or use bigger plugs
Talcum powder and superglue works
I watch this on TH-cam today after a hour of plunging i watch a video on TH-cam with hot water an dish soap an iy wirked like a charm
What I do when the hole is too big is fill the whole with a filler like an indoor filler then push the plug into place and wait for the filler to dry before inserting a screw and I usually find the screw will go in tight.
Or you could just use the correct size raw plug!
what if theres a rim freshener 😂stuck in there ?
I just use glue gun , apply a touch of glue to plug , push in and leave for a few minutes to set .
I've long used polyurethane adhesive - the sorts that foam but preferably only minimally. Dampen the hole, cover the plug with polyurethane and push it in. Ideally, leave until the glue has set. And drive the screw in. If you use too much, it is easy to cut off the excess. If the hole inside the plug gets filled with foam, that doesn't matter because it has sufficient give to still drive a screw in easily.
I simply lightly hammer-in a few used matchsticks that you're probably only going to throw away anyway. Then tap-in your wall plug & it'll hold tight. Sometimes with enough old matchsticks, you then don't even need the rawl-plug. Zero cost solution & job done.
Fyi. I wish to point out that in England we do not say 'Way' too big as that is a grammatically incorrect word in this context. What is said correctly is 'Far' too big.
Can this be used as a preventative option.? Thanks in advance
Or, you could decide not to faf about, fill the hole, let it set, redrill the hole the right size, insert the plug and use as normal.
If not in a hurry to finish the job, I've found the easiest and simplest way to fix a loose wall plug once the old one is removed is to clean or blow all loose dust from the hole, Moisten the hole with a few drops of water to dampen the area and fill the plug hole with any grab adhesive and push in a new plug and leave it for 24 hours. Solid as a rock and never had an issue re attaching whatever to the new plug.
I use grout, cement or wall plaster, whatever I have at hand. The stuff also comes in tubes for filling up small holes, sold as wall filler.
