Curious how tyre sling will be with those rear wind tunnels. Like the overall design/styling. not feeling the rear spoiler - angle looks difficult to the eye. Interior looks great and appreciate a leather option and real buttons; as buttons are convenient.

It looks very good as it is. But I would have preferred it even more if they kept the signature front lights with only 1 straight strip of Led's, more like the shape of the Nio or Jaguar f-type. It would look even more aggressive and sexier. This car with those lights would have been perfection. They did a bit too much with the shape/design of the current lights. The interior is rich and beautiful, but a bit bigger cockpit display might be a better experience. And lastly, the center display turns up and down, it would have been great if you could also make it turn a bit towards the driver for a more direct view, since the passenger already gets his own display anyway.

Maybe we should consider it a Taycan competitor that LOOKS like an SUV but totally isn't in terms of cargo space.
If they can make this at 2000 kg, that would be impressive.
That said, Tesla Model Y is way more spacious and is well under 2000 kg. 35cm shorter as well.
I hope NIO's new 360 Wh/kg cells will make EV more like normal cars again in terms of weight and even better for space and comfort (foot wells to the floor)

People who buy these cars don't care about reliability. They can afford to fix them but they usually only keep their cars for a few years until the newer model comes out. This is also electric which means there are very few things that could go wrong. If you care so much about reliability you should buy a boring Toyota, not a cool luxury car.

I mean it could be any Chinese EV Suv. Nothing about it makes it a Lotus except the badge.

    "Simplify and add lightness".
No, wait, let's build an electric SUV! Hail over new overlords.

Well this is supposed to be around 2 tons, which is phenomenal for such type of cars (for exemple a range rover sport is 2,8 tons), but I’ve seen this car in real, it’s stunning but massive. I’m not sur than they can keep their promise. I guess that, if we take in consideration it’s size and the battery’s capacity of 112kwh, it’ll be easily 2,5 tons.

I am really excited about this car. Great for Lotus and with the Chinese company in the back finally they have money for new models to come. But build in China could be a problem for the customers. 🤔

Quality wise... It's better to build in China. Look at Tesla china gigafactory.. the production output is giant

@@LunarFlare91 Agreed, I thought more about customers that were looking for a "british" car.
For Lotus itself a cooperation with other companies is absolutely essential.

Thats the best electric car I have ever seen. Lotus needs charging stations all over the world and it would be even better. It looks incredible. I will get this instead of Polestar 2.

The Yellow Lotus badge looks really bad, like a cheapsticker on this car. They should make it settle black or gray logo..
